Ooo! I'm due the 14th!! Super nervous and apprehensive now, Im Afraid to go too far from home unless I'm with my oh, bags are done and am Thinking about just putting them in the car ready, and I carry my notes with me everywhere 😂

Thegirlwithnousername · 20/02/2019 15:11

@Blabbermouth93
I am just getting fed up of not being able to do simple thing's like bending over to get the washing out of the washing machine easily, Or actually just breathing properly and not just these small intakes of breath I am taking! I am so ready for baby now!!! I hope I don't go to much over :(.
Haven't got the emotions yet, I am sure that will be next week lol!.

@Milligan123 Is this your first? I was like that with my first...Now I am just so un organised. I had it all sorted out way before now and could just relax, I have so much to do it's ridiculous!

blondeirishmummy84 · 20/02/2019 15:21

Im due my 2nd baby 26th March but have been booked in for an elective CS for 21st March! 4 weeks tomorrow and I am nowhere near organised! My son is only 11 months old lol (he will be 1 on 8th March).
I finish work on 5th March so everything is becoming very real now and Im sh*tting myself!

Chunk9 · 21/02/2019 07:50

How’s everyone doing? Bag is now packed! Just getting paranoid this week because doesn’t feel like she’s head down any more, it feels like she’s moved around. Got another midwife appointment on Tuesday so I guess I’ll find out then! Everyone else ready now? X

I finally did my bag too, having to keep it well out of the way so it doesn’t get lost in the move. I haven’t yet packed one for the baby though which is a little ridiculous, I’ll make that my aim for today. I’m 34+4 today and since yesterday (tmi) have had horrible loose poos. Which is quite something after about 6 months of being the total opposite, made worse in the last few weeks by the huge amount of iron I’m taking. Part of me had a little panic when it happened yesterday thinking it might be a sign things are kicking off. I’ve had some really strong Braxton Hicks too, which are probably related. Seeing the midwife for a routine appointment after lunch today so I’ll mention it, though so far she hasn’t really taken my concerns about anything seriously, and im really not a neurotic first timer so I think she’s like that with everyone.

I'm due 19th March - first baby. Started maternity leave on Monday and am knitting like a mad women! Bag is packed, birth plan done. I'm finishing it hard to switch off from work ... I've a very mentally taxing job so finishing it hard to wind down. Any tips? What are you all planning on doing before baby comes?

Chunk9 · 21/02/2019 09:11

Sounds like things could be moving for you! Have a chat with her today, I haven’t packed any baby clothes, they’re folded up by the bag, they all smell beautiful of fairy, want them
All fresh for baby, don’t want them squashed up in the bag yet!

@LuckyKitty13 I started mine on Monday too! Throwing myself into cleaning, washing, ironing, preparing some batch cooking, so everything is on top of whenever she decides to arrive! I found this is keeping me busy! That and my 3 year old!

Chunk, we have 8 days til we move. If she follows her siblings leads then I still have almost seven weeks left before she makes an appearance. I can’t even imagine a baby coming early, mine were all sooooo late. And I have too much to do still! I’m really feeling the loss of the nesting I was doing. It seems pretty pointless to be doing stuff in a house we’ll be leaving shortly, so I’ve taken to Kondoing every drawer on the house, which has left dh somewhat bemused. I hope the packers and movers just take drawers out and leave their contents nicely folded, it would break my heart a little to see the effort go to waste Blush

Chunk9 · 21/02/2019 09:25

@AwkwardAsAllGetout I don’t envy you! But as you say hopefully little one will hold on for you so you can get yourselves settled first! It’s gonna be fine!!! Hope you’re managing to stay fairly calm in all he madness!

I'm at that stage now we're baby's movements are becoming so sore and uncomfortable can't sleep at night with the need to pee every 5 mins and I'm just so tired during the day! Got my bags finished yesterday myself so feeling relieved! But I keep thinking there's somthing I'm forgetting lol I'm trying to keep myself busy by constantly cleaning oh thinks I'm going mad washed all the cutlery and tea towels in the drawers and I give out if I even spy a crum on the floor or worktop! Ha! Have my last growth scan today to see how baby's doing feeling a little emotional cause they always have me somthing to look forward to for reassurance! But due date is in 3 weeks so hopefully won't have long to wait to meet her! Praying I don't go over like I did with my son! X

Chunk9 · 21/02/2019 09:45

@babystripes tell me about it!!! Up and down all night- wee/ drink/ heartburn on a loop!!! Then I’m totally flat all day, so glad I started maternity this week instead of the end of February as planned!

I know what you mean! Bag is so full! I can’t fit any more in!!! Is a 4 pack of lucozade excessive? I was going to get some snacks?! My blood sugar was so low when I was in labour with my son they kept threatening to put me on a drip, I don’t want the same again! My little boy went almost 2 weeks over too. Are you going to have a sweep? My midwife is doing one at 39 for me

Thegirlwithnousername · 21/02/2019 12:23

Midwife wasn't happy with the heartbeat but after a while it settled they have put it down to D and V but I don't think it is..! Still having contraction like pains so will see..I have a scan later so she said I should go and see what they say can always go up to day assessment later.. I havent had anymore loose stool or vomiting since 9am so I dont think it is that.. I don't feel unwell..Fingers crossed for me!

Chunk9 · 21/02/2019 15:37

@Thegirlwithnousername that must have worried you. Least you have a scan later to put your mind at rest?

OP posts:
Thegirlwithnousername · 21/02/2019 19:12

It's more annoyed me as they have said D and V and not really mentioned the contractions which are still happening but not getting any worse?.
Scan was fine babies tummy measurement was off the chart so was sent up to DAU and the Drs were happy and just booked me in for another scan near due date.
We shall see how the evening goes..I am sat on my birth ball see if I can get some thing going!

Thegirlwithnousername · 22/02/2019 21:51

Think it was false labour..Still getting tightenings but they aren't regular or getting any worse..Hope I don't have this for the next few weeks!
How is everyone doing?

s888 · 22/02/2019 22:09

Hi guys! I'm due 21st March.
How's everybody doing?
@Thegirlwithnousername I feel for you!
I lost my plug Monday and been having on off contractions and pain since then. It's so infuriating just want it over with! Hope it doesn't go on for a couple of weeks. Already really grouchy now and today my feet have started to bloody kill even though I'm not really walking on them .

It's nice to know there are others in the same boat!

X

Chunk9 · 23/02/2019 09:37

I’m feeling a bit low to be honest. I can’t stop myself worrying. Constant paranoia. I’m totally obsessed with what position she’s in.

OP posts:
s888 · 23/02/2019 11:19

@Chunk9 sorry you're feeling low!
Often with second babies don't they pop out and pop back in quite often? When's your due date? I'm sure lo is still head down though! Could you try doing something nice today to take your mind off of feeling low?

Chunk9 · 23/02/2019 11:30

@s888 thanks. Due 13th March. I know it doesn’t help I’m on maternity now so too much time to think at home!!! I’m seeing my midwife on Tuesday so she should calm me down a bit. When are you due?

OP posts:
s888 · 23/02/2019 11:37

@Chunk9 yes! As nice as it is to be on maternity and rest before the new bundle of joy comes along, it all also enables you to over think and panic about everything. It's so horrid! Oh not long now then for you! Yeah you're midwife will definitely be able to put your mind at ease! And check what position baby is in. Do you know what your having?
Iv got an hours long appointment Sunday with mine as I have an irrational fear that the baby or I will die during child birth . A little crazy I know. Haha!
I'm due 21st March. Lost my plug Monday and been having on and off period cramps and back ache. Not hopeful though as I know it can go on for AGES! X
