Sorry all I can say is just take each day as it comes I have to try not to think too far ahead but I'm not much less nervous this time than I was 1st or 2nd ( in the end I had a reason to be second time) time sometimes ignorance is bliss! X

GrandTheftWalrus · 21/05/2019 11:19

My period came today so was a chemical pregnancy. Never had one of those before.

Islandermum · 21/05/2019 11:34

Absolutely gutted to say that I have had bleeding through the night and terrible cramps. GP confirmed early miscarriage. Wishing you all the best with your pregnancies. I hope to see you all again on another forum x

Islandermum · 21/05/2019 11:35

@GrandTheftWalrus hope you are ok. Not nice to go through. Sending best wishes 💐

GrandTheftWalrus · 21/05/2019 11:40

If I hadn't tested I wouldn't have known but I just had a feeling my period wasnt coming when it was due

Daisyboo70 · 21/05/2019 11:43

Didn't have good news today from my scan. Sonographer could only see a bubble and nothing else supposed to be 6-7wks it was no where near the size. Bloods to see if my hcg is doubling or not or whether it's an ectopic.

MummyBearBoo · 21/05/2019 23:37

Sorry for all you guys suffering losses - i had a CP on my 3rd cycle but think I'd already lost it as the next day test was neg so think HCG was already dropping I started bleeding 3 days later. After that I didn't want to test til my period had missed by a week! I'd rather not know! Xx

fluffyjumper · 22/05/2019 02:55

I'm 6 +5 weeks. Due 10th Jan. Im sorry for all the losses.
Im having a terrible time, been diagnosed with hyperemesis and have been vomiting since 5 weeks. Last Wednesday I saw my gp with vomiting and vertigo. She examined me and I was tender on my left abdomen, I was sweating and shaking. She sent up to epu, worried I had appendicitis or eptopic. They were amazing, did bloods before I saw the dr they came back clear (I'm a nurse so the worst pt ever). They gave me scan as HCG levels were good. No eptopic and saw a heart beat.

Took Monday off work as my job entails some gruesome, smelly wounds which induce vomiting. I've been nursing 15 years I'm normally fine with these. Went back Friday morning which left me bed ridden the whole weekend. Monday I was meant to be doing a long day but had to keep running to the loo to vomit. Called my gp who has says it's not just morning sickness (I'm sick 24/7) its hyperemesis. Signed off and told tod to rest for 2 weeks.

Problem is even my spotless, clean house seems to smell and I'm led in bed trying not to vomit as I can smell something. My husband is snoring and if one more person tells me to try ginger I'm going to lose my shit.

This is my 2nd and last time I wasnt really sick. Be with it the end though.

Marty93 · 22/05/2019 11:58

@fluffyjumper I'm the same as you, due on 10th Jan. I also am suffering the nausea and sickness, but it only started when I turned 6 weeks. Today is my first day off work due to sickness and vomiting. Hope we both start to feel more human soon xxxx

fluffyjumper · 22/05/2019 18:54

Marty I honestly am struggling to cope. I'm in bed all day. I've done lots of research and got the travel sickness bands. But the thing that works for me is sipping fizzy drinks and as soon as I get a craving eating it. Keep me posted on how your feeling. Xx

MrsMck18 · 22/05/2019 19:12

Afternoon all,

Hoping to join. Got a positive test a week ago yesterday and will be 5 weeks on Friday. Hoping to stay sticky and meet a little one on 24th Jan which will be the due date.

This is baby number 1 so have quite a few nerves and I'm a natural worrier anyway. Had a few little waves of nausea and sore boobs but nothing too drastic.

Really tempted to have an early scan at 9 weeks before I go to France and see if everything is progressing okay as we will tell the parents when out there.

