Is there any way this isn’t a miscarriage? :( warning tmi

12 weeks 2 days
Big PV bleed last night; enough to soak through the mattress protector and right through the mattress. Lots of tissue but nothing identifiable.

I went to a&e- they could see pieces of passed tissue there, the bleeding had slowed to a regular period within 2 hours. Cervix was closed upon examination 4 hours later.

Still bleeding lightly today. More tissue when I tried to bath earlier.

I can’t get a scan until tomorrow and just want to be as well prepared as possible. I asked the gynae team, they said they can’t confirm. Paperwork said “threatened miscarriage”.

Is there anything else it could be?

Yes. I for one had a massive bleed at 11 plus weeks with my baby. I was passing clots that were huge. Blood was pouring out literally. It was sudden, no pain just pressure and within a minute my clothes were saturated. A & E scanned me in resus but the bsvy was moving perfectly waving her arms. It was a huge surprise. Baby is 10.5 mths now.
I'd had a scan the week before for twins but there was only ever one baby.
They wrote down on my paperwork threatened miscarriage but it never happened. Bleeding stopped after a few days. They said sometimes blood vessels just bleed as uterus is growing.
I'd had a miscarriage at 5 weeks the beginning of the year in exactly the same way. Just keep open minded and please be fire to take someone with you.
