Just wondering really. I am only 6 weeks so just bloating here but already hate tight fitting clothes especially in the heat.

Whats got you all through your pregnancies?

Skater style dresses worked well for me. As I got bigger, had to wear leggings underneath though.
Primarks lounge trousers were comfy for around the house and on labour/ antenatal ward

Dungarees - I hated having any type of band round my bump.

DeRigueurMortis · 25/05/2019 01:01

A while ago for me but empire line maxi/midi dresses were my go to.

Comfy, cool and not overpriced maternity wear that I could use after pregnancy.

A little against the grain here but I frequently wore Wolford fatale dresses very comfortable and I had them in lots of colours.

TORDEVAN · 25/05/2019 02:35

I've just gone up a few sizes in Primark leggings/t-shirts 😬 34 weeks with twins now and 2XL are approaching indecent, only 2 weeks to go though so hoping they'll last

Loved maxi dresses with my first (didn't have a toddler to control then though 😅)

I hated the feeling of a waistband over my bump so I hated wearing leggings or tights. Comfiest thing for me were these two casual long dresses I had. They were just basic t-shirt length sleeves and the dress extended to near my ankles (of course as bump got bigger, dress got higher, but even at it's highest it was still long enough to not need tights or leggings or anything. Soooo comfy!

Over bump knickers. I originally bought a pair in a sale. They were so comfy. Made of lycra - which at the time was unusual for pants - although very common now. They were so good I bought more (and more for other pregnancies)....until they were discontinued.

No Balls yoga crop tops instead of bras
(Later on) H&M stretchy nursing bras
Asda maternity lounge pants and t shirts

Honestly, the Asda maternity stuff saved me - I was having twins so I got absolutely massive and their lounge pants were so insanely comfy

I also got some super comfy pyjama bottoms from asos that I still wear two years on 😂

Dresses with Seraphine bamboo leggings, the only ones that don't dig in to my bump or fall down, and don't have unsightly seams. Very generous bump space though so better suited for later!

ASOS do good maternity stuff pregnancy got me over my dislike of ordering clothes online. They did a great package of a pair of leggings, vest top, skirt and dress all in the same black lightweight jersey for £35. I lived in that stuff and ordered 2 sets.

I'm still wearing the leggings and vest tops, my DD is 4 months.

chocodrops · 25/05/2019 07:34

Oh and get a new soft bra as soon as your boobs start to hurt. And congratulations 🌷

Definitely non-wired bras & over-the-bump jeans (still wear them now if we go out for a big meal! 😉)

kgeal3 · 25/05/2019 09:23

Leggings and vest tops at home. Stretchy bodycon dresses when out, stretchy waistband culottes at work with vest tops. I've not had to buy maternity wear yet but have some for later. Again just dresses, leggings and a couple of maternity jumpsuits/play suits

lovebeingmum9 · 25/05/2019 16:00

I had over the bump leggings and they was so comfy that I wore them 5 months after I gave birth! Blush be careful though as you won't even notice the weight piling on as the leggings stretch with you lol

EnjoyItAll · 26/05/2019 09:47

Over the bump bootcut leggings from H&M for work, dh pyjama bottoms and one of his T-shirt’s for lounging round and when out over the bump jeans and tops that aren’t fitted. I’m due September so will be looking at dresses nearer July and August to get me through last few months!

Hush trousers - soft joggers

NauseousMum · 26/05/2019 21:53

Joggers, lounge pants and a onsie.

RedWineAllMine · 26/05/2019 22:12

Leggings, leggings, leggings, leggings leggings. Did I mention leggings? Grin
One size up shoes too, for extra foot room, which helped as my feet swelled
