Urgent advice on positive test please feeling very shakey????

Am week over and just did a test literally 2 minutes ago. It came up positive within about 10 seconds of peeing on the stick I thought it took atleast a minute to give an accurate reading???

It was a cheap tesco one so do you think it is faulty??? or a genuine result??

Good god wish I hadn't been a tight fisted old cow and bought 2 tests.

As per squonk. Hope you are OK, and the shakiness passes. With DS, the PG was unplanned so took a day or two to sink in.

i have never heard of anybody getting a false positive.i tested with cheap 89p from home bargains pg tests and got positives,with my last 2 babies.if they work ok then im sure the tesco ones must

btw i did about 4 more tests afetr the first positive last time,just in case it was somehow 'wrong'

COngratulations - when I found out I was pregnant first time around, I went to Asda to get more tests, did all 5 and it was still positive - it's a funny feeling isn't it - realisation that you are making a baby xxxx Congratulationsxxx LOL I even went to the doctors the next day, he giggled, he said there was no need for him to check especially if I had done 5 tests!

Sometimes you get a definite IN YOUR FACE line straight away. Sometimes you are there for ages looking and trying to figure out whether there is a line there or not.

With DS, I had bought a cheapy one from Superdrug and I had a line within about 10secs when I did it as well.....so....

I didn't tell him with my first pregnancy that i was going to test and waited a whole day before telling it was positive. i think I just like to know things for certain and get my head round it before having to think about others.

Mine were both unplanned,and are the best thing I ever did.

I took about 4 tests first time as I didn't believe it.

we were trying with ds so i was really calm about testing and getting a positive but this is surreal it really is.
