So sickness, muscle pain etc is always talked about but they don't warn you about fun little things like getting hives.

My back and stomach feel like I could scratch them off.

Turns out that my new ability to park wonkily is also down to hormones Sad I was good at parking before.

Hand in hand with the parking... lack of spacial awareness.

I keep walking into things!

NotTakenUsername · 04/09/2018 16:00

Yes clumsiness.

Going up two shoe sizes (not an exaggeration) because of swelling.

NotTakenUsername · 04/09/2018 16:00

Insomnia and exhaustion at the same time.

TheMagicTorch · 04/09/2018 16:09

@NotTakenUsername - this! I'm only 7 weeks and I'm shattered but can't sleep.

Also occasionally suffering with hives, particularly my back.

For me (TMI alert) swinging between diarrhoea and constipation😷

NotTakenUsername · 04/09/2018 16:14

Oh yea... it’s not fun! Well some women love it don’t they? I’m not one of them!

birdybirdbird · 04/09/2018 16:16

How much it can hurt when the baby moves! I’m
not sure if it’s just because I’m very petite so there’s not a lot of room in there, but I’ve found that it really hurts when the baby kicks since about 34 weeks. Does anyone else find that or have I just got some kind of pro-wrestler in there?!

SlimGin · 04/09/2018 16:17

Following the diarrhoea theme - the sudden need to go to the toilet NOW. Also really big nipples. And changes down below that I can only describe as prep for the big event. Really realistic dreams that I get confused with real life.

NotTakenUsername · 04/09/2018 16:18

I find it very sore when they move. Especially when they get the bladder or something. Or really push out so much that you can see the outline of their limb in your stomach. Envy

TheMagicTorch · 04/09/2018 16:19

@SlimGin - this! I get no warning now! Just suddenly need to dash

WhirlingTurkey · 04/09/2018 16:20

Snot. Extra snot and bogeys. Yuck!

SlimGin · 04/09/2018 16:23

@themagictorch - yes it made me very relieved for Mat leave. Perhaps yours is a first trimester thing!

moonlight1705 · 04/09/2018 16:29

Oh good! I am so glad its not just me being weird and we all get these things.

Thinking about it, I also get the rushing to toilet thing.

Increased discharge.
Hormonal acne.
Flatulence.

Pregnancy is so glamorous.

Athers666 · 04/09/2018 17:15

Farting unexpectedly when laughing or coughing!😣

Jigglyjugs · 04/09/2018 17:21

Oh I didn't realise my awful parking was down to pregnancy! I did wonder what on earth had gone wrong with mine Grin.
I keep waking up with stringy bits around my mouth (gross) which I assume is dried dribble. And extra fine hair all over my stomach, ridiculously fast growing eyebrows plus a darker 'tache than usual Blush

R7589 · 04/09/2018 17:22

Agree with the insomnia and fatigue! Was still up at 3 this morning wondering where my hair straighteners were but at 3 this afternoon I was sitting at work totally exhausted trying to do training!

The whole peezing (peeing while sneezing GrinBlush) is getting on my nerves too no matter how many bloody exercises I do!

AliceRR · 04/09/2018 17:26

More hair including on my chin!

Wind, constipation, upset stomach

Lightheadedness

Palpitations (not sure if this is just me - I will mention to MW on thurs)

Excess ear wax - had to have Microsuction at the weekend

Pains in weird places

sexnotgender · 04/09/2018 17:29

Discharge!! WTF is that all about?

My pubes have gone crazy as well, might need to strim them at this rate!

AliceRR · 04/09/2018 17:30

@sexnotgender I worry I have already let myself go in that department 🤣

CrabbyPatty · 04/09/2018 17:31

Bum hair..... :/ as noticed by poor husband.

Notquiteagandt · 04/09/2018 17:35

Hairy belly 🤢
Nose constantly running
Itchy eyes
Waxy ears
That my hips will click alot
That my hair would fall out
That my hair would go really dry

But the biggest one for me was hyperemesis. Id never even heard of it before pregnancy 😭 so was a big shock to the system

SparkyBlue · 04/09/2018 17:37

I am in very early pregnancy and I had a big moan to my gp this morning about this very subject. It's a surprise pregnancy and when he was asking me what worried me about it I said it was really all the little niggles. It's not the birth that bothers me it's the months of my body just acting totally weird. My feet have never fully gotten back to normal after my last pregnancy and I am dreading the whole swollen feet thing.

surreygirl1987 · 04/09/2018 17:44

Nosebleeds
Acid reflux
Difficulty breathing (baby crushing lungs!)
Inability to eat big meals
Diahorrea and constipation

Pregnancy is a beautiful thing ....

sexnotgender · 04/09/2018 17:54

Oh the breathlessness! How could I forget. Single flight of stairs and I feel like I need a lie down.

sirmione16 · 04/09/2018 17:56

All of the above. Forgetfulness! Im making so many mistakes it's like wtf. And so many times I've forgotten things which usually I simply wouldn't. It's frustrating
