5 days late BFN anyone experienced this and been pregnant?

As the title says I’m 5 days late and been testing from the day of missed period. I’ve tested 3 times on day of missed period, 3 days late and 4 days late, all BFN. I’m now 5 days late and I can’t bring myself to test again as I’m dreading seeing another BFN. My partner and I have been ttc for almost a year and for the last few cycles we have taken a step back from charting and using opks. I usually ovulate late and my periods are very regular 28 day cycle. I’ve had constant Lower back ache for about a week and have some mild aches at the top of my vagina. My cervix is high and soft but changes throughout the day it remains soft but appears lower at times sorry for the tmi!! Just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced this and later gone on to get a BFP? When did you test and get your BFP?? Any info would be helpful thank you for listening.

My cycle was as regular as clockwork so when I was late I knew I was pregnant. I had 6 BFNs before I finally got my BFP after a week. I'd not long had an early miscarriage so was desperate to be pregnant again. He's 6 now and a very cheeky scamp!

Yes I tested last night and this morning BFN!! AF still not here I’m a week late today!

This has happened to me a handful of times and I wasn’t pregnant every single time. A couple of times my body just skipped a whole months period, no idea why. All sorts of things can prevent a period. I would think any test would show a BFP when you’re a week late.

I’ve never been late before I’m regular as clockwork that’s why I’m worried. A lot of people don’t get their BFP untill a week after there AF. I have spoken to my doctor over the phone and she has said to test again at 2 weeks late then we can go from there. Has anyone experienced this with their doctor? Not sure what to think. 🤯

I'm 6days late ATM. Don't have to most reliable cycles but this is day 34, latest ever has been 33.
Have 3 children, youngest is 11months. Had an early miscarriage just before we conceived baby 3.
We are using condoms, had decided to look down the vasectomy route as 3 children is a houseful. As much as I love babies, we don't really have room for another, plus time, money, etc etc.
But two negative tests have made me think... what if!?
Nausea, funny appetite, emotional, tired. Who knows. Not going to test again till sat or sun.
Hate this in between feeling!!

Being asked to test again at two weeks is unusual I think, surely they would send you for a blood test.

@speakfriendandenter I’m one of four and baby number four definitely pushed the finances for my parents. However as the baby of the family, she’s very loved and spiked. We stared rooms (3 bed house) until I was 12 and parents could afford to extend.

Just wanted to update.... I got my BFP yesterday!!! 11 days late. Took 4 different branded tests to be sure. 😂 Can’t believe it. Still not sinking in X x

My period started yesterday. I was disappointed at first, but now I feel much better. Enjoying spending time with my 3 gorgeous children.

I just started trying again last month, I’m now 4 days late( not including the day I was supposed to get my period) I started testing on day 11 after ovulation. Not everyday but a lot 🙄🙄 tested again today and it’s still negative with first response. I’m never late and I’m afraid something is wrong. With my daughter I knew I was pregnant immediately. My boobs swelled, I swear the minute of conception. Now nothing. I also had crazy morning sickness with my daughter started very early and lasting the whole pregnancy and now also nothing. I had cramps right before I thought I was going to get my period.
Have an appointment at the gyno tomorrow. Wish me luck. Also, for anyone that was super late but wasn’t pregnant, how did u move forward tracking ovulation the next month???

OP - great thread glad you got ur BFP - wondering did your dates still match up? Or where you less along at your appointments ?

Sorry for jumping on this post but I am in a similar situation & looking for advice.

My period is currently 5 days late, 1 week after ovulation I experienced light spotting for 2.5 days. However I think this would have been too early to be implantation bleeding.

I took a clear blue test and it looked like a very faint positive (When squinting). I then took a cheap test and It was BFN.

I have sore breasts, have been more teary than usual and tired.

Any help or advice appreciated x

I usually have a cycle of 29 days.
My LMP was 24th June 2021.
I’m currently on CD 32.
I OPK on cd 13 an stopped testing cd 17 as I thought I must of tested earlier and missed it as it was empty circle.. I BD CD 10,15,17,18,19,24.
I tested BFN on FRER this morning.
I usually spot few days before I have AF. But nothing this month. I feel sick an have sore boobs.
But I don’t ‘feel’ pregnant. However I don’t have typical AF symptoms such as hot flashes and irritable.
Only later on the day I feel sick and insomnia. I also have been having a high temp like yesterday was 38.4 an then to 37.5.
I’m just confused as I thought it would show up. I tested on CB digi and CB ultra early an both BFN.
So confused.

I am wondering if anyone can help or give me some advice.

I had a termination of twins in November due to risk to my heath. I had retained tissue 3 weeks later I had surgery to remove this. I only bled for 3 days, spotting more like after my surgery. I have been sexually active and usually my periods are regular but given my above history I'm not so sure now?

My flo app says I'm 3 days late today, I have been having ALOT of white discharge, which usually I don't have, I have a thrombing pain on my right-side above my thigh/groin and my lower back is a light cold throb.

I recall feeling a lower back pain when I tested positive in November.

I tested last week and the week before with first response 6 days early and some had a faint line but could of been indent of evap, none got darker each test, some were negative.

I have some first response rapid results in my cabinet but I'm not really happy to see the negatives as technically I should still be pregnant, so it's a kick in the teeth. 😭.

I just wanted to do a quick message.
My first pregnancy (this post) ended in early MC about a 4 days after I tested positive.
I got pregnant again in January 2022 I got BFP 3 weeks late. MC at 8 weeks.
I got pregnant again in July 2022 I got BFP 5 weeks late. MC at 12 weeks.

Me and my partner are both healthy and have no problems and according to my doctor “it will happen” not sure how to take that but I’m thinking that getting late positives isn’t a good sign, for me anyway. All my dates added up and the baby’s were dating correctly.

I would see your doctor to be safe, maybe after what you have been through it could have an effect on your cycle I no with my mc it messed mine up for a good while. I’m sorry! I no it’s a horrible feeling. My last scan, the lady was struggling to find baby and it was in an awkward position like on my vagina bone but far left, still to this day I feel aching and tugging in that spot. Maybe it’s in my head I don’t no. I hope you get the answers your looking for.

We're just about to start ivf, I was due my period 5 days ago. I've never been this late. I have tested every day and all tests are negative. There's non of My usual period symptoms but I've got hurrendous lower back pain. Should I be worried ?

Ovulation Advice Please…

Wanted some advice on ovulation, I’m currently on cycle day 18 and I have used opks this cycle. According to the opks I ovulated yesterday the test line matched the colour of the control line and tested today and is slightly lighter today. I started testing a week ago and all have been clear negatives until the positive yesterday. I’ve been reading up on ovulation and have not had any “egg white” discharge as of yet nor do I remember ever having this.. ever. Mine is creamy is this normal during ovulation? My cervix is medium texture also feels like the tip of my nose. I feel like my signs are the complete opposite of what is supposed to happen. I have been pregnant before just FYI. Are these things normal just because mine aren’t text book. My boobs are quite tender and nipples are sensitive also.

Im wondering what others experience during ovulation?
