I think I've got a water infection, need to pee constantly but nothing is coming out and it hurts when it does, feel so poorly as well not sure whether to wait til tomorrow and go doctors or call 111 ?

CeeCee88 · 04/11/2018 18:42

@lovewinemorethanhusband that sounds a lot like a UTI. Phone the docs tomorrow, they'll sort you out. Hope you feel better soon x

Mummytoboyxx · 05/11/2018 08:29

Good luck to those having their scans this week. Looking forward to hearing some positive stories 😁

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 05/11/2018 16:30

Ended up admitted to hospital on Sunday night due to water infection and due to the fact I'm allergic to lots of the safe antibiotics they decided it was safer to admit me and give IV antibiotics, even though it was absolutely pants experience it was made better as I had a scan on my kidneys and the lady gave me a quick view of baby kicking away which was really nice of her as my scan isn't until 15th so she said it was like a little preview

RiverMeadow · 05/11/2018 20:52

Sickness has passed over here too, finally! I have my scan 2 weeks today and I'll be 13 weeks! X

Mummytoboyxx · 06/11/2018 04:58

Sorry to hear you’ve been in hospital @Lovewinemorethanhusband. But how lovely you got to see baby a bit early. Hope you feel better soon 😘

RiverMeadow · 06/11/2018 07:03

@Lovewinemorethanhusband oops missed that you'd been in hospital. I'm pleased everything's ok with baby and hope you feel better soon xx

CeeCee88 · 06/11/2018 07:13

@lovewinemorethanhusband glad you're on the mend and what a nice thing to do from the scan lady. That's lovely!
I've had a bit of a scare yesterday morning as I fainted on the train into work due to overheating. Not the most pleasant thing to happen. Thankfully it was just as we were pulling into the station and there were some people helping me out.
I'm not going to be ashamed to ask for a seat going forward and am now always going to carry some water with me too.

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 06/11/2018 10:49

Thanks girls feeling loads better today thankfully. @ceecee must of been horrible fainting , defo ask for a seat in future and carry water also. Good luck to everyone having scans this week I think there's quite a few if I remember rightly xx

Countrygirl94 · 06/11/2018 14:52

@lovewinemorethanhusband Sorry to hear you were in hospital, glad you'e on the mend a feeling better now. And how lovely to get a sneak peak at baby!
@ceecee88 Oh how horrible fainting - Defo make sure you always ask for a seat.

Countrygirl94 · 06/11/2018 14:57

Also anyone else got really shitty skin and hair just now?
I've got spots and greasy hair - feel like a teenager! And I do not have the energy to wash my hair everyday so high buns it is, fully expected my hair and skin to be wonderful when pregnant - totally disappointed.

Bouncer4me · 06/11/2018 16:25

Hey ladies I had my 12 week scan this morning and thankfully everything is going well and little one was dancing about a lot 😀

Mummytoboyxx · 06/11/2018 19:35

Great news @Bouncer4me 😁

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 06/11/2018 20:05

@bouncer4me, fab news XXX

Bouncer4me · 07/11/2018 07:41

Thanks ladies 😀😀

CeeCee88 · 07/11/2018 12:36

Yay! Congrats @Bouncer4me that's fantastic news!! My scan is still 2 weeks away but we're away on holiday for a week just before, so I'm hoping that will make the time go faster. :)

Thanks @lovewinemorethanhusband and @countrygirl94 - the fainting really wasn't fun. But I'm getting an earlier train now, which has seats and I have my bottle of water with me too. Hopefully it won't happen again.

Completely forgot to say we've finally told our families last weekend and they were super excited for us. I'm delighted. :)

Floofsquidge · 07/11/2018 15:13

Not sure where you are @CeeCee88 but you can order "baby on board" London Underground badges free from TFL website that are supposed to alert that you may need a seat.

CeeCee88 · 07/11/2018 15:34

Oh thank you @floofsquidge - I might do that!
I'm in Glasgow - but at least a badge would make people not be cross with me if I ask for a seat...

RiverMeadow · 07/11/2018 21:48

Congratulations @Bouncer4me

@CeeCee88 I'm glad you're feeling better now. I remember feeling really ill on the train a few weeks ago! It's so busy and stuffy!

Mikewazowskismrs · 08/11/2018 06:51

@Bouncer4me amazing news Grin

@CeeCee88 that’s awful hope your doing ok.

Got a feeling well still have to ask for a seat even when we’ve all got bumps because no one looks up from their bloody phones on the train!

Countrygirl94 · 12/11/2018 09:34

Good luck to all the scans this week, I know there is quite a few.
@mummytoboyxx your scan is tomorrow like me isn't it?
Feeling very anxious today, nightmares last night have made me uneasy - always the same idea trying to get somewhere but can't get there.

buntingandstarcharts · 12/11/2018 10:54

@Countrygirl94 mine is tomorrow too! I'm so nervous! I can't bear it. What time is yours ❤️❤️

Countrygirl94 · 12/11/2018 11:16

@buntingandstarcharts luckily mines is first thing 9:15, so I don't have to hang on all day. It's really nerving though! What time is yours?

Mummytoboyxx · 12/11/2018 12:08

@buntingandstarcharts and @Countrygirl94 mine is at 9.10 tomorrow. I’ve had so many sleepless nights thinking about it. I never worried with my DS, but for some reason I’m really anxious about tomorrow. Fingers crossed for us all xx

Lorrie3 · 12/11/2018 12:09

Best of luck ladies I had my scan on Friday and was beside myself with nerves the week leading up if not longer and it was such a happy and positive experience! Fingers crossed for you all
