I’ve become slightly obsessed by brie. When I chose my lunch it’s although the Brie baguette literally jumps out. I’m also going to France next month on holiday and it’s going to be hard. I’ll make up for it I’m sure through eating pattiserie!

Also being able to buy nice new summer clothes. The shops are full of gorgeous stuff none of which will fit!

NowWeAreSuckingDiesel · 08/05/2019 23:13

Cake*

Cocktails. I'm not even a massive drinker. I might have one drink every couple of months. But a coupe of times lately i could have had and would have had a nice cocktail.

I'm not being overly strict with food. Not as if I'm going to be eating beef taretar every day or sashimi. But on the other hand i don't really feel like eating either now so it's a moot point! And I'd only ever eat either from somewhere i trust, not some random restaurant on a street corner.

I'm not being overly careful with caffeine. I'm not drinking a lot of coke/pepsi anymore though because well... Can't be good for you either way! I do have some decaff at home but it isn't as good as my regular. So i have it a few things but not all.

I don't believe you have to straight up deny thanks everything, but obviously alcohol which is a drug is a no-no for me, especially as I'm a lightweight. It fits right though me in seconds.

whitehalleve · 08/05/2019 23:53

Malbec

Mrsmummy90 · 08/05/2019 23:55

I miss cocktails! I didn't even drink them that often but now that I can't have them, I really really want them!!

Heyha · 09/05/2019 07:28

A lot of you will be pleasantly surprised if you check the NHS food guidelines 🙂 unless you're a pate, uncooked soft cheese and liver kind of girl.

I miss being fit and agile, I can't wait to be able to hop out of bed and put my socks on without even thinking about it 😂 oh and a nice cold beer. It'll be nice to be able to stop bulk buying indigestion remedies as well. Oh and being able to take ibuprofen again!

You rang, @heyha ? Grin

There's a few non alcoholic beers that taste OK actually. Especially if it's been a while since you had one! Erdinger is nice and so is the Heineken. Give the becks blue a miss!

Mrsmummy90 · 09/05/2019 10:15

@NowWeAreSuckingDiesel the non-alcoholic ciders are really nice as well! The rekorderlig ones are my favourite. Unfortunately they don't do them in my favourite flavour 🙈

lelrx · 09/05/2019 10:39

Jeans and normal clothes in general! Medium rare steak, deli meats, just one pornstar martini, and I'm fed up of being designated driver if my husband wants a drink with his meal etc but I only have 2 and a bit weeks left and I need a holiday!!!

But... I love to feel her wriggle and I love that I know she's safe, I just can't wait to meet her and kiss her little head, that's what's keeping me going ❤️

RedWineAllMine · 09/05/2019 10:45

I missed Salami and red wine! I substituted the red wine with non alcoholic red wine. As I love a glass on an evening. Now my baby is here I am in salami & real red wine heaven WineGrin

LaurenSarah22 · 09/05/2019 10:45

Sex 😂

RedWineAllMine · 09/05/2019 10:46

And my jeans, must mention my jeans! I lived in maternity leggings as they are so comfortable, but didn't keep my legs as warm in the winter.

SunStruck · 09/05/2019 10:46

I thought it would be wine... red wine with dinners, rose in the sun... and medium rare steak.

Never thought I'd never miss anything edible because I feel so incredibly sick all the time 😅🤢

faelavie · 09/05/2019 12:03

Rollerskating and roller derby..... It's pretty much my life and the only exercise I enjoy, I spent many hours a week doing it. Told to stop due to risk of falling, I obliged for safety's sake, but god I'm really suffering without it. Probably sounds mental to someone that doesn't have a life-encompassing hobby I know.

Food wise - Soft, unpasteurised cheeses like Brie and Camembert!
Glad to know it's not just me! Also wondering if the risks really are that bad.

I haven't really missed alcohol much at all as I'm not a big drinker, however I usually have huge glasses of iced cider slushies in the summer so I'll miss that this year.

faelavie · 09/05/2019 12:05

Oh and I forgot about ibuprofen!

Sandrine1982 · 09/05/2019 12:17

Wine, beer, prosecco, running, occasional sleeping pill.

youngfreeandnotsingle · 09/05/2019 12:26

A cocktail or a nice fruity cider. I'm not a massive drinker but have been fancying a drink on a weekend since I found out I was pregnant!

Rare steak, pate... I'm due towards end of November so timed it well for pate!! I can't wait

Seriously79 · 09/05/2019 12:50

Wine! A nice cold Pinot on a hot day 😋

Sleeping on my front, or back - haven't had a decent nights sleep for months now.

Sex - rough, passionate sex that goes on for ages, makes me scream! I'm so big and uncomfortable now we are limited to spooning, which is nice, but I'm missing our previous active sex life x

sarebear1983 · 09/05/2019 13:18

Medium rare steak but most of all pate! I'm already thinking about taking it to the hospital for after the labour and I'm only 4 months gone haha

RedWineAllMine · 09/05/2019 15:32

Tobebythesea you're allowed smelly blue cheese, if it's the Stilton you're on about? That's fine to have

Ispywithmycynicaleye · 09/05/2019 15:36

I want night nurse 🤒

To be able to sit down for more than 5 minutes and get a nights sleep without restless legs!

I miss a cold Jim Beam. Plus I won a lovely bottle of white wine at a family xmas party which i am trying to persuade DP to smuggle into hospital for me for after the morphine has worn off 😏

I miss haggis with my cooked breakfast.

I miss not having to worry about an astounding amount of medication just to get me to the end of my pregnancy!

RedWineAllMine · 09/05/2019 15:36

I also missed sleeping on my back, and missed not having to roll off the bed like a beach whale. There is a knack to successfully rolling out bed when pregnant, I'm sure some of you will agree. My partner used to laugh because I failed a couple of times! It's all things like this that we take for granted when not being pregnant.

RedWineAllMine · 09/05/2019 15:38
