5 days late BFN anyone experienced this and been pregnant?

As the title says I’m 5 days late and been testing from the day of missed period. I’ve tested 3 times on day of missed period, 3 days late and 4 days late, all BFN. I’m now 5 days late and I can’t bring myself to test again as I’m dreading seeing another BFN. My partner and I have been ttc for almost a year and for the last few cycles we have taken a step back from charting and using opks. I usually ovulate late and my periods are very regular 28 day cycle. I’ve had constant Lower back ache for about a week and have some mild aches at the top of my vagina. My cervix is high and soft but changes throughout the day it remains soft but appears lower at times sorry for the tmi!! Just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this and later gone on to get a BFP? When did you test and get your BFP?? Any info would be helpful thank you for listening.

I didn't get my first positive until 7 days after my LMP! Can feel like a lifetime and I'd convinced myself I wasn't pregnant but I was never late usually! I used 3 different brands to confirm😂

Oh really that’s very reassuring thank you 🙂 did you have any symptoms? I keep feeling like AF is going to show! I’ve got lower back pain and some mild aching cramps I’m never late usually so hopefully it’s a good sign.

I didn't have a positive with my first until over a week after my period was due with my first. Had done several tests, only did another as was going to doc app to discuss it and knew they'd ask if I had done a recent one - to my surprise it was positive! She was actually a bit of a late bloomer. Ended up having early scans and blood tests as HCG wasn't doubling as it should. Was actually told to expect to miscarry. But didn't! She's now 7!

Which tests are you using? I only ask as I'm in the same boat. Exactly the same to the day haha. I tested with first response on day 5 late which was negative and I thought those ones come up positive even if ) days before missed period so not sure what to think. Now 6 days late so dunno weather to test again? Everything crossed for you x

Wow! Thank you so much that’s very reassuring everyone. I have read a lot of woman don’t get their BFP untill a week after AF due. I’m using pound cheapies all we’re different and clear BFN! I’ve not tested since 3 days late so I’m going to wait and see if I come on by Wednesday il be 9 days late then and going to buy a FRER. I am having a lot of lower back pain but I’ve noticed it’s only in the mornings, soon as I’m up and about it goes! Last night I had some shooting pains at the top of my vagina! Did any of you have this?? I really do think AF is going show it’s so frustrating! Thank you for all your comments I appreciate it.

I've got zero symptoms. But the. I didn't with my little girl either. I think I'll wait a few days because I hate seeing a negative. 🤞🏾

I didn't get a clear BFP this pregnancy until I was almost a week late, and even that was using a FRER. I'd been getting BFNs with the supermarket cheapies.

BFN until I was 7 days late. He’s 2 now!

Oh wow I Keep hearing that a lot I’m going to wait a couple of days an test again. I was 3 days late last time I tested and now I’m 6 days late! Just can’t bring myslef to see another BFN! DoubtOfTheOrdinary did you have any symptoms during that week? I feel like AF is going to show but nothing? I’ve read this is normal for some women. X

Pinkey25 I just had slightly sore boobs, but assumed that was because AF was on her way (even though that's not a normal PMS symptom for me). Possibly some slightly increased discharge (sorry tmi), or that might have come slightly later, I don't remember exactly.

I was going through quite a bit of stress at the time so I don’t really remember. I felt really tired and bloated I think?

I am in the same boat! 4 days late and 3 bfns, one frer and two first response dip strip ones. I don’t have any symptoms but I didn’t the first time round until about 4 weeks in.

Don't remember having any symptoms at all! Wasn't really looking for them though, it was all a bit of a surprise!! I have however, had two fairly symptom free pregnancies, only when I was well into it did I start experiencing the odd thing (hip pain, stiff fingers etc). Never really got sick or anything. No sore boobs etc.

Oh and it was Asda cheapy dip stick things that gave me the positive in the end! Had tried all sorts. I'm actually trying to decide if I was 2 weeks late before my positive 🤔 between one and two anyhow!

I tested with a clear blue digi 5 days late and it showed not pregnant. I was ready to book a drs appt to see what was happening and my sister convinced me to do another, she got me some cheapies from Poundland and they both showed a faint line which was 8 days late!

Thanks for all your comments I’m feeling a bit more positive now! 🙈 I’ve had sore back all day and some mild cramps. Still no AF! I’m 6 days late today and I have a £1 cheapie in the draw I’m debating weather I should test tonight as I haven’t done one since 3 days late but I can’t bear the thought of another BFN! I’m starting a new job in the morning 5am start so I don’t want to test in the morning! what do you guys think, should I hold off a bit longer or test tonight? X

It’s horrible isn’t it just want a BFP or AF to show so can carry on next month! Fingers crossed for you! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 X

My first I must of ovulated late. I was 10 days 'late'. At my 12 week I was just over 10 weeks.

I always ovulate late well later than what’s supposed to be normal! I’m loosing the will to live! Just got another BFN! 🙈🙈🙈😭
