My bump is ridiculous! This is my 2nd child and I didn't look this pregnant at 5 months the last time!

@mikewazowskimrs I certainly feel like I have a massive bump already. Certainly won't be able to hide it for much longer. But to be honest with how hungry I've been, I feel it could just be extra weight rather than bump. Will find out soon enough 😂

Just had 3 very strong positive tests... you would think that's great... however here is the confusing bit, they were taken at 6pm, I'm only 9dpo and on cycle day 21? Could they be false positives? I can't work out how to add a pic?

I had my positive at 9dpo so it’s possible, congratulations

Had my scan today, they put me back to 12+6 so due now 24 may, can't add pictures for some reason they never work. But got some really good images

Has everyone's sickness/tiredness passed now? Mine has but my boobs are so sore still. Also my appetite is back and I'm hungry all the time!

Sickness is starting to fade, but the tiredness is still bad. By 7pm I just don’t have any energy left at all!

With ye on the sore boobs stills.. it's ridiculous! I find my appetite comes and goes some days I can't be filled and could eat all round and other days want very little

Feel crap today ladies, I’m being made redundant on the 7th December and the job centre lady they got in to talk to everyone doesn’t think I’m going to be able to get a job after because I’m pregnant 😔😔 I was worried about that 😒😒 fudge sticks

I wonder if there is precedent for this kind of situation where you want to be in work and was in work that you could still claim SMP? I know you have to be with a company a certain amount of time before being eligible but it wasn't your intention to not be!
Maybe CAB would be able to advise?

What field are you in? Is there scope to temp for a few months in a similar company?

I work in retail so I’m sure there will be some Christmas temporary jobs going but I am very worried but have buried my head in the sand a bit. I don’t think I’d be able to get smp at all but the lady said about claiming universal credit but I’d like to avoid that if I can. And it doesn’t help that my husband works for the same company as me so he’s being made redundant as well but I’m not so worried because he’s fork lift trained and I’m sure he’ll get another job quickly.
