Gosh this pregnancy has caused me worry from the beginning! Had spotting on and off thoughout. Have had a scan today at 10 weeks showing baby moving and strong heartbeat. Still losing light red blood when I wipe which is making me so stressed! Has anyone just had bleeding in pregnancy that turned out fine? I'm researching like crazy and just can't get myself to think positive!

Would LOVE some positive stories please!

Thanks ladies Star

Hiya! Sorry you're having this trouble.

I had quite a bit of fresh bloody week 8/9 (can't remember exactly. It was like a lot and I feared the worst. Had to go for an early scan and there she was all tiny and active.

Currently sitting getting attention off DP and loving it.

Welcome to worry hood 😜

We get lots and lots of women through our emergency clinic who had had bleeding. Some are tragic, but many many are completely fine and go onto having lovely healthy babies. Bleeding in early pregnancy happens much more than people think! I know it's so so hard not to worry, I'm preg myself and I would be scared even though I know it can be completely normal!

I had bleeding 6/8/11 weeks all fine with baby

Massive bleed 14 weeks (literally gushing out of me while I was at work the floor was ruined) baby was again totally fine

Bleed pretty much every week from 18 weeks onwards. He's currently 10 Months having a nap on me

Yes twice with two pg

A lot of bleeding and all was ok

I've had a lot of bleeds during this pregnancy. It's my fourth and I never had any with my other three. My midwife did point out I had a colonoscopy after baby three so the cervix may be tender now I'm pregnant again. I've had so many tearful scary moments where I was sure this pregnancy was ending but fingers crossed all is well, I'm now 15 weeks and feeling baby and finding the heartbeat on a Doppler regularly. Bleeding in pregnancy is so worrying but it doesn't always end in a loss. All the best with your pregnancy and I hope it makes you feel a bit better seeing others have had it and been ok xx

LOTS of bleeding, was hospitalised at 17 weeks. All fine! Healthy happy dd.

Propertywoes · 27/04/2019 16:12

I had a bleed at 8 weeks. Scan showed twins who are fine and healthy toddlers now.

TeenTitans · 27/04/2019 16:14

Madmarchpear · 27/04/2019 16:15

Bled quite a bit with both of mine at around 7-12 weeks. Convinced myself I was losing them but went on to have drama free pregnancies, births and healthy girls.

I bled a lot during my first pregnancy. From 10 weeks up until a large bleed at 30 weeks. Dd is now 17 Smile

I had a low lying placenta which I was monitored extensively for but everything turned out ok. No bleeding in the next two pregnancies either

I bled early on in my pregnancy, went for a scan and everything was fine but I had a small bleed in my uterus which resolved itself.

All was fine, currently sat with my 3 month old.

ballsdeep · 27/04/2019 16:55

I bled loafs and now have a happy and healthy 8 year old. I started spotting brown at 7ish weeks all the way to 12 weeks then had a huge cleed with clots, filling pads etc at 14 weeks and I thought that's it.
I went for a scan and the baby was there and it looked like he was waving 😂👋 it's so common I pregnancy, although it is so so worrying too. Fingers crossed for u xxx

ballsdeep · 27/04/2019 16:55

Loads not loaves 🙄

SecretLimonadeDrinker · 27/04/2019 17:04

I had bleeds during both pregnancies and have two happy boys now. Smile it's so scary but more common than people realise x

theconstantinoplegardener · 27/04/2019 17:08

I had bleeding in all three pregnancies, resulting in hospital admissions and lots of extra scans with the first one (they were more relaxed with the subsequent two, figuring that this is just what my body does). No particular reason was ever found for the bleeding, apart from a possible uterine polyp on one occasion, and my three healthy children are now all of primary school age and currently playing very loudly!

xJune88 · 27/04/2019 17:41

I bled since 7 weeks through to 17 weeks with gigantic clots and after 2 losses I was positive baby was gone. I'm now 38 weeks and shes wriggling around x

Skittle1 · 27/04/2019 17:41

This is so reassuring thank you so much X just got to get through the next couple of weeks before 13 wk scan!

I bleed though out my last to pregnancy's and I'm currently 8 weeks 6 days and haven't bleed this time I'm more worried now as it was fine with my other 2 haha

Marmite27 · 27/04/2019 18:47

10 weeks, I had a massive bleed. And I mean had to send the staff at TGI’s flowers and chocolates to apologise.

She was 1 at the beginning of the month. Flowers

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 27/04/2019 19:09

I had a brown bleed at 8 weeks. Scan showed baby was fine, heart beat etc.

Had a bit bleed at 10 weeks. So if tmi but blood pissing out of me, a couple of tiny clots.. Really thought that was it. Scan showed everything was fine. Bleed wasn't coming from anywhere near the baby.

Currently 29+5. Haven't had any bleeding since 10 weeks.

Skittle1 · 28/04/2019 13:09

Thanks so much everyone for taking the time to answer me. I will keep you updated. It has slowed down for now. Calling midwife tomorrow to hopefully be seen! Just trying to rest and stay positive. Thanks everyone 💖

Yes significant bleeds at 6 and 10 weeks. Terrified as had had 3 MCs prior. Bleeding stopped and DD2 arrived completely fine.

flumpybear · 28/04/2019 13:22

Yes I had a huge bleed at 12 weeks - obstetrician said come in and be scanned - baby was fine, she said half and half ok or miscarriage but as she saw heartbeat she was reassured that it was a bleed but baby ok. She was and she's now 10 😎
Good luck and enjoy your baby when he or she arrives 🥰
