9dpo faint line on First Response Rapid Results

Hi ladies,

so I miscarried 23/12 (all clear the wk after when I went for a check up scan)

today its been 9 days since we did the deed again (sexy time) and I've just felt a little... different? or maybe hopeful I guess .. anyway I thought FUDGE it i'm taking a test...

now I've edited the effect so you can see it but i'm seeing a feint line huns....

any comments?

Hi Nel no I’m going to do a digi tonight! Did another FR today and things are deffo darkening so I’m feeling quietly confident. Tonight is 14 days! I’m definitely not thinking evap lines as we have colour.

Maybe, I really thought it would say pregnant after those lines have showed on the other clear blues x

@dollydoo22, maybe just go 2-3 days without testing and then try again. You should get a clearer result, which might put your mind at ease a little. Xx

When I found out I was pregnant I was 14dpo with faint lines and then did my digital 17dpo so yeah maybe do another one at a later date!

Hi ladies, just an update... 2 x negatives on the digitals! today and yesterday so not really feeling hopeful anymore.

about 30 mins ago I started getting some low back cramps and had blood when I wiped

for all the ladies out there who have been going through this for months / years my heart honestly breaks for you

its the most heart sinking, confusing, distressing thing I've ever experienced the want for something so bad and the confusion and constant "unknown" is just wow...

anyway i'm thinking maybe I fertilized and it hasn't stuck... who knows! perhaps i'll make a doctors appointment I don't know.

I think I should make a pact with myself never to test early AGAIN!

I finally got my period and I feel so much better, ready for a fresh start and at least I know what my body is doing and is reset to try again this month. I'm sure my faint positives last week were just left over hormones from my miscarriage in December, my doctor thought that as well.
I went to the doctor and had a complete melt down about it all, then as if on cue my period came 3 hours after the appointment!

So sorry dolly feel awful, I refreshed and saw your recent post and my message had already gone through. It might be a good idea to see your GP and talk the results through just for clarity. Sorry again! Good luck in the future xxx

No one can say for sure but the hcg need to turn a digital test positive is usually higher than the normal tests...how many DPO are u? X

Hey girls. Soooo bleeding got worse during the night so I’m definitely thinking no sticky bean for me. I just feel a bit lost now... I wish I never tested early .... little bit worried as I mc’d and then 6 weeks to the day this! Maybe it was too soon? The lady said on my final scan to check miscarriage was all gone that everything looked healthy in there... I don’t know ☹️☹️☹️

I'm so sorry to hear about the bleeding. I went through fertility tx so I know how tempting it is to test early. I know after a loss how much you want to see the positive test again.

It's not impossible, you can get pregnant the cycle after a MC.

The best thing would be to get checked over again at the EPAU, get beta HCG's done 48 hours apart. That will tell you for sure.

Can you self refer to the EPAU?

i'm going to call my GP today and ask her advise but I think you're right i'm now just worried something is wrong with me :-( I'm also going to ask for a different hospital this time I went to Hillingdon with my miscarriage and found them appalling.

@Merrydoula unsure of DPO as I didn't have a period after my MC all I know is I DTD on 20/01 and then started getting positives from the 29th which got darker

Today is my Friday - i'm now so pleased I booked a long weekend off work! xxxx

I’ve been followed, as I also had mc in Nov and got BFP last week.
You must feel totally overwhelmed, but I wouldndefinety recommend giving yourself at least 2 cycles so you know where you stand.
My first cycle after mc was 3 weeks, the next one was almost 5 weeks and then finally I got back to my usual cycle length and when tried and I’ve been lucky enough to conceive on that first cycle.

OP if you went to Hillingdon you live near me! I’m sorry this one wasn’t a sticky.

I would say you need time to recover from the emotional upheaval of it all, as it's a lot to have to deal with.

Please keep posting as we can be here for you, if you want to talk about what you've been going through.

@Dollydoo22 I'm so sorry you've had to go through this. I really do hope you manage to get your sticky bean soon. You've been through a lot in 6 weeks your body probably needs a rest for a couple of months and hopefully March/April time will be your month x

so its been a while! last month just left me super disheartened and decided to take a break from here and apps etc

the blood test came up as a "3" and the nurse confirmed I wasn't pregnant she thought I must have had leftover HCG but I know those tests got darker and I also know I had a blank after my miscarriage so i'm convinced it was a chemical.

back to TTC ... although I said i'd take a break...

although I've just worked out I ballsed up my dates this month... I thought I had a 28 day cycle for some reason ...

SO! I thought I was ovulating on the 19th (due to my Ovia app) plus I had some EWCM on the 18th... so I did the deed on the 18th!! and no other day that week as I worked late most of that week (had work events) and to be honest I was just knackered when I got in and boyf was asleep.... poor excuse I know!! anyway... I didn't come on yday and didn't get a BFP however I look at my old fitbit app which I used to log all my periods on for the last 18 months (before MC) and my cycle is 33 days........... meaning I actually ovulated on the 23rd which made sense as the 22 & 23rd I was super (sorry for TMI) wet down there.......

anyway I guess my question is....... reckon there is a small chance????

I've been testing since Friday and getting BFN however if I got my dates wrong i'm technically only just 10dpo ......
