How late are you for your period xx

Emz887 · 14/10/2018 21:06

Hi, I’m 2 days late x

I’ve done a pink line test - negative
A clear blue digital - negative
3 x Sainsbury’s tests - all positives x

On my mobile you clip on the paper clip picture and then it's a plus sign click that to add the photo xx

trevormcdonald · 14/10/2018 23:31

Were all of the positive tests positive in the specified time?

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 06:48

Hi, thanks everyone... I don’t have the paper clip in the phone... I phone, Yes alll tests were Sainsbury’s tests, still no sign of my period this morning xx
Should I go to the doctors? I’m on adult ache pills... which strongly advise no pregnancies during my course. The Sainsbury’s tests all had a faint line but a definite line.. thanks xxx

Is the pink dye test a first response? If not I would buy one. I have found these very accurate. I have had false positives with blue dye tests.

LittleDoveLove · 15/10/2018 06:55

Hi @Emz887 are you a new user? You have to wait 48 hours to upload a pic if so x

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 06:58

Hi, it was a just a coop own brand one, I have downloaded the app.. I have the option to add photos now.. it just advises as I'm a new user I cannot add photos as yet and to try again later, I feel if clear blue said not pregnant then I should just roll with that? I've never had a bad clear blue before.. confiding why I feel I see a faint line in the other tests xx

If you’re on acne meds then yes you need to see a GP as a matter of urgency, my friend and to sign a waiver saying she wouldn’t get pregnant while she took roaccutane before they would prescribe them as they can cause some pretty serious problems to the fetus.

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 07:01

Ahh yes that will be why... I joined last night xx I'll add photos once 48 hours is up... It's going to be a looong 48 hours 🙈

It may be that particular brand. I had a few false positives. I have also had a false negative however with clear blue as I believe their hpt level is higher than first response. I was testing before a missed period however.

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 07:06

Ahhh ok... I didn't have to sign anything, my doctor simply asked over the phone am I pregnant or not? I'll go wait outside the doctors this morning before the school run to ensure I get an appointment - obv stopped taking the pills as soon as my period was late x

I've used Sainsburys own and got two positives... I am pregnant so in my case they were accurate.

I wonder if it's just because it's still quite early.

Lilbear14 · 15/10/2018 07:48

I've had bad experiences with Sainsbury's tbh. Got really strong evaporation lines in the past on several. They've caused a lot of upset and I even sent a complaint to them about it as it wasn't a nice experience.

And as for clear blue, I took two on the same say one said pregnant one said not pregnant. It depends on your urine. I am pregnant btw haha.

kmreeve · 15/10/2018 07:53

I would take a First Response pregnancy test ( pink box, pink dye) you'll be able to trust the result that it gives you x

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 08:09

So... I took another test this morning with coops early sign test.. pink dye. And it's extremely clear it's a negative - still no signs of my period. I'm starting to think chemical pregnancy? That or the 3 Sainsbury's test I took over the last couple of days are all false positives.

OP posts:
Lilbear14 · 15/10/2018 08:26

If you Google Sainsbury's tests you will see a lot of other ladies with the same thing too.
Won't ever forget how upset I was.
I would leave it a few more days to see if AF arrives, it's hard I know. Xx

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 09:31

I feel I may get some more to see if still showing faint positives also a few different ones too and use the same wee sample ... just want to know 😩

Lilbear14 · 15/10/2018 09:52

Try the cheapies from pound shops and other cheap stores. They have been good with me. It's what picked up my current pregnancy 3 days early.

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 09:59

Ok good idea 👍🏻

Emz887 · 15/10/2018 10:51

So I've done my 4th test from
Sainsbury's and there is a faint line again... I check the window and the line is definitely there before hand... going to go to the pound shops to get other types now. Still waiting for a doctors appointment...xx