So sorry for all the loses

Marty93 · 22/05/2019 20:19

@fluffyjumper I am the same with the fizzy drinks! Diet Coke has been my saviour. It helps too once it's gone a bit flat (a bit like when you have a sickness bug I guess). So I have a bottle of it next to my bed.... I am hungry but don't know what I fancy and everything makes me feel a bit 🤢 to say the least! I'm just focusing on trying not to dehydrate! X

MummyBearBoo · 23/05/2019 08:30

Don't forget Diet Coke contains caffeine which can be dehydrating tho - hope you both feel better soon / I only have nausea/sickness first thing before 10am and in the evening I have to force myself to eat otherwise I feel worse!! My first I had no sickness, 2nd had it all day so this one is kind of like the mid ground one! Xx

CLRow · 27/05/2019 21:40

Let's have a symptoms update from everyone, curious how we all react differently.
I'm 7+3 and have thankfully lost the massive bloating I had for a couple of weeks (no joke looked 6 months, was so hard to guide from work!) Now hubby is chuffed to bits that boobies have started to get bigger! (I'm not so pleased, riding -I'm taking horses now not the hubby - needs a sports bra! GrinAlso had my first morning sickness over the weekend and dispute having a cold can smell some things way stronger than they can be.
How you girls getting on?
X

Ceb1986 · 27/05/2019 22:01

I got a positive pregnancy test on Friday (and another on Sunday!) and according to various pregnancy calculators, I would be due 29th Jan and am 4 weeks and 5 days! As yet I have no symptoms so am slightly concerned. But trying to stay positive and hoping all goes well. Smile

student26 · 27/05/2019 22:33

Symptoms - so much stretching pain!! Lots round belly button and sides and somee of the lovely stabby feelings down below. I’m 6+6. Had a bit of nausea and have heightened smell.

TheOnlyMrsA · 28/05/2019 10:58

I've been offline for a few days with working etc.

Upto now I'm mega bloated, I'm always ready to eat & god forbid I start to feel hungry because that's when the nausea kicks in. My sense of smell is through the roof and my boobs are dead sore.

I love sleep too.

But other than those things I don't actually feel to bad yet. Xox

MummyBear405 · 28/05/2019 13:03

@WheresAllTheGoodInTheWorld congrats, I'm due on 27th Jan as well! This will be our first!

Congrats to all of you lovely ladies, exciting times ahead! Grin

gabrielle1201 · 01/06/2019 12:41

Jumping on again lol
4th Baba- never felt so sick in my entire life! Does anyone else feel physically sick then force yourself to eat to feel the same an hour after?

I had a MC in March very early tho and got referred for an early scan next Monday @9am.

Should be 8 weeks by then and I'm so anxious about it. I don't have any support bar my partner (family don't approve of having lots of kids)

I don't expect anyone else to look after my children and I feel like it would be nice for my mother or father to congratulate me or even just be happy for me.

When I had the mc my brother told me 'it's probably for the best'.

Hoping to gain some support from you guys at least !

Anyone else due 21st??

X

Hi,

Due 7th Jan (8 weeks plus 4) and it’s our first baby. So far I’ve really struggled with the symptoms, I feel nauseous 24/7 and for the last 2 weeks I’ve been sick a few times a day (it can strike at any time!). Got a cold in top which I’d hoped would make smells less of an issue but for some reason I can still smell through my blocked nose! The fridge is a danger zone even after making the hubby clean it out.

My mum passed away on the 19th May which was unexpected and I hadn’t told her I was pregnant. I’ve been signed off work til the 8th June due to stress / sickness so the beginning of the pregnancy has been a bit awful tbh. My DP is very supportive but emotionally I’m feeling low...I think I’m just in shock and being so ill at the same time is making it worse.

We both wanted children but I got pregnant quite quickly and I think my brain is struggling to catch up as well as grieve. It would be comforting to know there are other mums out there at a similar stage who are also finding being pregnant hard to grasp.

I feel guilty to say it out loud but I’m not very excited right now, I’m so tired and emotionally low that I can’t even seem to think about being a mum for very long before shutting down.

Wow sorry for the rather depressing post...I’m seeing my gp again on Monday so I’ll be sharing it all with a health professional and have had my first midwife appointment (she was lovely thank god).

Xoxo
