I’m early days in pregnancy #4 and this morning, the minute I walked in to the kitchen the smell hit me...yeast 🤢 DP had been making pizza dough before he went to work and the smell made me heave.
Never suffered with any particular aversions to anything with other pregnancy’s.

With ds, milk, cheese, tea. With dd, meat of any description.

BabyMoonPie · 04/04/2019 14:42

Vimto. Low fat dairy

BareBelliedSneetch · 04/04/2019 14:43

Tea. The smell of frying off onions (which was a problem as the majority of the things I cook start that way). Anything even vaguely sweet with No1 (for the first 20 weeks).

HippyChickMama · 04/04/2019 14:43

Oh and with both, I couldn't do the washing be because the smell of the dirty washing mad me heave and I couldn't stand the smell of my hair straighteners, vanilla scented anything and if I walk past someone in the street even now that's wearing the aftershave dh had in early pg with ds I gag!

Ploppymoodypants · 04/04/2019 14:44

Soya milk and spread
Tomato ketchup
Oven chips 🤢

neddle · 04/04/2019 14:48

In the very early weeks with mine, I couldn’t knit as it made me feel sick. Something to do with the motion I think.

Btw, I had great success with acupuncture for Morning sickness.

flameycakes · 04/04/2019 14:52

The smell of anything greasy, couldn't walk past a chippy without wanting to throw up, that was my 2nd pregnancy, 1st one nothing, last one everything made me feel sick x

SuddenlyISee · 04/04/2019 14:52

Lamb! I knew I was pregnant before I even tested as DP made a lamb curry and I thought it tasted like that taste you get when you go to a farm 🤢

katmarie · 04/04/2019 14:58

Salad, green veg, anything green and crunchy basically. I've gone off coffee this week too. And water. I'm 12 weeks, still a long way to go yet as well.

CosyAsAToasty · 04/04/2019 15:00

Chocolate, perfume

Justdontknow5 · 04/04/2019 15:03

Porridge
Chocolate

Watto1 · 04/04/2019 15:04

One of my colleagues! A lovely chap but his aftershave was making me heave.

thenightsky · 04/04/2019 15:07

Coffee and food cooked in cast iron pans. I could taste the metal.

Bowerbird5 · 04/04/2019 15:38

Nothing until 4th pregnancy. Then it was tea and coffee. Couldn’t stand either. I had a girl after three boys. I had cravings with first three gherkins, then peppermint especially peppermint and choc chip ice cream and fish with number three.

NotMyUsualTopBilling · 04/04/2019 15:43

Heinz tomato soup with #2. She's 6 now and I still can't help heaving if I catch the smell of it!

NeverHadANickname · 04/04/2019 15:45

The smell of all food for a while. Just had to eat whatever carb was put in front of me as I couldn't open the fridge or be near food. Other than that, chocolate, pizza, all soup except cream of mushroom, salad, I'm sure there is more but it's still not good to think about food for too long. I'm 14 weeks.

TerriB1984 · 04/04/2019 15:50

Tea in both my pregnancies. Went off bananas and sweet things in my first pregnancy. Complete opposite this time round. All I seem to want to eat is cake and biscuits Grin

Ellapaella · 04/04/2019 15:52

Cheese and onion crisps 🤢
Also with pregnancy number 3 I went off tea until I was 18 weeks - that was bloody awful because I love drinking tea.

Ohhellothereladyface · 04/04/2019 15:54

Peppers. For some reason the texture of cooked peppers (in, say, a fajita) grossed me out. And the smell of any meat cooking.

Cantthinkofausername1990 · 04/04/2019 16:00

Haven't had cravings but so many aversions especially things i used to have daily - tea, coffee, eggs, Turkey rashers, every kind of fruit, yoghurts Hmm

FrancesV83 · 04/04/2019 16:00

First pregnancy with my son couldn’t stand the smell of coffee, cigarette smoke and cooking meat and couldn’t stomach lots of different food.
This pregnancy (another boy) there are no smells I really don’t like and I can eat everything!

HJWT · 04/04/2019 16:01

Diet coke, Salad, Veg, Potatoes in any form OTHER than chips now & again, home cooked meals? Confused help meeeee Grin

MeredithGrey1 · 04/04/2019 16:02

Pizza.

Even though I can quite happily eat bread, cheese, tomato sauce etc on their own or in other meals, on a pizza it makes me feel grim. I think maybe its the greasiness of it.

HamCheeseHamnCheese · 04/04/2019 16:05

Coffee - before I knew I was preg, I would make a cup out of habit then couldn't face drinking it.

Alcohol - specifically my favourite wine (again, before I knew I was preg)

I think our bodies are very clever, turning us off the things we shouldn't be having.

Also went off any type of bagged salad, which I loved before!

Houmous and Ryvitas - again, something I ate loads of before.

I craved salt and vinegar crisps (by the truckload), oranges, ketchup, pickles - anything tangy/sharp.

Samind · 04/04/2019 16:05

Boost bars!!! Still can't stand them now 😣
