What time of day/night did u go into labour?

Expecting my second, a couple days until due date now and feeling fed up as I thought this one would be really early (no idea why!)

With my first I went into labour afternoon/eve and then gave birth 2 days later - it was a horrible long labour. Hopefully quicker this time.

Just wondering if most people go into labour in eve / nighttime?

8 in the morning a couple of weeks ago, I was 3 days overdue.

Hope your baby is here soon and you have a much easier time this time. The last few days don’t half drag especially when you’re overdue.

Dc1 2 and 4 around midnight

Dc3 about 8am

DC1 - 10pm 25 hour labour - 10 days overdue

DC2 - induced at 15 days overdue, 4 hour labour

DC3 - induced at 13 days overdue, 4.5 hour labour

I go to bed every night hoping to woke in my sleep by pains but it never happens 👎🏻 I actually want to be in pain, how ridiculous is that! 😂

I went into early labour late afternoon/early evening, but didn't go into established later until a week later in the morning

My 8 am labour was a piece of piss compared to the others as i was fresh as a daisy

I was woken by contractions at 4.30am. Fingers crossed for you!

With both of mine my waters broke during the night.

Then, with my first, there was nothing until I was induced 2 days later. Wth my second he was born in the morning, so about 8 hours later

With DS my waters broke at 7:30 pm on the Thursday, my contractions started at about 10pm and I was in hospital at 11pm and he was born at 7:56am on the Friday.

He was exactly a week early

With my first I went into labour at 8.30pm and my baby was born at 4.05am.

With my second I went into labour around 5.30pm and my baby arrived at 12.25am.

First was 3 days late, 2nd was 1 week early.

With all three of them I was woken up by contractions during the night.

I went into labour about 7.30pm, whilst sulking in a restaurant, after the midwife told me her sweep had been ineffective!

Didn't deliver the baby for another 52 hours however 🙄

Ds1 - waters broke at 3pm, contractions started at 11pm. DS born at 5am

DD1 - contractions started at 5pm. She was born 2 hours later.

My labours both started around 10-11pm in the evening. I found it annoying both times as I hadn't Fallen asleep yet so lost the whole night before taking on the mighty challenge of labour!

2am all three times! Probably had been going a while before one woke me.

Waters started to leak at 1.30am and contractions started at 2am

I was 40+2 and must have been around 4am as I went to bed at 3am with a few twinges after being in hospital for suspected waters breaking. I was woken at 5am by the contractions.

Baby was born 26 hours later - hoping for shorter next time!

10pm and 8.30pm.

My waters broke whilst out dog walking at about 11.30
I was only about 40 minutes into my 1hr30 walk too and had to waddle back to the car!

When I made it up to the hospital they said I was contracting but I didnt feel any contractions until aboit 5pm. Gave birth at 2.45pm the following day.

9 days overdue, first contraction at 3am, gave birth 1.30pm that day. Full blown labour started about 9.30/10am

With No1 it started around 10pm. In hospital by 3am.
No 2 I had pains immediately following my 4pm sweep. Realised it was definitely labour around 9pm. At hospital by 12am.

I would much prefer a morning labour as I was utterly desperate for sleep both times.

Around 4am with my first. Gave birth just after 3pm.
11am with my second, gave birth 3.45pm.
I consider myself massively lucky.

Finished work on the Friday for Maternity leave, lost my plug in the bath the same night then waters started to go at about 9pm. Contractions started at 1.35am and baby boy was born 12.54pm Saturday afternoon.
He arrived at 35+4
