Clear blue digital wrong?

Hi everyone, I found out I was pregnant on a Wednesday, having had 2 miscarriages (one last month). Lines on the tests are getting darker (I’ve taken at least one a day Blush) but the clear blue digital is still saying 1-2 weeks, both Wednesday and today. According to the date of my last period, I’m 4+7. Did anyone have a good outcome with this? We so want this 👶🏻

Clear blue digital dates from ovulation, not the start of your last period. So you will indeed be just over 4 weeks. Congratulations Smile

Congratulations and I’m sorry about your losses. The digital ones are a nice idea but honestly they just drive most people insane. It’s not an exact science, loads of people find they don’t match up. Step away from them, they cost a fortune and they can be worryingly shit!

Pregnancy after losses can be very nerve wracking, if you want to chat with people who get it there’s a lovely thread called fresh start.

As previous poster said, you add 2 weeks to the cb digital ones...so if it’s says 1-2, the ways doctors date it it is 3-4.
I also 4wks pregnant after mc 3 months ago, and I know how worried you must be feeling! Mixed emotions! sorry for your losses and lots of luck for your new pregnancy xx

Thanks everyone will look for the fresh start thread now, I feel sick for the first time ever so I’m so hoping it’s a good sign. I will definitely try and stay away from the tests. I spoke to my mum and she said you’re pregnant until something suggests your not which I do sort of get but she’s never lost a pregnancy or even struggled to conceive so not quite sure she gets the panic! We have an early scan booked for 7 weeks so just praying and desperately hoping we get there.

The only time I had absolutely no sickness or nausea it was bad news. I think sickness is a positive sign. Try not to worry and get lots of sleep.

@TTCVickster
We are just weighing up an early scan, as the epu that saw me after my mc said I could go in for one with no gp refferal in my next pregnancy.

I was a bit worried at 7wks they would use the probe!!! But I spoke to a friend who said the probe is actually really small, much smaller then the thing they use for a smear test...so i might be ok...

Or might hold out for 8 weeks!!

With DS1 I didn't find out I was pg until I was about 7/8 weeks, hard to imagine that now when I'm fretting everyday!

I’ve had internal scans before as Ive had cysts on my ovaries and it’s not too bad. I just try to remind myself they wouldn’t do anything dangerous!

Get yourself on here Smile

It’s been a bit quiet lately but one of our amazing women just had her rainbow baby and the support on there has saved my sanity on many occasions.

I know how you feel more than I can tell you. Finally having a pregnancy that seems to be going the distance and I promise time does eventually speed up and while the nature of the anxiety about it changes with different stages, I’ve started to genuinely enjoy being pregnant rather than hating the tricky of balance of hope and terror!

I wish you EVERY luck and a boring uneventful healthy happy pregnancy Smile

AnneLovesGilbert · 03/02/2019 22:38

An internal is absolutely fine Ambs81, I had 3 or 4 this time as I’m under a recurrent miscarriage clinic and it gives a really clear picture and doesn’t hurt. If you feel at all uncomfortable they’ll listen to you and want you to be happy and at ease.

I’ve also had no sickness or nausea at all, symptoms can be different with every pregnancy Smile
