@Pollypocket5 I could do with a sleep like that right now! I've been going to bed earlier to counter-act waking up early so I'm getting plenty of sleep over night I just can't stay awake during the day. Pretty sure the last time I felt like this was at uni after a stint of all nighters

@Hayley89 The tiredness is unreal. Trying to not yawn all day at my desk.

Thankyou I have just rang my doctors and they told me that the midwife will call me when I'm around 8 weeks.

My 8.5 monther decided last night mummy should do her best yoyo impression. Up and down all night ... can’t wait to sleep tonight

@Mintypea5 - oh bless you! I was wondering earlier how women cope when there's kids involved already, I can't even do my job properly today let alone look after another human!

Hey all, anyone getting period like cramps? I keep getting them randomly on my left side but no shoulder pain so I'm guessing it's normal. Saw the doctor today as I was told I need them to confirm them I'm pregnant and she was rather rude. Told her I had this pain and said go a&e if you're worried and regarding thrush go buy it over the counter (which pharmacies aren't licenced to do). Wished I had saw my normal doctor. She said I need to see a the midwife urgently so I can get a scan to see how far along I am, so I'm seeing her in 2 weeks but can't wait that long haha.

@Feelingsolow12345 Try not to worry. I had some cramping last Saturday and kept googling apparently it's normal to have some cramping.

Doctor sounds horrible and not what you need at all. Do you know roughly how far you are? Maybe book a private scan?

Cramping is completely normal, all stretching and getting bigger slowly inside - have you ever watched the animation of how all of your organs move when the baby is growing! I find it so bizarre?!

also - the pessary and cream are fine for thrush in pregnancy - it's just the oral you can't take.

@Feelingsolow12345 that dr sounds like a dick! How many weeks do you think you are? Groupon have some good deals on private scans

Looks like I'm back in the game! No symptoms just cramping still. 4+6 today.

Hi all

I had my scan this morning. I was so sure I'd had a loss. I'd had bright red blood and clots. But went in today and told the sonographer I knew it was a loss etc and after a few moments she was like "well there's a baby in here with a heartbeat". I cried so so much!
Still risky because there is a small bleed near the sac. I just have to wait and see if it heals or if it gets worse. Scary times but I feel like it's a fighter and for now it's hanging on in there.... 🤞🏼🤞🏼❤️❤️🤞🏼🤞🏼

Fingers crossed for you @piddlestix. Although it’s super scary and having to wait and see what happens is so nerve wracking even with bleedsnit can be ok. I had lots of bleeding betwee 6-12 weeks and a major bleed at 14 weeks last pregnancy followed by randoms bleeds right through until he was born at 38 weeks. The drs and midwives just said to me sometimes it just happens.

Great news @piddlestix fingers crossed the bleed clears up. Plenty of rest x

I'm guessing I'm 5+1 today going from a 63 day cycle and last period started 2nd Jan. But my doctor is sure as hell I'm 10 weeks when I said I done a test last month and it was a negative still didn't listen to me. I might look on Groupon and see what they have to offer.
