Dating scan next week - anyone else?

I've got my dating scan at 11+4 next Tuesday. Read so many threads about people who found out they had a mmc that I'm really nervous about it!

Anyone else got theirs next week? How are you feeling about it?

Mine is next Wednesday. I'm apprehensive but have already had 2 early scans (I'm high risk as last baby arrived at 29 weeks) so I have seen baby and heartbeat. At both scans he was measuring about a week ahead so although ill be exactly 12 weeks I should hopefully measure around 13. How are you feeling?

That must have been awesome seeing the heart beat before! :) Hope this pregnancy will be problem free for you and that baby will wait a bit longer to come out!!

I'm feeling scared but a little excited too. Don't want to get too excited in case we get bad news though :/

Hey at 13 weeks you may be able to get an indication of gender (don't think they're allowed to confirm though?) Are you thinking of finding out at the next scan or waiting till birth? :)

You'll love it; it's really magical and makes it seem real. I still vividly remember the 12 week scan with my ds and it was just lovely. Didn't think to be nervous last time; I was just excited on the day.
They won't say the sex at this stage but yes, I'll find out at 20 weeks. I did the same with ds and never regretted it; it was great knowing and being able to feel bonded and closer to him.

Mines on Monday at 11+3. Really nervous as had a mmc in April at the same gestation. Going to try and spend the weekend not thinking about it (haha who am I trying to kid😫)

Yes I have mine on Tuesday...also nervous as had a mmc last year, have had 2 private scans though at 6wk and 8wk. This next scan is going to hopefully really reassure me enough to feel and get excited!

My scans on Tuesday at 9.30 and I’m very anxious about it. At least it’s early so I don’t have to be anxious all day and I’m working every day up to Tuesday so that should keep me distracted 😀 good luck everyone

Also in the Wednesday club. So nervous. This is my first pregnancy so I don't know how my body will take it, if you get my meaning.

I'm like you op, seen a lot about mmc and worried. Not had any worrying signs so hoping all will be ok. I'm going to be so sick for the next few days as it comes closer.

Mine is on Tuesday. I'll be 11+6 I think. I'm nervous because im 42. Last baby at 38 and all was well but I'm extra nervous this time.

Wow, so many of us have it on Tuesday! Glad to know I'm not the only one who is nervous :)

All of you who've had previous mcs, I'm so sorry for your losses and I hope you will all have brilliant news this week and get some lovely images of your little ones

I only had the one mmc which was last year, 2 previous pregnancies with no issues. It was such a massive shock, so this time I have really not let myself get excited at all until this scan on Tuesday. Then I will be ecstatic if everything confirmed to be ok!! It seems like it's taken so long to get to this point. Very anxious but glad to be finally here.

@momoa80, so sorry you had to go through that! And I agree - Is it me or does time slow down when you're pregnant? Feels like it has taken absolutely forever to get here!

Had my scan today, all is well! So relieved. Bang on for my dates too.

When is your due date? The baby looks like a girl to me, btw! (impossible to tell of course, but I like to guess )

Also, how full does your bladder need to be? I am driving myself to hospital and while it's a short drive, I don't want to do it if I'm dying to wee lol! :S

I drank half a litre of orange juice before I left and then a medium Costa frostino in the waiting room and my bladder seemed to be full enough for them to do the scan. Needed about 6 wees after though 😂

My first scans tomorrow too, will only be 6 weeks. Good luck everyone!

Scan on Friday and so nervous about mmc as its my first pregnancy. Did have a scan at 8 weeks though and saw the heartbeat so hopefully thats a positive. Good luck every one

Scan went well! So happy :) baby was in awkward position so couldn't get great photo but so relieved to see the little heart beating!

Congrats! Mine was fine too saw the heartbeat, I'm 5.6 today, will have another next week as really nervous as history of MMC (and ivf)
