Hello! I haaaaate having to wait to take a test, it seems to be all I can think about! So anyway, I have been TTC for a few months now, and tried twice this ovulation. I am due on my period in 10 days. Since trying I have had nothing but cramps, backache, insomnia, acid reflux, extra discharge and a general heavy feeling down below. I tried not to read too much into it but today, my stomach has ballooned like a bowling ball! I actually look several months pregnant. I've also been peeing more than normal. I'm interested to hear if anyone else had symptoms like these before receiving a positive test so please let me know what you experienced Grin

Hi, AF is due today. I've got an upset stomach and some minor cramps but nothing but discharge. Good sign? I hope. I have my driving test today so that could account for the bad stomach. If no AF I'll test tomorrow although I don't have much hope in home tests lol

Good luck on your driving test! Fingers crossed for you!

xoxjoloxox · 13/09/2018 13:25

I failed haha

firsttimebabybirther · 14/09/2018 15:08

Better luck next time OP , I can't seem to pass mine either Grin

xoxjoloxox · 14/09/2018 15:59

It wasn't my fault and even the driving examiner agreed it wasn't my fault but as he grabbed the wheel it's an instant fail. Was so annoyed lol. Anyway I tested this morning and I swear I saw a very very faint line for a positive result but it Could've been my eyes playing tricks on Me! Symptoms now are veiny boobs, itchy nipples, headaches and extremely tired. Plus lots of white discharge TMI sorry! AF is now 2 days late and no cramps to say she's on her way. I'll test again tomorrow and if negative and still no AF by Monday, I'll be at the doctors :)

Hi OP. Sorry to hear about your driving test, I failed too before I finally managed to pass so keep persevering! I always say if I can do it then anyone can Grin
Have you tested using a FRER? If your period is due and you are pregnant then it would give you a strong line by now. Unless you ovulated later than you thought xx

Flatasapancakenow · 14/09/2018 16:14

What's a FRER? I'm in a similar situation to OP, although I can't test until next week. The waiting kills me!

Flatasapancakenow · 14/09/2018 16:17

Ah I see. Just googled and enlightened myself!

xoxjoloxox · 14/09/2018 16:52

I haven't used a FRER but I'm a bit dubious as I was taking tests with my son and they were negative, went for a blood test and it was positive..a week later I had a scan and I was 12 weeks and 4 days! I took a home test straight after the scan and still got a negative Shock they just do not seem to like Me!

OP posts:
firsttimebabybirther · 15/09/2018 23:08

Did you test again?

xoxjoloxox · 16/09/2018 10:16

Haven't tested again as I'm just going to go for a blood test tomorrow. If that comes back positive I'll do a home test and bet it still comes out negative 😂 just my luck. 4 days late though!

Frizzy1986 · 16/09/2018 10:33

Interested to see how you get on. I'm 1-3 days late depending on what app I check and nothing but white creamy discharge. Haven't had the sore enlarged boobs I usually get before af, have had slight cramping almost everyday since CD 16. I'm getting a bfn though (even on a frer) so assuming I'm not pg and am just having a long cycle or something. Never happened once in my life and I'm 33. Only time I've ever been later than 27 days was when pg with dd

xoxjoloxox · 16/09/2018 11:04

Ooh when are you going to test again? It's hard because so many symptoms can just be AF still. That's why I'm going to get a blood test, I can't deal with the well I still could be scenario especially as I'm starting uni next week so I need to know lol!

OP posts:
firsttimebabybirther · 16/09/2018 11:17

I've got literally identical dates / signs to OP which is what interested me in this threat so much. So now 4 days late but had all negative tests , not actively trying as I have a 6m old but I'm actually a bit gutted to see negatives so definitely making me think about trying again!

Frizzy1986 · 16/09/2018 13:15

@xoxjoloxox I don't know when/if I bother testing now for a while. Getting odd cramps still that feel period like but I've been having them for a while now with af not showing yet.
I only have one frer and 3 ics left and don't really want to waste them considering everything has shown up negative so far. It's frustrating as I tend to be 24-26 days, then when we started ttc I went to 26-27 days consistently with spotting right before af (although that meant month 1 was frustrating as never had spotting before and my cycle extended a bit too) and now month 7 and I'm cd29 with nothing. It's like WTF!

xoxjoloxox · 16/09/2018 13:59

@frizzy yes it's definitely frustrating. For me I just don't seem to be able to get a positive on a home test even when I am. Apparently it's rare but does happen. Are going to test again on a few days if no AF?

OP posts:
xoxjoloxox · 16/09/2018 14:00

@firsttime it is very frustrating seeing negatives knowing you still could be! I'm now having mild cramps with creamy discharge but still runny. Certainly something off for me amongst headaches and constant fatigue. Hopefully I can get in at the doctors for a blood test and I'll know in a few days! When will you be testing again?

OP posts:
Frizzy1986 · 16/09/2018 15:07

@xoxjoloxox yes I probably will. Feeling rather heavy in my stomach (but that'll be all the s*&t I've eaten this week due to stress - possibly pg and accepting a new job haha) and getting a bit of heartburn which was a sign for me last time. However I think it's probably just me feeling things because im late.
Tbh it's easier if I'm not as Id feel awful starting a new job, but after 7 months ttc I don't want to wish away a possible child either. Not like I'm getting younger or anything!

firsttimebabybirther · 16/09/2018 16:00

@xoxjoloxox Definitely frustrating , will be having the "another one?" Chat with OH I think Grin I'm pretty certain AF is on its merry way to me so probably leave it another good few days if it's a no show .

Really routing for you , hoping you get the answer you want Grin

Frizzy1986 · 16/09/2018 20:10

Well I think af is on her way. Think I see a slight pink tinge to my cm. At least that means I can close off this month. Weird that I've not had swollen boobs etc but I guess that's what our bodies do, random s**t

firsttimebabybirther · 17/09/2018 16:15

...well? Sorry I'm far too invested Grin

xoxjoloxox · 17/09/2018 22:50

Hi guys, sorry for the delay, uni has started again! I had a doctors appointment he refused to send me for a blood test until I was 2 weeks late. Which is fair enough. I've got to take a urine sample in in the morning though so fingers crossed Grin

Hi I need some advice.... yesterday around 2pm I took a pregnancy test after feeling dizzy, sicky and tired for a couple of weeks.
The test came up with a very very faint positive line (it was light pink in colour.)
I did a test a couple of hours later which came up with what looked like an evaporation mark becasue it was colourless.
I woke up at 5am today and did another test and it seems to be negative.
The first day of my last period was 30th August so if I’m pregnant it would only be 2 weeks. I’m not due on until next week now.
Am I pregnant and it’s too early to tell on a test???

firsttimebabybirther · 18/09/2018 14:13

How many dpo are you? And when would conception be ? probably best to wait as frustrating as it is! Or you could try a digital but might not be enough HCG to trigger that yet , best to wait until the first day of your missed period!

firsttimebabybirther · 21/09/2018 14:42

How are things going , hope AF hasn't showed yet. She did show for me in the end but OH now on board with trying again , maybe we are crazy, we have a 6 m old are in the middle of buying a house Grin
