Bloody hell. I'm 20 weeks and DP has been on a stag so haven't seen him for a week. I went to pick him up from the airport and he says omg you're huge infront of all his mates ffs. It's been a week and I'm not huge at all

Well, you’re pregnant. You’re growing a human. The aim is for you to get bigger. How could this possibly be seen as an insult? You’re not fat. You’re pregnant. Huge isn’t an insult any more. It means your body is doing its job.

Bumps grow when you’re pregnant, that’s kind of the point. I don’t think anyone in the airport would have cared.
‘Huge’ isn’t the nicest word but I really couldn’t get worked up about this. He wasn’t saying you’re fat, he was saying your bump has grown.

It's just one of those things people say when you're pregnant. Not desperately polite but everyone knows what a pregnancy looks like. Having said that I was desperately sensitive all the way through my pregnancy so I'm going to jet you be offended anyway

I liked being called huge wrt bump. It was rather an impressive thing to grow.

If he was genuinely just referring to your bump I wouldn't mind at all. I am twenty weeks and I am huge all over, in my case if someone said that it would be likely they meant my huge arms, thighs and bum and I would be most offended.

I'm 22 weeks I just happened to glance in a mirror today and nearly had a heart attack my bump seems to have grown loads overnight 🙈 I swear I'm bigger than I should be but I think so many people feel like that. I've been told just to enjoy every minute our bodies are just doing what they were made to do
