Just wondering really. I am only 6 weeks so just bloating here but already hate tight fitting clothes especially in the heat.

Whats got you all through your pregnancies?

Leggings, every time!

SurreyMumOfOne · 24/05/2019 08:35

Leggings or over the bump wide leg linen trousers.

Grumpos · 24/05/2019 08:39

Fuck off massive T-shirt’s and leggings and a dressing gown or just staying in bed Grin

Seriously H&M maternity range is pretty decent, their leggings are very comfy and about 8/9£ a pair so you can replace them regularly as you grow or they wear out a bit. They do different lengths too and aren’t obviously maternity, so you could get away with them in the early parts too.
Also comfy bras / crop tops / soft sports bras.

Dunagree dress! So roomy. But maternity ones have a lot of space so better for later on. Throughout pregnancy, soft underbump trousers.

jackio2205 · 24/05/2019 08:40

Leggings for sure! Im normally a size 12 but i bought size 16 over the bump ones, they dont have to stretch as much so dont go see through (a massive hate of mine!) and wore them with tunic dresses and long tops and literally all types of shoes. Now im 40weeks and its hot, ive only been able to wear dresses for the past 3 weeks now, too itchy and swollen etc for anything on my legs.
Also get in the maternity bras asap (i just wore night bra crop top ones rather than an expensive nursing bra) u'll notice the difference in comfort.
Good luck! X

Molke bras
Leggings

Mrsmummy90 · 24/05/2019 09:13

PJ's lol. I take off my proper clothes at any given opportunity!

Seeline · 24/05/2019 09:17

I loved my dungarees - it was lovely not having anything around my waist.

iklboo · 24/05/2019 09:18

DH's boxer shorts Blush

peamad · 24/05/2019 09:23

In the heat of summer I loved light cotton dresses, either sized up in swing/smock style from a non-maternity range, or later on stretchy maternity options.

purplemama1990 · 24/05/2019 09:32

DH's tshirts!

Spargle · 24/05/2019 09:58

Mothercare under/over-bump yoga pants. At the beginning, I could keep the pressure off my stomach entirely, and now I can pull them right up do I’ve not got acres of flesh exposed. They stay up well in the majority of circumstances, which is more than I can say for any under-bump jeans!

I bought them week 7/8 I think. 36+2 now and they’re starting to get tired. But they helped so much, and I have no regrets! If anything, it’s useful to have a disposable pair now!

unlimiteddilutingjuice · 24/05/2019 10:00

Primark always seem to have stretchy tube skirts for around a fiver.
Super comfy.

Zackisback878 · 24/05/2019 10:03

I second the mothercare yoga pants!

DeadDoorpost · 24/05/2019 10:04

Pyjamas, maxi dresses and leggings/tops

Bloomburger · 24/05/2019 10:26

Hush Harem pants and Isabella Olivia dresses.

PrayingandHoping · 24/05/2019 10:35

I hate leggings and tight fitting too. Maternity clothing market is awful

I have bought maternity jeans and shorts GAP and some bigger sized running trousers from a sports store that are elastic waist and draw string. Hopefully they will last a while

I bought a jo jo Maman bebe maternity belt though which means I can wear my non maternity trousers which I am loving!

cja06 · 24/05/2019 11:02

Comfort bras from Asda and some basic maternity dresses from Next

Kiki275 · 24/05/2019 11:09

Maxi dresses all the way! No waistbands or tight seams. You don't even need underwear on if you don't want to. There's no need to buy maternity ones and they'll be wearable after baby too. x

Lwmommy · 24/05/2019 11:18

Jersey vest style maxi dress, it grew with me and had no elasticated waist or buttons or anything that could dig in.

Florencenotflo · 24/05/2019 12:26

These harem pant jump suits! I've just been on holiday for a week and took 5 of these in different colours 😂 absolute god send in 30 degree heat at 26 weeks pregnant!

Florencenotflo · 24/05/2019 12:27

Meant to say that most of them are about £8.50 too! Bargain!

McHelenz · 24/05/2019 12:42

I'm currently living in leggings until I get to 12 weeks and I'll buy some maternity stuff. Im 6 weeks too and I can't wear jeans as they push on my belly and add to the sickness.

magpie24 · 24/05/2019 13:15

Some XL leggings from Primark. Lovely

sh13 · 25/05/2019 00:09
