@Youvegotafriendinme thank you, it is their third but my OHs first so it was really emotional.

I have been trying to find out about the maternity exemption as I'm sure I was given the form on my first midwife appointment last pregnancy but I didn't get anything this time (and forgot to ask) and I really need a few of my teeth looking at as my teeth and gums are already turning to poop.
I'm going to ask at my 12 week scan, because even if they can't give me one there they should be able to tell me where to get one from.

dreaminofholidays · 29/10/2018 20:54

ah sorry, misread that. I got my exemption email sent in my checking in app xx

buntingandstarcharts · 30/10/2018 19:49

@SafariGirl100 I hope your scan went ok xx

Youvegotafriendinme · 31/10/2018 09:30

@SafariGirl100 hope everything is ok with you and your scan went well.

Thanks for al your reply’s. I don’t see my consultant again until middle of November so might ring my local children’s clinic and ask them. I’m desperate to go to the dentist and would be helpful if I had my card.

I have my scan today at 2:40. Have that same feeling as when I was pregnant with DS that I’ll get there and be told I was wrong which I know is irrational but I can’t help it Confused

Anyone else got dating scans coming up?

Countrygirl94 · 31/10/2018 12:49

@youvegotafriendinme hope all goes well today with your scan today!

My scan is still another 13 days away haha.

Is anyone else getting the flu jab? I'm a bit undecided about if I am going to get it or not as I know some people end up feeling rubbish afterwords.

Floofsquidge · 31/10/2018 13:12

@Countrygirl94 my scan is in 12 days!
I've had the flu jab and strongly recommend it from my own experience of what can go wrong if you don't.
I am offered it every year on nhs as I have asthma. Last year I didn't yet round to it, I'm otherwise fit & healthy, but was sick and bed bound early this year for 4 weeks with Aussie Flu and utterly useless for another month. The jab doesn't stop all strains, but I'm told had I had the jab it would not have been as severe. I was unbelievably lucky. Had I been pregnant then, it may have been a different story.
Had the jab on Saturday and other than feeling a bit like a bruise if you touch it I'm fine. No more knackered than I've been over the last 11 weeks, and def not any more sick/rubbish.

Lorrie3 · 31/10/2018 14:47

@countrygirl94 I was in two minds about the flu jab but I had a cold last week , just a usual cold not flu, and I felt so awful and was useless for a week couldn’t really function it affected me much worse than had I not been pregnant so it made my mind up to get the jab as I wouldn’t like to see the possible
Consequences of a flu!

Countrygirl94 · 31/10/2018 15:11

@Floofsquide @Lorrie3 I think you are both right. And that flu you had last year sounds awful! I will end up getting it, really don't want to get the flu.
I think what also made me think is my midwife didn't seem for the flu jab, she gave me the leaflet and said the world health organisation recommends you get this but she kinda thought it was a hit or a miss kinda thing.

Youvegotafriendinme · 31/10/2018 17:28

I had my scan and unfortunately baby had stopped growing about 4 weeks ago. I’ve got to have it removed tomorrow morning.
Hope everything still goes well for everyone else

Lovewinemorethanhusband · 02/11/2018 14:56

How is everyone doing ? Think we've passed the sickness stage hopefully, looking forward to my scan on 15th but also nervous with the news that some have had recently x

buntingandstarcharts · 02/11/2018 17:12

@Lovewinemorethanhusband I am the same as you, grateful that it's almost 12 week time but extremely apprehensive that it may not be good news especially as the others had a heartbeat in the early scans 😪😪 so awful xxx

Mikewazowskismrs · 02/11/2018 17:26

@Lovewinemorethanhusband I’m the exact same. Scan on 16/11 but such sad news for others and you can’t help but worry Sad

Hopefully the next couple of weeks will fly in for us all.

Mummytoboyxx · 03/11/2018 17:38

We travelled back from Dubai today...and omg the sickness! I’ve never felt so bad. And don’t get me started on the smell of the plane food 🤢

And I’m the same with the worrying. My scan is on the 13th when I’ll be nearly 13 weeks but I’m already feeling so anxious about it xx

Lorrie3 · 03/11/2018 19:17

Anybody suffering from restless legs and leg cramps its super irritating!!

alienm · 04/11/2018 10:20

@Lorrie3 I sometimes do, often another glass of water helps relieve.
