I’ve become slightly obsessed by brie. When I chose my lunch it’s although the Brie baguette literally jumps out. I’m also going to France next month on holiday and it’s going to be hard. I’ll make up for it I’m sure through eating pattiserie!

Also being able to buy nice new summer clothes. The shops are full of gorgeous stuff none of which will fit!

Blue steak. I haven't eaten steak cooked anything more than rare for years. My husband's an ex-chef whose last two kitchen jobs were high-end steak restaurants. It's starting to get into BBQ season. I am distraught.

Also red wine, not feeling vomity, sleeping on my front.

ClaireUnderwoodforPresident · 07/05/2019 18:49

Rare steak, Italian deli meats, soft cheeses, pate, RED WINE..! Grin

melissa1215 · 07/05/2019 19:18

@DeadDoorpost I honesty didn't know I could have Brie if it's cooked

NowWeAreSuckingDiesel · 07/05/2019 19:29

You can have cooked shellfish and prawns angel and Melissa.

I just missed feeling normal. I felt generally under the weather every day when I was pregnant, I hated it!

Cantthinkofausername1990 · 07/05/2019 20:06

Being able to carry my five year old. And he's grown so much in the last 8 months that even when this baby arrives, he will probably be too heavy for me to life ever again.
Wearing nice shoes with laces or zips! I can only wear slip ons now as I can't bend down to reach laces or zips

DieselSucker · 08/05/2019 09:28

Not feeling nauseous all the time. It's sucking the life out of me Sad

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 08/05/2019 09:31

Sexy mouldy cheese with a nice Malbec

Liver, bacon and onions

Pate on a big crunchy baguette

Clothes that I can rely on to fit me

Nice undies

Running

xJune88 · 08/05/2019 09:33

Rare steak and caffeine when I’m tired in work.

Gustavo1 · 08/05/2019 14:46

Seeing 9pm in the evening! So tired 💤

IHaveNoIdeaReally · 08/05/2019 14:54

Blue cheese and walking upstairs without huffing snd puffing.

NowWeAreSuckingDiesel · 08/05/2019 16:33

You can have caffeine Gabby

Furble · 08/05/2019 16:41

I’m mostly missing a full nights comfortable sleep. And pate!

DulcieRay · 08/05/2019 20:03

Tidying my bikini line and painting my toe nails
Aerobics, running, yoga

DulcieRay · 08/05/2019 20:03

Sleeping face down flat on my stomach

Dyra · 08/05/2019 20:17

Sleeping on my stomach.
Pate
Pineapple upside down cake
Rare steak
White wine

Newyearsameoldshit · 08/05/2019 20:45

Sleeping through without waking for a wee x3.
All the food mentioned above.
Today I really fancied a cigarette - haven't smoked since I was a teenager! Confused

Xyzzzzz · 08/05/2019 20:54

Sleeping without waking to wee! I can’t remember what that was like lol

iloveewanthedreamsheep · 08/05/2019 20:58

Wine. Last time I couldn’t stand the idea of alcohol but this time I really miss it!

TheCraicDealer · 08/05/2019 20:58

Soft cheeses- although I have had some baked-til-bubbling Camembert so can't feel too sorry for myself. Also have some Stilton in the fridge I'm saving for a bad day since I found out I could have that Grin

Wine. Not a big drinker but the odd glass of Riesling or sparking rose does appeal on a Saturday evening. Last time I tried a glass of wine I was heaving at the sink after.

Rare steak.

I'm going to France next month and I can't put into words how annoyed I am about the fact I can't have steak tartar, soft cheese, pate or go on wine tastings. I thought the French would be all chill and laissez faire about pregnant women drinking and eating cheese and rare meat- nope. Apparently they actually take an even harder line on it all.

Teddyreddy · 08/05/2019 21:02

I miss being able to bend forwards to.pick stuff up, not feeling nauseous all the time, and being able to get comfortable at night.

I've so had enough of being pregnant and based on the last two pregnancies I have another 15 weeks to go....

Piplette · 08/05/2019 21:16

Jack D and diet coke!

Having energy and not feeling nauseous all the time!

Being able to enjoy food without worrying what it's going to taste like on the way back up!

Thankfully I'm not a cheese or pate fan. Last pregnancy I had a few medium/rare steaks with no issue - didn't realize it wasn't allowed 🙊

ELM8 · 08/05/2019 22:31

More of the same...

Not worrying
Pâté
A nice cold white wine
Rare steak
Being able to plan dinners etc - can't do that at the minute as I'll either be ravenous for beige, feeling too sick to eat or somewhere in the middle

I haven't given up my Diet Coke habit though, however I am keeping under 200mg of caffeine (which is actually quite a lot of Diet Coke!!)

Thismummyruns · 08/05/2019 22:59

I must be the only one who hasn't given up anything!

I don't drink alcohol anyway but I've certainly not restricted food especially Camembert & Brie!
