I’ve become slightly obsessed by brie. When I chose my lunch it’s although the Brie baguette literally jumps out. I’m also going to France next month on holiday and it’s going to be hard. I’ll make up for it I’m sure through eating pattiserie!

Also being able to buy nice new summer clothes. The shops are full of gorgeous stuff none of which will fit!

Octonought - funnily enough it's the other way round for me. Missed it loads first time, not fussed at all this time!

bellsbuss · 07/05/2019 12:33

Alcohol and pate. During one pregnancy it was runny eggs but the guilde lines changed so I could have them with my last pregnancy.

PeanutButterIsOneWord · 07/05/2019 12:37

Meat that's pink in the middle. Well done steak isn't worth it.

LeslieYep · 07/05/2019 12:38

I hate not being able to move the way I want. Sleep in more than 2 positions - left or right side.

I want to be physically active again and do stuff around the house and with my toddler, but I'm too tired/big to do it. It's frustrating and I can't wait to meet this baby!! 7 weeks to go!

managedmis · 07/05/2019 12:40

Cawfee

Elliesmommy · 07/05/2019 12:42

Red wine and cigarettes

TwittleBee · 07/05/2019 12:44

A proper coffee ( to the PP you said we can still have coffee, sure we can still have it but I cant drink it without being sick...)

I do also really miss having a drink. It didnt bother me much previous pregnancies but this time I just really miss being able to have a G&T, especially at recent BBQs.

ChristinaMarlowe · 07/05/2019 12:44

Ibuprofen! Oh oh my back and hips miss bloody ibuprofen. I take 30/500 co-codamol if the pain is really bad (broke my back ten years ago and the bottom vertebrae are crushed), nothing works as good as NSAIDS. That and rare steak... Sigh. 8 weeks-ish to go...

DuggeesWoggle · 07/05/2019 12:44

Wine. Big fat glasses of wine. I will fess up and say I've had the odd thimbleful (never more than a unit's worth, probably half that) and it's great to have a taste but I have really been craving a proper glass - especially over that hot Easter weekend! A cold crisp glass of white wine would be bliss.

Decent strong coffee. Decaff ground is ok but I miss real coffee.

Not getting heartburn from everything and that's only just kicked in over the last few weeks. I'm only 22 weeks so ages to go yet Sad.

I miss being able to just go and buy clothes. Maternity clothes are expensive and don't fit well, and that's if you can even find any in shops .

I miss being slimmer. Feel like a fat blob at the mo, I am not one of these women who just gain a bump and stay the same everywhere else, I put on all over.

But mainly wine. Not even a big drinker, just the idea of it really.

If you freeze your steak then defrost and cook you can have it rare.

kgeal3 · 07/05/2019 13:22

Prosecco!!!

Kathryn19 · 07/05/2019 13:30

A good night's sleep! Which won't be coming back post baby anyway...
And a really nice gin.

NotSoThinLizzy · 07/05/2019 13:30

Fish! Absolutely love fish but can't stand the smell or taste just now

SpreadsheetQueen · 07/05/2019 13:33

Having the energy to do things
Not feeling sick all the time
Being able to drink tea and coffee without being sick
My normal clothes

Will all be worth it in the end...

PrayingandHoping · 07/05/2019 13:34

@MyDcAreMarvel oh really? I haven't read that anywhere. How did u find that out?

DianaBlythe · 07/05/2019 13:39

Sleeping on my front

Sleeping with DH - I’m just so enormous and fidgety I need more space than our double. And because I sleep lighter his snoring disturbs me.

Proper hugs with DH. I feel like I can’t get close enough because of the bump!

Wine

Aimily · 07/05/2019 13:39

I've never been a big drinker, but I've been so overwhelmed with emotion this past week, I just want a big glass of red wine...

JenMumma · 07/05/2019 13:45

Sleep, energy, emotional stability and spot free skin. I'm still eating and drinking what I want. Xx

MyDcAreMarvel · 07/05/2019 13:50

@PrayingandHoping my midwife told me, she said two things had changed since my last pregnancy- runny eggs being ok if lion mark, and rare steak ok if frozen first.

PrayingandHoping · 07/05/2019 13:51

@MyDcAreMarvel best news I've heard all day 😂

Mikewazowskismrs · 07/05/2019 13:57

Sleeping on my tummy, being able to roll over in bed without feeling like a crane needs to lift me, sleeping without having to get up for the toilet 4 times a night.

Bit of a theme going on !

Not missing alcohol as such but really looking forward to a passion fruit rekorderlig in the sunshine in a few weeks time Grin

cja06 · 07/05/2019 13:57

Cuddles. I'm so big I can barely get near my husband these days!

octonoughtcake3 · 07/05/2019 14:06

I forgot having a decent wee.

I’m six months pregnant and cuddling my just turned 3 year old is starting difficulty, she a size of average 4 year old. Last night all three of us ended up her small double bed. That was cosy!

SurreyisSunny · 07/05/2019 14:12

Ooh I want pate now too!

I had Stilton for lunch, was nice but doesn’t hit the spot.

In the third trimester I really missed being able to put on my own shoes! Tried to wear flip flops and slip ons as much as poss but otherwise my fiancé had to help me! I appreciated the help but just wished I could do it myself!
