Anyone spotted any good ones? Thinking it might be a good time to look at getting some of the bigger stuff like a crib/pram/car seat.

And any recommendations for any of the above?

Yep!

If you have a Quidco account (if you’re in the UK) you can also get money back for purchases.

We have started buying bits too, was holding off until the 20 week scan but so far so good so...

We just ordered the Cosatto Giggle Travel System with the ISOFix base last night from Trendbaby - I’ve been keeping an eye on it for couple months across retailers and found it at a great price so ordered it. £473.10 with the base as opposed to £545.

Picked up some items from Baby Gap too online - Extra promotions on sale items and full priced items have a great promo on them too!

Mothercare have a promo so ordered some terry baby grows from there.

Found the Sleepyhead Deluxe Safari version at £90 instead of £130 over at buggybaby.co.uk yesterday so also ordered that.

Keeping an eye out over next day or two for more bits.

Happy shopping 😁😁

@iforgotwhatiwasgoingtosay good call on Amazon! Just found the anticollic set for £90 can get an extra 9% back via Quidco too!

CrystalBlaze · 22/11/2018 09:47

So tempting but I'm only 13 weeks so feel like it's early still..

CrystalBlaze · 22/11/2018 10:06

I know what you mean @fee1234. I'm 18 weeks and want to wait until after the 20 week scan for a lot of stuff as @snoopy18 said, but seems silly not to grab a bargain if there are good ones.

I'm only 14+4 but I think we may not see these deals again so well worth it - I just need a bigger house to store everything! Also the rucomfy bean bags are on offer both the newborn and the newborn to toddler (and their dog beds if your a dog mumma too)

CrabbyPatty · 22/11/2018 10:36

Mothercare have 25 % off baby clothes. We also got discounts on the Tutti Bambini Cozee and 2 way Isofix at Mothercare. The Silver cross Pioneer is reduced to £700 at John Lewis. We paid £700 for our pram (Very lucky to get help from MIL) but I'm regretting not getting the Pioneer.

CrabbyPatty · 22/11/2018 10:38

I'm looking for discounts on Babybjorn carriers.

snoopy18 · 22/11/2018 11:05

@CrabbyPatty I got the classic Baby’s bjorn carrier for £22 via Aldi online not sure if their promo is still on but worth a look :)

Jackshouse · 22/11/2018 11:08

The classic baby bjorn carrier is not recommended because it is not great for little ones hips. I would hold of buying a carrier until you have tried them out. Lots of high street ones are expensive and are not the most comfortable.

snoopy18 · 22/11/2018 11:55

@jackshouse ah right read a lot of positive things about them - will see how we get on

fee1234 · 22/11/2018 14:36

For those thinking of getting a sleepyhead deluxe there is one on a website called The Hut for £104, they are £130 on all the other sites.

KittyMcTitty · 22/11/2018 17:59

Ah this is too tempting! Do I need a Chico next to me???

PurpleFlower1983 · 22/11/2018 18:40

Chicco Next 2 Me £109 or £119 on Amazon.

Domino45 · 22/11/2018 18:45

Thanks ladies for the tip about the Chico next 2 me. I was unsure whether to get this or the Tutti. But with the deal on Amazon I’m leaning towards the Chico

CrystalBlaze · 23/11/2018 08:41

@Kitty I like the idea of them because you can slide the baby in and out of crib to feed without too much disturbance/getting up. Also heard they're good to have if you have a section because no bending/lifting etc

Not the big items, but Best Years have some fantastic reductions on baby rattles, soft toys & blankets. I bought an organic cotton blanket that was reduced from £29.99 to £5! TBH I bought more than one! They have some really cute things - I couldn't resist the crochet comforters and a matching teddy
