good luck with your scan tomorrow, i will cross my fingers and think of you

scorpio1 · 04/07/2007 10:57

really wishing you good luck for tomorrow let us know.

MrsMcJnr · 04/07/2007 11:40

Emilou ? firstly, congratulations! I hope this pregnancy is a great success. I just wanted to come in and wish you all the luck in the world Tomorrow will hopefully give you some reassurance that the pregnancy is in the right place and they?ll probably get you back in a couple of weeks so that they can see the heartbeat . My story is nowhere near as sad as yours but I guess my own experience is all I have. I lost my 1st baby at 10 weeks in March I subsequently found out that I have Thrombophilia and so this pregnancy (I am currently 12 weeks) I have been injecting Clexane daily since I was 6 weeks. Touch wood, things seem to be going well and I am even getting used to the daily shots . Take each day at a time, that is the best advice I got and the only thing that really keeps me sane ? and talk to us ? the Pregnancy after MC thread has been my life line . Keep us posted and I?ll be thinking of you.

Uki · 04/07/2007 12:39

GOOD LUCK Emi

You are amazing to go through so many. You will give alot of others strength. I am in shock reading this, I can understand a little of yours s and dh' nervousness. I had trouble living through 3 m/c.

YOU deserve this baby.(to say the least) I will pray for you.
I am on asprin for my current pg and have a friend who is just pg and has factor V , she will take asprin till 14 weeks and then clexane.

i'm on pg after m/c thread too.

emilou · 04/07/2007 13:34

Thank you for all your support, but i feel if it fails this time i am going to give up i am trying to stay positive but it is so hard. i know clexane has helped many people to have successful pregnancies. once again thank you

MrsMcJnr · 04/07/2007 14:48

You'll need to use Uki's mantra - you WILL be successful this time! meant to say, I take aspirin too so chances are they might prescribe that too.

thehairybabysmum · 04/07/2007 15:07

Good luck emilou with scan tmw...ive opnly had one m/c but that was bad enough so really feel for you.

Sorry for hijack but hello MrsMcJnr...and congratulations delighted to see you are pg again...i was on the same due thread as you before. Hope yoou are ok...i've wondered how you were getting on.

Fingers crossed for you both and that the clexane does its job.

MrsMcJnr · 04/07/2007 15:12

thehairybabysmum - how lovely of you to post for me! of course I remember you, I hope your pg is going well. I often think about you October ladies but think it's better for me to stay away from that thread - I will be looking out for the announcements though

Jossiejump · 04/07/2007 21:45

Hi
I've had 3 m/cs, am 19.5 weeks pg and injecting with the same dosage of Clexane as you
I've possibly got a bood clotting problem, but my consultant said that even if a potential problem hadn't shown up he would have put me on Clexane anyway as it has a much higher success rate of a live birth than without it. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and all of us injecting daily. If you want any advice about it, just ask and there's always someone who will be ableto answer your questions about iy
Good luck

mother2b · 05/07/2007 07:28

Uki · 05/07/2007 12:17

hi just got back from my scan and nothing the uterus is empty but lining has thickened they say i have a cyst on right ovary which could be ecoptic pregnancy dont know or i am not as far as i thought eg 4 weeks but surely they would see something they have taken my blood if it is over 1500 hcg level then it is ecopic preg has this ever happened to anyone with a positive outcome would they see something please some one tell me the truth

OP posts:
mother2b · 05/07/2007 13:31

have never had eptopic pregnancy but wanted you to know that my thoughts are with you [hug]

MrsMcJnr · 05/07/2007 17:19

Oh Emilou ? I am sorry that you are going through this. I have not been through it so cannot help but I just wanted to say that when I went in at 5 weeks, they refused to scan me because they said that they might not be able to see anything in the uterus so early so I had to come back the following week. Hoping and praying that you are just not as far along as you thought. The thickened lining sounds positive and the cyst could well be a corpus luteal one (i.e. the remains of the follicle) so that could be positive too. My scan at 6 weeks showed the cyst so much bigger than the tiny sac. Hope it isn?t ectopic. Everything crossed for you, hope you don?t have to wait too long for the blood results but trust they will be re-scanning you anyway in 2 weeks? Talk to us anytime, don?t wait out the horrible limbo alone xx

Jossie hon, how are you?

emilou · 05/07/2007 20:52

hi sorry to bother you all again i have just had a phone call from hospital to say my HGC level is 126 so indicates early preg... is this true have to go sat for another one and they say it should have doubled is this true in all cases once again sorry to bother you all

OP posts:
Jossiejump · 05/07/2007 21:24

Yes, withmy 3rd m/c I had to go every other day to see if my hcg levels had doubled, unfortunately in my cae they hadn't. There is a thread somewhee about the range of hcg levels in early pg, I can't find it at the minute, but maybe someone else knows where it is.

MrsMcJnr · 06/07/2007 12:42

Emilou ? hon, you are not bothering us!! We want to help as much as we can hon. We really feel for you!! This news sounds good! I don?t personally know much about the levels because my EPU have always refused to test mine. There is a lot of info about the levels and each stage on www.ovusoft.com. There are a lot of US posters and they seem to know all about HCG levels. Anyway, I really hope Sat?s tests show the right thing I do know that HCG has a half life of 36 hours, don?t know if that helps at all. Everything crossed for you, keep us posted. Sorry you are still in limbo, everything crossed.

scorpio1 · 06/07/2007 12:47

website explaining hcg levels

emilou · 06/07/2007 14:14

thanks all for your kind words you are all wonderful thank you scorpio for that link. I wish it was saturday today i hate this waiting game as they say no news is good news . husband says i have to keep beliving and not be negative its so hard.

it just makes me mad that people who dont want children have an easy pregnancy and boast about it, and yet people who really want kids tend to struggle.

but here is to saturday and hopefully hcg levels have doubled.

once again sorry to keep going on
