Oh it feels like such a long wait till the first scan. I have mine between 6 and 7 weeks.
I had a mc in Jan around the 7 week mark so I’m praying all will be ok. I feel once I get past that point I’ll relax majorly. Although last time I didn’t get many symptoms and I knew from that that something might be up. This time I’m exhausted, I’m peeing loads and my boobs are sore in the evening. So I’m definitely more optimistic. I’m still waiting for the nausea to hit. Of course when it does I’ll be moaning about it but until it does kick in I’ll remain a little nervous. And

Eliza9919 · 30/04/2019 21:34

@SguigglyOne I haven't, I was going to book for this sat, so 6+0 but I think I'll wait another week to make sure we see/hear something.

The waiting is killing me though.

At least I can occupy myself with wedding stuff.

SquigglyOne · 30/04/2019 21:41

Yeah I really need to find something to distract myself with!!

SquigglyOne · 01/05/2019 07:54

Good morning ladies ☀️☀️
Anyone else getting out of breath really easily / just walking up the stairs is an effort atm!! Xxx

AysLon · 01/05/2019 08:44

@SquigglyOne yes! Walking up the stairs makes me heart race now. This is mad! What other symptoms do you have? I am 5+2 and sore boobs and out of breath when moving quickly.

Eliza9919 · 01/05/2019 08:52

I feel like I need a lie down after walking up the stairs!

OP posts:
SquigglyOne · 01/05/2019 13:23

@AysLon my symptoms really aren’t that bad atm - I am only 4+2 though!
So I’m getting out of breath easily and have massive sore boobs. Also really tired and felt a bit nauseous a couple of evenings.
Xxx

Eliza9919 · 01/05/2019 14:38

Word of warning, don't drink lemonade, I had a bottle of 7up with my lunch and the bloating now is horrendous!!

Can I hop on here?! I'm six weeks exactly today, and we've been TTC for three years! Some of these comments and symptoms are describing me exactly, it's such a relief to know you guys are in the same boat. Really hoping for healthy winter babies for all of us Star xx

Mum637k · 01/05/2019 17:16

Hi ladies, anyone else experiencing cramps/pains/aches? Every few days I have a rather dull mild ache towards what I think might my be my left ovary. Do you think it's anything to worry about?

SquigglyOne · 01/05/2019 18:19

Hello @aliensprig 👋

@Mum637k me! A couple of times the cramps have been bad enough to make me worry something is going wrong - they normally improve when I change position or stand up

Xxx

AysLon · 01/05/2019 19:43

@Mum637k Definitely, i got a left ovary sharp cramp today while I was waiting for a lift. Lasted max 10 seconds. Wonder what these are!

Eliza9919 · 01/05/2019 19:45

Welcome @AlienSprig we were ttc for 3yrs too. I had given up thinking it would ever happen but then it took on my second round of clomid. And first time using pre-seed!

I have an ache in my ovary, I think it's to do with the corpus luteum doing whatever it does.

The worst cramps I've had have been when I've gone to sit and I've got a pain right across the lower abdomen.

Is anyone exercising? Ive been too tired so far but it's a bit better atm when I get home so I'm thinking of starting swimming again. Only thing with that is, it makes the colour fade really quickly in my hair and I dont know whether home box dues are safe, I always thought you couldn't dye your hair if pg. I'm not happy to walk around with grey bits.

Bubblebubble123 · 01/05/2019 20:33

Yes I’ve been having a lot of cramps/aches too. It mainly feels like things are stretching out a bit in there!! Maybe that’s in my head!! I don’t remember this with my first tho!
Lastnight I got a pain in the middle of the night which actually woke me up!! I was definitely a bit worried after.
Eliza I’m not sure about the home dyes. I heard it’s okay to dye your hair once it doesn’t touch your skin so I’ve had highlights done in the past as the bleach can’t touch skin. Prob best ask your doctor at the first appointment

SuperSarah · 01/05/2019 20:40

Hi everyone!

Is it okay if I join the party? I got my BFP on Monday (29th) so just made the April bus by the skin of my teeth. It's been 10 years since I had my first so feeling quite nervous.

I am also having all sorts of cramps and twinges. However, not feeling nauseated yet (more hungry if anything) and my breast tenderness seems to have lessened. Has anyone else found this? My breast tenderness subsided about a week ago and I was so sure it meant AF was coming, but then I got the BFP Confused

Mum637k · 01/05/2019 21:30

@Eliza9919 I am exercising but I just walk on the treadmill really😄Not sure about hair dyes, I also heard not to use them while pregnant but probably best to check with a doctor.

Eliza9919 · 01/05/2019 21:44

Welcome @SuperSarah

@Mum637k I can't get anyone to talk to me, the midwives won't respond as it's too early and the GP's don't want to know 😂

OP posts:
Mum637k · 01/05/2019 21:48

@Eliza9919 well this might be tough but you may need to hang in there with grey hairs until you can see a midwife. your glow will take the attention off of them anyway 😂

Eliza9919 · 01/05/2019 23:22

Lol I'm going to research henna dye tomorrow, and see whether that's safe.

OP posts:
Mum637k · 02/05/2019 07:43

@Eliza9919 oh yes that's a good idea, I think that is supposed to be safe

aliensprig · 02/05/2019 08:40

@Eliza9919 I'm too tired and breathless to exercise, at six weeks +1 Sad I do a lot of walking though (can't drive) so maybe that counts? Good call on the henna dye BTW, my greys are out of control. I found some Herbatint in a health food shop that looked promising, so might give that a go (aka: my husband will give it a go for me hehe, I always miss bits).

I think yoga is supposed to be a good call for exercising in pregnancy, but what if all you want to do is slob on the sofa and binge Brooklyn 99...

Eliza9919 · 02/05/2019 08:48

I heard some yoga moves aren't supposed to be done in pregnancy. My gym does yoga and pilates. I reckon I could manage a class in the day atm if I didn't have to work Hmm Grin I'm not sure about after work. I think I'll try next week.

I've been a bit worried about lack of symptoms so did a pound shop test this morning, which took a while to come up so I did an Internet cheapie and all good.
