@SquigglyOne I'm with you. The tissue check is a reflex now but the anxiety of a previous loss definitely tips the balance of excitement to being so nervous that it may happen again. For that reason I haven't told anyone yet at 4+6. I'm seeing my best friend back end of next week so will likely tell her then as her support has always been amazing. Everyone else I may wait a little longer until I have more symptoms... I'm playing it by ear. I have had to tell some senior members of staff at work simply to keep me safe as I handle some drugs that can be dangerous/can get in some dangerous situations.

What apps has everyone got? I'm really enjoying the pregnancy version of Glow which is called Nature. They give daily development snippets.

So unbelievably pleased to see stronger lines and 2-3 on a digital. I need to stop testing! 🙈

@MamaGeordie Wonderful news!

SquigglyOne · 27/04/2019 19:20

@MamaGeordie when the test line is stronger than the control 👍👍

Mum637k · 27/04/2019 19:30

@ELJ1502 @ducksandacorns @SquigglyOne @MamaGeordie I have told my best friend and that is it. We decided to tell everyone else after the 12 wk scan, all being good. It is reaaally hard to keep this secret, I would love to share the good news with family and friends but God forbid something goes wrong again my family would handle it worse than me. Which of course is not fair to me but what can you do 🤷‍♀️

SquigglyOne · 27/04/2019 23:16

@Eliza9919 how was dress shopping? Did you find the one?! 😃😃

@Mum637k bloody families! I’m not being funny but sometimes they are the least helpful people to talk to! It’s good you have your friend you can confide in
Xxx

MamaGeordie · 28/04/2019 00:46

Thanks everyone! I was absolutely buzzing to see the lines swap in strength. My partner looked more excited than scared for the first time since finding out too Smile

I'm yet to tell another soul. I tried to build up the courage to tell my sister earlier but like you, I feel if something happened it would be too upsetting for her.

Eliza9919 · 28/04/2019 15:40

I did find a dress yesterday! Sorry I've had no phone reception. I'm very limited in what I can choose as it's got to be off the peg plus able to have a lace-up back put in.

I've chosen one and will pay for it on Wednesday.

I know what you all mean about the blood check. I steel myself everytime I have a wee. Can't wait to get to 12 weeks. I think I am going to book a 6 week scan for next week.

My test came today. ❤️ This is at 6 weeks today.

👏👏👏 all going the right way @ELJ1502. I'm going to do another one next week, I'll be 6 weeks exactly then.

Lovely to see 3+ and also great news to see you've found a wedding dress. Happy Sunday!

Eliza9919 · 29/04/2019 09:33

I didn't find a dress, I decided its too expensive for a 'just nice enough' dress. or he nicest of the few I could try on. Its not the original dress I wanted so any dress now is just a make do dress so I'm looking now at cheaper options. I can have one made to my design for half the price.

Anyone else having problems with their stomach/ bowels. Whenever I eat I get such intense cramping feel like I need to loo (sorry tmi) and can’t go. This progesterone, constipation stuff is pretty intense!! I’m trying to have green smoothies to top up my veggie intake but the pain is quite bad 😐

Eliza9919 · 29/04/2019 15:11

I've got the opposite problem today Hmm

I'm feeling more faint today. I thought I'd give the treadmill at the gym a go. I managed 10mins of slow jogging before I reduced to walking fast! I used to do ParkRuns of 34mins. I was worried about overheating.

SquigglyOne · 29/04/2019 19:13

Anyone know what it can mean if your hcg levels are high? I’m 4 weeks today and already had a 2-3 weeks on digi last week (though the sample was pretty concentrated Blush) and just done this frer today where the test is darker than the control.
Anything to worry about? Xxx

No! That's a good sign from what I've read.

I thought my symptoms had disappeared but came over queasy when I got in and now dizzy.

ELJ1502 · 29/04/2019 19:27

@SqigglyOne that's a brilliant line!

@Eliza9919 my symptoms have came back hard today. I spent most of the morning unable to eat and ready to be sick. I ended up telling my head of department because I was so ill.

Eliza9919 · 29/04/2019 19:43

@ELJ1502 Mine come in the afternoon & evening atm. I seem to be ok in the morning, except for tiredness.

Hows everyone feeling today? I feel ok so far, but then I normally feel worse later on.

Welcome @Bubblebubble123 👋

@Eliza9919 I’m similar to you, feel okay during the day then start to feel pretty rough in the evenings. This evening I feel really tired and keep noticing little tummy cramps. I’ve been having small cramps on and off since before my bfp. My boobs are also massive - which DH is particularly happy about 😂. Some days they really hurt and others like today aren’t too bad

Xxxx

Eliza9919 · 30/04/2019 21:14

Mine are really sore today. Even my seatbelt was hurting them and it hurt if I reached across them when steering.

I started googling maternity leggings and bras today Grin

@Eliza9919 have you booked your early scan yet.
I wanted to do mine between 6-7 weeks but they didn’t have any availability so I’m having to wait until I’m nearly 8 weeks - seems like a life time away 😩😩
