Little bit of background...
Currently 7 weeks pregnant with my 2nd. Iv had 3 miscarriages in the last year plus 4 in past years. Last time I miscarried I just knew. I went with my gut. This time I have been feeling really sick, my boobs have been sore and iv been that but more tired. Woke up this morning and nothing. I feel fine. I just know in my gut that the baby isn't growing now. I'm tempted to go and get another clear blue to see if it still says 3+ weeks but I don't know if that will give me an answer. I just can't wait around for the next 5 weeks until dating scan to see if baby is still there or not

Oh op, what a roller coaster.
Pregnancy after a loss was a massive head fuck for me. I did not cope well at all.
I really hope this works out for you, and that you have some good support around you.
Take care.

I'm sorry you're in this situation OP. Really hoping tomorrow brings good news for you.

It must be awful and so worrying. 💐

loutyre · 05/06/2019 20:22

My partner just keeps saying "there's nothing they can do it is what it is" and I know that but it's being in the unknown that upsets me. The early pregnancy unit didn't help they just said "because your only 8 weeks we can only offer an exam" I hate the your only 8 weeks....yeah but it still hurts. Because I'm only 8 weeks it's just disposable...is that it? It doesn't matter? Sad

I'm really sorry to hear about your experience and lack of sympathy from people surrounding you.

Could you get booked in for a private scan? Loads of places offer them and if you look on Groupon or wowcher, there's always deals. I didn't suffer a loss so can't imagine how it feels but was still anxious throughout my whole pregnancy.

blushmelikeyou · 05/06/2019 20:44

Is it bright red? How big are the clots? Any cramping?

Pizzaaddict · 06/06/2019 17:00

How was the scan op?

That’s brilliant news. Hang in there. It’s a tough road.

SunshineSophia · 06/06/2019 21:58

Aw, glad to hear it OP! Pregnancy is so stressful - hope it gets better for you from here on out Flowers

DoveGreylove · 07/06/2019 16:05

So sorry you're going through this OP. I know what it's like at the beginning and having spotting / bleeds etc. It's such a scary time. You just want the time to go quickly and get to that 12 week scan don't you. I hope everything works out for you! X

loutyre · 08/06/2019 18:22

Just updating anyone who is still watching. I'm bleeding again. Midwife recommended aspirin...anybody else heard of that? Thought this would only make it worse because it thins your blood

Stardustmoon · 08/06/2019 20:27

I am so sorry for your losses and stress during this pregnancy. I have heard of aspirin being used. My friend was told to take it for the same reasons as you and she now has a healthy boy. I took it during my second pregnancy as I had preeclampsia in my first and it helped with that too. It is supposed to be good for lots of reasons. Wishing you all the best xx

loutyre · 08/06/2019 20:28

Thankyou @Stardustmoon i just hope all turns out ok because the constant feeling sick and constant little bleeds are starting to get me down xx

@loutyre I had clexane whilst pregnant and we had lost 3 before that and that was the pregnancy which all worked out ok, i had a bit of bleeding too until about 8.5 weeks (going back a few years now) but was round about then. Stressful!

Fingers crossed for you Thanks

armsandtheman · 08/06/2019 21:45

I bled until I was 20 weeks pregnant with my daughter. It was the most stressful time and I've never been able to consider going through it again. She was born a few weeks early but is now a very healthy 7 year old! They never found out why.

It's awful as there's so little they can do and the scans reassure at the time but not for long. It's a scary time but once they have seen the heartbeat it's very likely all will be fine (they told me 90% at 8 weeks and that improved as the pregnancy progressed.

Good luck

Novasky1 · 09/06/2019 19:39

I am pregnant now @loutyre ...just 5 weeks so early days. How are you today?

HoneycombAndAJackass · 10/06/2019 12:08

How are you today, I am keeping everything crossed for you.

loutyre · 10/06/2019 12:19

I am just trying to take it easy and not stress too much. Only abit of brown bleeding this morning. Sitting on the edge of my seat. Scan next Wednesday so fingers crossed x

FunInTheSun2019 · 10/06/2019 12:26

The waiting is dreadful isn't it!
But remember this is a different pregnancy. It's easier said than done, but maybe from your previous losses your anxiety is getting the better of you..so try your best to relax at any opportunity you can..keep us updated xx
