Is it normal to have no morning sickness AT ALL

I am 10 wks pregnant and to date I have had no morning sickness, or feeling of sickness at all. Maybe I’m super lucky but was wondering if anyone else has not had it either?

I have other symptoms such as incredibly sore boobs and constant extreme tiredness but nothing on the sick front.

Nope I never got any with any of my pregnancies. Not even a vague bit of nausea.

Thank goodness tbh as I hate being sick and was dreading it.

I didn't with either of my pregnancies. No sickness, no sore boobs, no strange cravings, nothing.

Harrykanesrightsock · 26/02/2019 22:49

I had no sickness with either of mine. Extreme tiredness up till 12 weeks or so with both but that was all.

NothingOnTellyAgain · 26/02/2019 22:50

No morning sickness here with either.

ILoveMaxiBondi · 26/02/2019 22:50

No morning sickness with either of my pregnancies either (both boys incase that’s relevant)

Catsandbootsandbootsandcats · 26/02/2019 22:51

The only one I had it slightly with was my twin pregnancy and even then it wasn't too bad. I was sick once, but that was just after finding out it was twins, so I think it was the shock!

I've had 5 pregnancies in total.

I have two children, wasn't sick once. I was told morning sickness was more common when carrying a girl. I have boys.
Later in my pregnancies I did find certain fatty smells made me feel a bit squeamish, roasting lamb for example. but I never threw up.

No morning sickness here either - and had a daughter. DM didn't have morning sickness either; I wonder if there's a genetic link?

I had plenty of other challenges during my pregnancy, but was grateful that wasn't one of them.

Three boys, no sickness at all!

fruitpastille · 26/02/2019 22:58

No sickness or fatigue. Mix of boys/girls!

NeverStopExploring · 26/02/2019 22:59

I’ve had pretty much no symptoms at all. My boobs are only slightly sore when I take my bra off and on my days off I feel like I need a nap around 5pm that’s it! Shouldn’t complain but it makes me really worry!

SuziQ10 · 26/02/2019 23:00

No morning sickness with mine.
First time I threw up from pregnancy was during labour!

Try not to worry.

AnneLovesGilbert · 26/02/2019 23:01

No sickness, nausea or sore boobs here and I’m due in a couple of weeks. Painfree boobs has been epic as I’ve always had tenderness with pmt.

Several other treats like heartburn and sciatica but no sickness is a big win Smile

Congratulations.

I had no sickness in either of my pregnancies. My mum didn’t have any during hers either.

DramaAlpaca · 26/02/2019 23:01

You lucky, lucky women Envy

I was sick as a dog with all three of my boys.

hazandduck · 26/02/2019 23:04

Nope nothing at all! And I am emetophobic (fear of vomiting) so was very, very lucky. I had a slight aversion to OJ and chocolate. But I didn’t even feel sick in labour! (Tbf I had anti sickness drugs once labour was established.) But still...it can happen. Weirdly enough, I had two miscarriages before my DD and I felt sick in both those.

Congrats, OP and good luck for your scan x

hazandduck · 26/02/2019 23:05

Also my mum/sisters/cousins/grandmothers all never suffered morning sickness either. Think it can run in families!

ILoveMaxiBondi · 26/02/2019 23:06

Oh I’ve just remembered, baths made me queasy while I was pregnant. I was never actually sick from it but they made me feel urgh so I would get out. It actually put me off having a water birth and I still don’t like baths much now as a result.

OrigamiZoo · 26/02/2019 23:07

No sickness here either, my only symptom was being more thirsty!

OrigamiZoo · 26/02/2019 23:08

Two girls too.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 26/02/2019 23:10

I had morning sickness with ds1 but nothing at all with ds2. I've had friends who've never had morning sickness.

OutOntheTilez · 26/02/2019 23:15

I had morning sickness with both of my children, but my mom had four of us and never had morning sickness. The only issue she had was that when pregnant with my last sibling, she couldn’t stand the smell of bacon. Everyone’s different.

sanityisamyth · 26/02/2019 23:17

No nausea or vomiting with my DS which was lovely!!

JumpOrBePushed · 26/02/2019 23:20

No sickness at all with my first 2 pregnancies and only the occasional bit of mild nausea with the last.

I threw up lots during labour every time though.

miki123 · 27/02/2019 06:43

I had a girl and a boy and had one bout of vomiting with my son and nothing at all with my daughter. Ibarely even had sore boobs to be honest so was convinced I couldn’t really be pregnant both times!!
