I hope it's ok to join! Just had a BFP a couple of days after AF was due for my first baby! Totally shocked, it was our first month trying. No idea what to do next!! Only just got my head round ovulating and all the stuff that goes into conceiving let alone pregnancy!

Due Jan 2020. Anyone else?
hcopp · 19/05/2019 20:39

Oh no, I've just had some bright red bleeding when I went to the loo... It's not like the start of AF, there would usually be more of it... Could I possibly be having a chemical having had such a strong BFP this morning?

Starlight84 · 19/05/2019 21:01

I’m due around 9th Jan. Have booking appointment a week on Tuesday! It still feels odd and like it’s not real. I don’t feel any different. To the point I’m questioning if I’m even pregnant! I did 2 tests and the lines couldn’t have been much stronger but still. It’s so weird! I think I feel like this because I’m going to be so scared to tell anyone xx

Millie2008 · 19/05/2019 23:47

So sorry to hear that hcopp Sad how’re you doing now? Has the bleeding stopped?

Sunshine3105 · 20/05/2019 07:44

Hello ladies....so we stopped being careful after our honeymoon ( got married on 14.7. So similar to some of you here )....took 6 months and on Friday i had the best present ever....I have a birthday in two weeks and it looks like it will arrive two weeks (26.1.2020) after my husband birthday....I still cant believe it is happening

Due Jan 2020. Anyone else?
hcopp · 20/05/2019 07:57

Hi Sunshine - congratulations!! It definitely feels like the July wedding club! Isn't that first BFP so exciting!!

@millie2008 - only a bit of v light brown CM this morning, so hoping it was nothing to worry about. It does seem to be fairly normal to get that bleeding when (TMI, sorry) 'straining'! 😆 Did another IC this morning, and it's getting stronger.

I'm off to work to try and surreptitiously swap my normal tea for decaf!

Have a great day everyone xx

Marty93 · 20/05/2019 11:41

God... is anyone else in their 6th week and feeling utterly CRAP?! Nausea and complete exhaustion.... currently at work thinking .... how the hell am I going to get through 5 more weeks of this in secret?!!

lauraf709 · 20/05/2019 16:37

Hi all, hope its ok to join.

I have 4 year old twins (via IVF) and I'm now 7 weeks pregnant naturally without even trying with #3. Due on 3rd Jan! So grateful to be pregnant but also, lets be honest, what a rubbish birthday haha.

Even though I've never (touch wood) had a miscarriage, its so scary. Anyone else just feel like time is going so SLOW?? I'm just constantly counting the days down. Cannot wait to be over 12 weeks and for everything to be ok. I've had an early scan which is reassuring (seen heartbeat etc.) but its really nerve wracking. Due to having IVF the first time due to high NK cells, I'm back at my old clinic on Wed for another scan, so I guess its good I'm being checked regularly.

Hope everyone is doing well :) x

lauraf709 · 20/05/2019 16:38

Marty93 - I'm also so exhausted! And feel more sick with this one than I did with my twins

Islandermum · 20/05/2019 17:02

I'm due 22nd Jan ish! First pregnancy so full of anxiety but hoping all progresses well! Congratulations to you all xx

Millie2008 · 20/05/2019 17:33

That’s great news hcopp Smile reassuring that the lines are getting darker too

Beck2277 · 20/05/2019 17:43

@Islandermum congratulations! I am in the same boat, just found out and full of anxiety as to what's to come! You told anyone?

Islandermum · 20/05/2019 18:02

@beck2277 I've told my partner (was there when I took the test!) And I ended up having to tell my best friend and sister as I was due to go to a theme park with them this weekend and they bought the tickets as an engagement gift! I felt terrible not going but I have a good excuse 😂 have you told anyone yet? Xx

Beck2277 · 20/05/2019 18:04

@Islandermum only my partner! Might tell my parents soon though but hard to know what to do for the best!

student26 · 20/05/2019 18:04

Hello! Due 14th January, I’m 6weekd tomorrow x

Islandermum · 20/05/2019 18:05

@beck2277 my philosophy is that if I don't tell anyone and something goes wrong, I won't know how to tell people how I'm feeling etc. Each to their own though!

Islandermum · 20/05/2019 18:06

@student26 Congratulations! Is this your first pregnancy?

Napqueen1234 · 20/05/2019 18:10

Hello had BFP this weekend worked out probs due 24th Jan sometime! Feeling absolutely fine and normal other than slightly ‘heavy’ boobs is anyone else feeling completely fine? Makes me feel a bit anxious with my first by this time I was starting to feel a bit queasy! Wishing you all happy health pregnancies SmileFlowersxx

GrandTheftWalrus · 20/05/2019 18:22

Still no period here but still no symptoms whatsoever. But waiting till Friday to test again as I'll be 6 days late by then.

student26 · 20/05/2019 20:05

This is my second pregnancy Islandermum. I’m so excited! I have a two year old daughter x

WheresAllTheGoodInTheWorld · 20/05/2019 20:16

Wow lots of Jan babies.
Hoping my NC worked. I had to change for something else. But tried to go back to mine. If not its me.. Lol.

Had gp today as she said if I fell pg again to see her. She's done a MW referral and blood pressure etc.
She also gave me the form. For free prescription. I doubtb I'll send it till after booking apt as feels weird. Last time I got that at booking apt.
She's requested early scan too to make sure it's in correct place. Due to previous endometriosis. So hopefully hear from that soon too.

Feel a bit queasy in the eves which is weird as with both my other dcs I had no symptoms thro any of the pregnancy. Reckon I'm not gonna get away with it this time around haha.

Hello ladies,
I'm just over 6 weeks after a miscarriage in march. I'm currently putting off going to the gp! (Midwife last time - first ever thought at pregnancy - was awful especially considering I was bleeding at the time!) Anyone else feel like they are showing already? I normally have a fairly flat stomach but really struggling to keep in in check! I've even had to let my belt out a notch 🙈

nespressowoo · 20/05/2019 21:04

Can I join? I'm due end of Jan too. Been TTC for over a year - had a MC last March so very much wanted baby. I'm so anxious worrying but trying to remain calm

Islandermum · 20/05/2019 22:11

@WheresAllTheGoodInTheWorld keeping my fingers crossed for you!

@CLRow I feel terribly bloated at night! Glad I'm not the only one 😂 congrats xx

@nespressowoo there are so many Jan babies! Of course you can join. Huge congrats, hoping for the best for you!

@student26 that's a lovely age gap. How are you feeling? Any symptoms? X

hcopp · 20/05/2019 22:17

So, all the second/third mums out there - any tips for us newbies on how not to freak out right now? I'm been having light cramps literally since about 6dpo and, while plenty of the Internet says that's normal, I'm convinced this is going to end badly... 😥
