Just found out in 4 weeks pregnant with my 2nd rainbow baby. Was pregnant with 1st in August and unfortunately miscarried. Finding it hard to believe I am again and finding it hard to be positive! :(

@delilah the NHS calculator online asks how long the cycle is, you could try that one X

Delilah7 · 11/11/2018 15:34

@AuntMarch @ContadoraExplorer done it and it gives me a due date of 4 days later which is fine. I think I'm gonna postpone my scan till next week x

Thats not too far away from where you thought you were @delilah7 hope it's put your mind a little more at ease x

Delilah7 · 11/11/2018 19:33

@ContadoraExplorer just concerned I'll be a lot different in scan date :( x x

How is everyone feeling? I'm just over 6 weeks and have no energy 😴 feel exhausted!

stackhead · 12/11/2018 07:53

5+4 here and had my first night of ridiculous vivid dreams. So have no energy but purely from lack of sleep!
I've been doing fine on the energy front until about 8.30/9pm when I just crash. Lots of early nights for me.

I'm also ridiculously hot. I'm a cold person by nature but am walking around without my coat this morning thinking how nice it is Grin

RanchoRelaxo · 12/11/2018 17:10

Hi everyone! I'm doing good, not really exhausted @EmmaBx apart from after 9pm, have been falling asleep on the sofa most nights!
Nearly 5 weeks here, and still peeing on preggo tests like I've got all the money! (Defo haven't haha) but the lines are getting darker still and it comforts me, I have actually ran out now though so maybe I will try and stop 😂
I've been having some weird dreams too @stackhead even had one where I had an affair! I am very happily married by the way😂😂
@Delilah7 please try not to worry, I know how hard it is after a MC honest, but I am just trying to enjoy each day of being pregnant without thinking too much about what could happen, there's nothing I can do to change it! Hugs x

ContadoraExplorer · 12/11/2018 17:33

Five weeks today and feeling pretty tired. The spotting appears to have pretty much gone and still no pain or anything so I'm back to feeling less worried. I have done another FRER that I found hidden away (line darker than previously) and after Saturday ordered some more cheapies to feed my obsession do spot tests to make sure the line is still dark.

One thing i'm finding really hard is keeping my mouth shut. Not many people know yet, don't plan on telling anyone else until the scan and it's torture because people are making plans and I can't tell them there's a strong chance I won't factor into them - anyone else finding that tough?!

EmmaBx · 12/11/2018 18:25

I know what you mean about the crazy dreams lol :) The tiredness really seemed to hit me on Saturday (at 6 week) but I'd had a really hectic week in work. Actually feeling bit better today.....even planning on going to a Strength & Conditioning class tonight Smile

@ContadoraExplorer glad to hear the spotting has gone and you're less worried @RanchoRelaxo I've MADE myself stay away from testing cause I too would be obsessed Grin Have a scan on Friday so hoping for good news then x

Delilah7 · 12/11/2018 18:39

@RanchoRelaxo thanks lovely I'm trying.

So I'm 6 weeks tomorrow! I never got this far before so I'm happy and still abit anxious. Boobs are insanely sore and on my sternum! Back is occasionally twinging too. The occasional cramps but not many. Nausea in mornings and major bloating when I eat. 😂

EmmaBx · 12/11/2018 18:49

@Delilah7 ah, I know what you mean... my MC was at this stage last time 😥 so am keeping everything crossed for Friday. Try not to stress....sending you love 💕

Delilah7 · 12/11/2018 18:51

@EmmaBx thanks Hun, it's actually Thursday but if it's bad news I probably won't update you till Friday anyways 😂 thanks for the kind words ❤️

7 weeks yesterday. Don't feel quite so sick (which actually had me worried when there was no sick feeling at all first thing) but still want to eat all the carbs.

Delilah7 · 12/11/2018 19:38

@AuntMarch woo we are a week apart then! X

@Delilah7 I remember you, we both sadly miscarried at the same time in August. How spooky is this, I have just found out that I’m pregnant again too!
Congratulations, I’m so pleased for you.
I’m not even 4 weeks yet, I tested 5/6 days before my AF is due this Friday/Saturday. Very faint positive on Sunday, going to test again tomorrow to see if the line gets darker. And will probably test every day to ease my anxiety. I am so paranoid about every little cramp, get anxious every time I need the loo because I’m paranoid that there will be blood. I’m trying not to get excited but it’s hard not to.
Really hope my anxiety eases! Think I might see if I can book an early scan for 7/8 weeks.
My 6 year old DS keeps asking me if he can have a brother or sister. Not telling him until at least 12 weeks, but will try and hold out longer than that if I can.
As far as symptoms go, I knew I was pregnant pretty much straight away this time, and I had implantation cramps this time. Really sore boobs, tiredness, and creamy lotion type CM.
Praying for both of us!

HayleyHaystack · 13/11/2018 08:50

How is everyone doing? I’m 7 weeks tomorrow and approaching early scan. Which I’m dreading as in April I had an early scan at 8 weeks with my first which showed that a miscarriage was likely due to the slow heartbeat. And it happened just a few days later. I scarily feel the same as last time, any nausea has passed, boobs feel normal again and I’m very tired but nothing out of the ordinary. Keep going over everything I’ve done since conception, those glasses of wine when of course I didn’t know, I also had an x ray on my leg, lifted heavy stuff ....! urgh I’m beating myself up already. Thinking of all those who are in a similar boat, praying for us that it’s all going to work out this time x

Delilah7 · 13/11/2018 09:59

@Pitterpatter01 congratulations Fingers crossed for us both this time!!

@HayleyHaystack me too approaching mine as it's Thursday! Xx

Good luck @delilah7 for Thursday sending you positive thoughts and healthy vibes! Let us know how you get on.

Delilah7 · 13/11/2018 10:20

Can I also ask - last week I was 5 weeks 3 days and went for a blood test. They've come back at HCG of 1150. Is that good??

OP posts:
Pitterpatter01 · 13/11/2018 11:11

@Delilah7 I’m not sure about HCG levels, sorry! I do think they are completely different for everyone though Smile

ContadoraExplorer · 13/11/2018 11:24

@delila7 this article says it varies quite significantly from person to person and it's more to do with the change in levels over a couple of tests but, from the looks of it, you're within the range x

Hi all just thought I'd jump on too I also found out I'm pregnant last Tuesday! Due in July 😍 it's my second baby and I'm very excited but being honest I don't feel pregnant and I don't feel any different and I can't help but worry as I know now 3 ppl close to me that have had miscarriages with their 2nd babies all of them and I know it sounds crazy but I can't help but worry and with not feeling any different and it not feeling real this time.....it's very odd.....am I just being over paranoid?

ContadoraExplorer · 13/11/2018 13:42
