Hello! I am 14 weeks now with my first baby and just curious to know when everyone first noticed their bump? I am excited to buy some maternity clothes and actually look pregnant haha! My husband tells me I will regret saying that in a few months 😂

Around 16 weeks with dd1
13 weeks with ds
8/9 weeks with dd2
And already looking more podgy now at almost 7 weeks 😂

Parent19876 · 09/03/2019 14:02

I'm fourteen weeks and i have nothing... I'm also a size sixteen so that's probably why. I also lost a stone during first trimester.
Makes me worried, but trying not to freak.

cmjwx · 09/03/2019 14:02

About 26 weeks for me I think, it's my first baby

AuntMarch · 09/03/2019 14:04

23 weeks and very obvious now, but it sort of "popped" 2-3 weeks ago and I just looked like I'd put on a bit of weight before then. Which I probably had due to eating my way through trimester 1!

ChrisPrattsFace · 09/03/2019 14:08

I’m 14+2 with my first, the last couple of days there’s a noticeable, harder bump than just my podgy belly!
I’m also aware that I am a little tubby and already had someone grab my fat 😂

Nat6999 · 09/03/2019 14:09

About 16 weeks, I suddenly realised I couldn't fasten my normal trousers. I'd been wearing drawstring waist trousers for work, went away for a weekend for my first wedding anniversary, getting ready to go out to dinner on the first night, put on my favourite black trousers & found I couldn't fasten them. Next morning we had to go on an emergency shopping trip for maternity stuff.

I could tell at 15 weeks but I think I just looked a bit chubby. Looking back at my pics I seemed start having a proper bump shape at about 21 weeks but tbh it was probably more like 24 weeks when others started to notice...from then it grew rapidly!

PurplePink19 · 09/03/2019 15:05

Around 17/18 weeks started to show a little and had a true bump around 28 weeks

Nightmanagerfan · 09/03/2019 15:08

First baby - was in mat jeans by about 14/15 weeks and bump proper appeared by 17/18 weeks I think. Now 37 weeks and can hardly fit in any mat clothes!

GabbyGal · 09/03/2019 16:05

I’m a size 16 and lost almost a stone in the first trimester but was in maternity jeans at 14 weeks. My partner and my mom could tell I had a bump but to most people I probably just looked fat. Even now at 20 weeks I think if I wear something fitted I look pregnant but in loose clothes that don’t hug my bump I just look fat 😂

UserAlice · 09/03/2019 16:49

14 weeks and there is definitely a bit of a bump and I’ve moved to maternity jeans for the comfort. It is pretty well hidden in most outfits though, except a couple of dresses I wear for work.

I’m a size 16 but carry most of my weight on the bottom half with a (relatively) flat stomach.

ladythatlunches84 · 09/03/2019 18:42

I am size 6 and had a flat tummy before. I noticed a rounding of my lower tummy at 10 weeks. I had a rounder tummy for the next few weeks but popped at 19 weeks 👍🏼

JE87 · 10/03/2019 11:03

So exciting...I check everyday but it's still just a bit podgy haha!

I’m 14+3 and no bump yet. 1st Pregnancy. My lower adomden is hard though, not squishy like usual. I’m excited for a bump too! Just feel chubby at the moment - not as chubby as I did though, the bloat 8-11 was real!

ppwonar · 10/03/2019 17:49

10 weeks. Dc2. Currently making sure I am only wearing baggy things as definitely have a bit of a bump going on!

tablelegs · 10/03/2019 18:05

20 weeks with my first. 16 weeks with my second.

sh13 · 10/03/2019 18:08

16 weeks, i was very slim I could see my uterus sticking out when I was lying down and midwife noticed. It just felt different ..prior to that think I had a lot of bloating

sh13 · 10/03/2019 18:08

First baby

Frizzy1986 · 10/03/2019 18:40

First baby it was at about 21 weeks I think. I was quite slim (size 10-12)
This time I'm already a size 14 ish and have a clear bloating buldge. I wouldn't call it my bump though as its still quite squishy(although harder towards my pelvic bone) and is made up of all the food I've eaten due to nausea and that essential early pregnancy gas.

Beckyv88 · 10/03/2019 18:46

About 20-22 weeks for it to start to be a little bump rather than looking like bloating. Now at 29 weeks i have a very obvious bump. First baby!

cocomelon23 · 10/03/2019 19:02

13 weeks.

MaltedMilk88 · 10/03/2019 19:02

I'm typically a size 14-16 and I noticed clothing starting to get tight around 12-14 weeks but I don't think bump was particularly visible until about 20 weeks. I'm now 24 weeks and seemed to have just popped last couple of weeks! Good luck with your pregnancy, maternity clothes are a godsend, wish I hadn't put off buying them so long! x

happydays00 · 10/03/2019 19:57

First baby I was very bloated until about 12 weeks but bumped popped at 16 weeks.

Second baby around 13 weeks

MissMini · 12/03/2019 06:56

I was about 20 weeks before it was a proper bump - up til then I just looked a bit podgy. I’m 39 and massive now 😂

bitchfromhell · 12/03/2019 07:03

8 weeks I was noticeably pg! Ended up with polyhydramnios and a massive baby. He still should have been tiny at that stage and the fluid hadn't kicked in yet but I think my uterus was in preparation. I made midwives wince when I was full term, previously a size 10.
