Just that really!

Have lost mine this morning and desperately hoping nothing happens for at least a week!

Six hours

Stinkytoe · 28/01/2019 12:40

2 hours for me

YoureAMeanOneMrGrinch · 28/01/2019 12:41

I can't remember if it was a week or a day. It was a Saturday and I went into labour on the Sunday evening

Quarepants · 28/01/2019 12:41

I lost mine at 8:30am. Labour started at about 3am next morning and baby was born at 12:30 that day (so 16 hours later)

Birdie6 · 28/01/2019 12:42

Same day, both times.

TheBabyAteMyBrain · 28/01/2019 12:43

I lost bits of mucus plug for about 3 weeks before labour, but contractions started immediately after the bloody show.

Belmo · 28/01/2019 12:43

Lost mine once labour had already started the first time, and never saw it the second- not very helpful sorry!

AllTheProsecco · 28/01/2019 12:44

DD, I woke up with contractions, went to the loo and lost my plug.

DS, lost it last Saturday and only 29 weeks today so keeping my legs crossed!

Watto1 · 28/01/2019 12:46

My waters went literally 1 minute after losing my plug! DD born 12 hours later.

mytime2 · 28/01/2019 12:46

Oh wow Shock really quickly for most of you! Not the news I was hoping for 😂

12 hours second child. Didn't happen with first child!

mrsed1987 · 28/01/2019 14:27

About 3 days i think

Yakadee · 28/01/2019 14:42

Days for me but I was actually induced so could have been much longer x

MaMisled · 28/01/2019 14:50

8 hours

Helsvamp · 28/01/2019 14:56

I lost mine at hospital when fully duilated

Iswallowtoothpaste · 28/01/2019 18:00

I lost mine after my second stretch and sweep at 40+9. I think I lost it at around 2pm then went into labour at 8-9pm. DD was born the next morning at 1:45am.

Emz1989 · 28/01/2019 22:07

Lost mine on Tuesday, it's now Monday night and I'm still very much pregnant - so almost a week and no sign of labour and I'm 40+8!

TheRhythmlessMan · 28/01/2019 22:09

Why not the news you were hoping for? Day not convenient? Grin

I lost mine once the early stages of labour were well underway.

barkinatthemoon · 28/01/2019 22:52

I think I was already in early labour when I lost mine. Contractions got intense within a few hours, and baby was born by emcs about 5 hours after plug.

Hopehope20 · 28/01/2019 23:15

Lost mine on a Saturday at around 1pm...contractions started Sunday at 8pm and little man arrived Monday at 11pm. Good luck to you for whenever labour starts x

2ellenor2 · 28/01/2019 23:18

I’m wondering this too as I lost mine this evening
Been feeling off the past 24 hours - more aches and cramps than usual, been feeling very sick
About half an hour I felt a pop too
I’m only 35+5 and haven’t even packed my hospital bag!!

DramaAlpaca · 28/01/2019 23:19

DS1 was born 12 hours after I lost mine.

pastabest · 29/01/2019 09:07

I'd had the baby in less than 24 hours of losing the plug both times.

Jsh125 · 29/01/2019 11:42

My first I had a small bit of mucus & blood then waters went about 3 hours later but no contractions so was induced

Second lost a bit at 35 weeks then nothing until 39+4. Lost some (not the whole amount) at 2.30pm, contractions started at 10.30pm & she was born at 4.15pm the following day.

For both of them losing my mucus plug was the first sign of labour.

onemoremummy · 29/01/2019 11:48

About 30 minutes after I lost mine!
