Am week over and just did a test literally 2 minutes ago. It came up positive within about 10 seconds of peeing on the stick I thought it took atleast a minute to give an accurate reading???

It was a cheap tesco one so do you think it is faulty??? or a genuine result??

Good god wish I hadn't been a tight fisted old cow and bought 2 tests.

christ shaking like a leaf here help!!!

I'm hoping by your absence that you're "celebrating" ???? .

ConnorTraceptive · 01/07/2007 07:48

sorry for the long absence guys.

well i just went straight up to him and said "you ok"
He said "yeah"
I said "good cause i'm pregnant"
He said "uh? what? uh? really?"
I said "yes really"
He said "Oh man I thought when you asked if i was alright you were making an approach for sex, guess not eh?"
Then he was all grins and hugs and generally very excited.
I asked for a new car and he said yes of course whatever you need

I used the same cheap tesco test too! Came up positive almost immediately! Sobbed for 10 mins then was in shock for ages. I wasn't even going to do a test but saw those tests in the local tescos and bought one.

ConnorTraceptive · 01/07/2007 07:57

I'm pretty sure it was an accurate test but gonna get a clear blue today just to confirm.

VickyLou · 01/07/2007 07:58

Congrats

lissie · 01/07/2007 08:00

great news connor! the tesco tests are just as good as clearblue, not quite as sensitive and half the price. dont waste your money. the only false bfp ive ever heard of was with a clearblue (and that was an evap line) are you coming to join us on the march thread then?

ConnorTraceptive · 01/07/2007 08:04

just calculated my due date as 1st march so will be joining you by the skin of my teeth
