Hello! I haaaaate having to wait to take a test, it seems to be all I can think about! So anyway, I have been TTC for a few months now, and tried twice this ovulation. I am due on my period in 10 days. Since trying I have had nothing but cramps, backache, insomnia, acid reflux, extra discharge and a general heavy feeling down below. I tried not to read too much into it but today, my stomach has ballooned like a bowling ball! I actually look several months pregnant. I've also been peeing more than normal. I'm interested to hear if anyone else had symptoms like these before receiving a positive test so please let me know what you experienced Grin

Although I really don't want to get your hopes up , yeah I did , my first major symptoms were constantly having to pee and sore boobs and lots of cramps!

Ooh maybe I'm on the right track Then! I read that sometimes a woman's body can reject sperm as if they are allergic which can cause cramps so I'm praying it's not that (it would be my luck). Im just so nervous about coming on my period I'll be gutted lol

I didnt have any symptoms... or so I thought. Id eaten a prawn tikka masala from lidl and it knocked me ill, and i love prawns, i love tikka masala, and rice, so whats to hate?

Anyway id felt ill pretty much while I was still eating it, and sick for the next couple of days. Put it down to bad batch. Noticed I was late(a month later-#veryobservant
..) thought what the hell, took a test expectimg a BFN and got a HUGE BFP! all my symptoms pretty much started after that, bigger nipples(not boobs Sad) nausea, exhaustion, food aversion, still going strong now at 17+6 'xxx

I think I'm right in saying most women experience early pregnancy cramps , mines were quite painful! Are you tracking the symptoms ? Please keep us updated Grin when are you going to test?

Yes I'm tracking the symptoms it's just so confusing as most of them can be related to PMS lol. The thing is tests never work with me. When I was pregnant with my son (he's 6), I took 3 tests and all of them came back negative. I didn't find out I was pregnant until nearly 13 weeks as I had to go for a blood test and even when I got a positive blood test I still got a negative pregnancy test haha!! I'm due on the 13th so I'll take a test on the 14th and if nothing by the week after I think a GP apt Grin

Hi guys just a quick update. For 2 days I haven't been able to drink coffee it just tasted like sour milk. I went to my friends house yesterday and her coffee tasted fine. I've been and purchased that brand today and it tastes fine, how Strange! I couldn't eat dinner last night as it tasted awful even though my son said it was fine. So about 8pm last night I was a bit hungry and went to cook a bacon sandwich. About 5 minutes into cooking a huge wave of nausea flooded over me and all of a sudden I got really dizzy, everything started spinning and my son had to help me to bed. My ears were ringing too. Are these good signs?? I'm scared to test early as I don't want to be disappointed :(

A good sign is a positive pregnancy test.

OP, how many DPO are you? When is your period due?
I don’t want to get your hopes up but I got my positive pregnancy test on the day after my period was due, and for several days prior to that my symptoms were things tasting and smelling different or stronger, and bad cramps particularly in my back and my period pains used to only ever be in the front.
However, many pregnancy symptoms can be the same as PMS symptoms which could be causing your bloating etc so try not to look too far into it.
If your period is due very soon (such as the next two or three days) if you tested using a First Response test it would probably give you a positive result, if you are pregnant.

Just found out I'm pregnant with number 2!! Really delighted but also feeling a little anxious. I suffered HG though my last pregnancy; vomitting so much that I'd often puke blood! My baby then arrived at 29 weeks and spent 8 weeks in NICU, needed brain surgery etc. It was such a tough time. I also now work 2 jobs and my lo is 17 months old (14.5 adjusted). I've no idea what lies ahead but at under 4 weeks (only got my positive yesterday!) I'm already pretty nauseus. Anyway, I'm just nervous about what lies ahead really!
Anyone experienced hg or prem birth with their first but not with their second?

Gobletoffire, I'm 9DPO. I know it's early, but I certainly feel different. Pregnancy tests didn't work on me last time so I'm a bit unsure whether to just go and get blood work done next week, then again trying to get a doctor's appointment is like getting blood from a stone haha

I startthink d getting cramps the day after my ovulation date, this wasn’t normal for me I never got cramps until the day I was due on...I’m now 16 weeks pregnant. I also stared with hot flushes before I was due on also which again was unusual.

It could definitely be a symptom of pregnancy but also could just be sickness , I had severe HG when pregnant so I've no idea about normal pregnancy sickness , sorry Sad

I had definitely started having weird back cramps by 9DPO and a different sense of smell and taste. People told me it was way too early for any symptoms but I knew I felt different. And I turned out to be pregnant!

I had symptoms for days before bfp then got a faint positive on a frer at 10dpo so it can happen. Why not buy a 2 pack of frer and test tomorrow morning and then a few days later if bfn
