What were your experiences with implantation bleeding?

I think I may have implantation bleeding. Please could you share your experiences as I'd love to see if you had similar!

Obviously some women do have it so it's always a possibility but my personal experience of it was that it gave me false hope many times. Both times I have got pregnant I had no bleeding.

I didn't have any at all. Obviously some women do but I don't think it's particularly common!

I had some pale brown CM which came on the day AF was due & I believe was implantation but no way of knowing really!

I had what I thought was a short period and 3 weeks later tested positive - I was 6 weeks gone (long cycles). The bleeding was about 10 dpo. DS is now 11 weeks old.

I had some pinky/red bleeding, very light and only on paper when I wiped, lasted 2 days, I thought it was my period initially. Tested positive about 4 days later, 12+5 now.

I had some brown bleeding on the day AF was due and thought it was just that starting, but by the next day it had trailed off.

Didn't get any at all (or any other symptoms before bfp)

Didn’t have any with first pregnancy.

Second pregnancy I had some around the time my period was due, assumed it was my period. Fairly light, but my periods do always start light for a couple days anyway. Only by day 3 the heavy part didn’t come and it seemed to have stopped. Took me another couple of days until I thought ‘was that a normal period’ took a test then positive. Assume this was implantation bleeding.

Currently 5+4 - no implantation bleeding here.
I had no indication before my BFP - only sign was no period - I tested CD29 (usually 26-28 day cycle).

Had this with both pregnancies
The first I assumed it was a light period. Can't remember much more. I didn't know until I went for my 12 week scan, which turned out to be my 16 week.

The second time 3 days before my period was due I had a day of light bleeding and felt weird.

I've been pregnant 7 times (5 MC) and the only time i've had it was this time! Had a tiny bit of red/pink spotting on the day my period was due, just when wiping after a wee, then it went slightly brown and that was it. Nothing else.

I had a few brownish dots in my CM. I think it was around 6 days PO which sounds right, you can implant anywhere from 6-12dpo iirc.

Pregnancy 1 - one wipe of rust coloured mucus
Pregnancy 2 - 2 days of very light pinky/ red mucus (ended in miscarriage)
Pregnancy 3 - none

Baby number 4 and never had that

Clare, a midwife, goes through early pregnancy symptoms here - including implantation pain and bleeding. You might find it helpful :)

Mine has varied from a couple of days of bleeding enough to make me think it was my period to a barely noticeable bit of spotting, or none at all. It’s also varied from being around when my period is due to being a bit later on.

I had brown mucus/old blood on the day my period was due. Not sure if it was implantation bleeding as such but that’s the only thing I had x

I had nothing at all.

First baby nothing
Second and third a small amount of pink blood when I wiped on the day AF was due

I didn't have anything before positive test. I had a couple of (non consecutive) days of very light brown spotting in week 5, so after I'd already had my BFP.

I always got about 3 days of brown spotting prior to coming on AF each month, which was normal for me. The month I conceived I still had my usual spotting for 2 days, right on time for when AF should have started. Then on day 3 I had a tiny amount of red blood (like the same as at the very end of your period possibly) which I only noticed on one wipe, then it disappeared completely.
The following evening I got a sort of pink jelly like CM. This wasn't normal so took a test and got a very faint BFP.
I had no further spotting at all after that.

I didn’t have any at all.

Mine was like a short period.

I had nothing with my first three DC and with the two I went on to miscarry but with DC4 I had it.

I thought it was a period starting. It was light pink as the beginning of a pregnancy is but not enough to fill an entire pad. It happened before I went to bed so I put a pad on expecting to wake to my period but it had stopped.
