Too scared to do a pregnancy test

I think I'm pregnant 🙈 I'm over a week late and have a few early symptoms. We've been using condoms since July because other contraception wasn't agreeing with me. I'm too scared to take a test, we already have 5 children and was discussing me having my tubes tied 🙈

Not really sure why I've posted but I haven't told dh and I don't know what to do. Have name changed for this 😬

I would just take test & if you know its not ideal to have another get things organised asap x

I can't. 3 times I've been to my local Tesco to get a test and 3 times I've walked out empty handed 🙈 it's like if I know then it's real.

I know I just need to do it but I physically can't 🙊

can you get a friend to bring one over and (if she’s willing) dip it in a container of your wee? You need to find out but that way your friend is doing it for you and support for you

I was going to ask my sister yesterday when she came round, but I bottled it when she told me she had stopped her pill and was now trying 🙈I can't even tell my best friend. Every time i go to text her I end up deleting the whole text.

I know I need to get a grip but it's like if I don't know then it's not happening. I don't think I'd terminate ( I don't think I could live with myself) I don't know what I want. I just needed to put this somewhere because I've been driving myself crazy keeping it to myself 🙈

As scary as it is u need to test for the welfare of your baby if your choosing to keep it....
come on OP u can do it!! U could be stressing ovwr nothing causing symptoms which u are associatinh with pregnancy but could jus be late AF, hormome imbalance xxxxxx

And if my dates are right morning sickness is about 2 weeks away 😬 I don't think I will survive another pregnancy my last was horrific 🙈 I know I'm being a baby and I should just get it over with and test. My symptoms are exactly the same as my last two pregnancies at this stage. Sore boobs, headache, food cravings, I'm currently sat here with a bowl of grapes and cheese cut into cubes with a cocktail stick 🙈(I hate hate hate cheese) I've been eating this for almost 2 weeks. I just know I'm pregnant I just don't want to confirm it 🙊

toomuch I feel for you! Truly I do! Do you shop online? Add a test to your shop now. Then it will just turn up.
Or order one on amazon now while you are full of resolve!
If you are not pregnant then you need to see the GP about your weird symptoms. You can do it! You can!
(I was in your shoes at 19- I ended up going to see my uni nurse who sent me out to buy a test there and then, and held my hand while it came up... negative. Then sent me to the gp about my weird periods...)

If you're going to keep it anyway, you don't need to know straight away if you don't want to. Just start taking supplements just in case, don't drink etc, and see how you feel in a week or two. It's not like there is much else to do at this stage, though if you aren't pregnant, it would put you out of your misery...

You have presumably taken tests at least five times in the past so you know how easy it is. You need to know if there’s a chance you don’t want to keep it because the sooner it is sorted, the better. Just buy one on amazon prime, it’ll be delivered tomorrow then you can put your mind at ease either way.

Get a test done!

My cycle is very accurate (28 days) I was due on on the 2nd so I'm precisely 11 days late 🙈 I'm scared that when I take the test and it confirms it then the ms will start 🙄

We talked about having one final baby last year. But after giving it lots of thought and weighing up the pros and con we decided that we would look into some being sterilised. Then one thing after another happened and I haven't actually got around to seeing my doctor about it. I definitely wouldn't go down the abortion route.

Dh won't be horrified I know he won't. But another baby would put a lot of stress on us, money, space wise.

Sounds like u already kno deep down... im opposite to u id HAVE to know one way or the other lol if u know u hav hubbys support dont b scared bout finding out... i hav 4 kids so kno what thoughts go through when thinkin of having another but what will be will be... hope u get the result u want xxx

It would be useful for you to know one way or another. Get a test today, do it tomorrow morning first thing. Thinking of you.

@Ourbabies18 I keep thinking it's a sign. I have 3 children from my first marriage their teenagers now. And we have 2 daughters together, dh has said in the past he'd like a son (I think most men do) and we talked about trying last year. I'm a big believer in that things happen for a reason. My youngest is 2 now and she's just getting to that easier stage so I'm scared to start all over again 🤦🏻‍♀️

It is possible you aren't pregnant and the not knowing seems to be causing you stress. Why stress until you need to (when you know one way or the other?)?

My best friend has picked me up a test and is coming over tomorrow after work 🙈. I'll keep you all informed 😬
