Please help is this positive?

Hi ladies,

Will try not to ramble but I need some help from other eyes so any comments will be appreciated. This is my second post, me and dp have been trying to conceive for 15 months. I posted on here in July as I have my first ever positive (all tests have been so blank) was over the moon but unfortunately this ended in a cp at just over 4 weeks, absolutely devastated. Now a month on I don't know whether my eyes are playing tricks on me. I classed the last bleed (cp) as my period so I'm due the 3rd of September but had the urge to test as similar symptoms as last month just not as strong. You ladies were very supportive with your opinions on my last post so please give me your thoughts to if I'm imagining this. Many thanks in advance, pictures are as good as I could get xx

@Deller123 yep I'm the same. I have a stock of clear blue (because I'm obsessive I have gone through hundreds of tests and bought more 😆) but not going anywhere near them. I suspect I'm right at the beginning just probably after implantation so only ones I know that will show it is early response. I'm off to go get another box of them cause I need to confirm it so I don't feel like I'm going nuts 😂

@ragingmama84 how many weeks do you think you are? Have you done a cb digital yet? Xx

@Deller123 hey, god I think I'm probably only one week haha well depends they date you from your last period or miscarriage in my case which would make me three weeks but I'm not haha I know it's been four weeks since my miscarriage so technically I was expecting my period as mine as always been a bit evil and always every 4 weeks and normally very heavy, and yesterday reason I took another test (I had been watching my hcg levels disappear to make sure the next test I did would actually mean positive...it's evil that you suffer a mc then the hcg levels remain tricking you ) was that I had what felt like period cramps, no sore breasts though since the mc, but my lower back and tummy felt like it was time of the month then a tiny bit of brown spotting, to be honest I didn't think it would be that positive. But I know two days ago I did a cb digital and it said not pregnant, I've never got a positive off them till I'm at least four weeks by my count. So I don't really wanna touch the cb for a few weeks cause it'll panic me 😆 the bloody internet has made pregnancy a very stressful and paranoid time, before my first pregnancy I had never heard of missed miscarriage (which sent me insane during my first convinced I had lost the baby) or chemical pregnancy's etc. With the net you can obsess so easily and stress yourself out. So I always suggest early response to people. I've got a load getting delivered via amazon today haha just to triple check

@ragingmama84 wow all sounds very similar. I found out I was pregnant (first time) 26/7/18 and lost it on the 1/8/18. I was really sick and had many symptoms which I felt was far too early for. This time I haven't had really any but too days late and maybe slightly postings tests. Are you going to do a digital?? Hahaha how funny! So have I, they have been delivered today I get obsessed that all I'm doing is weeing on sticks all the time xx

Yeah really similar. See this time I feel like I'm about to have my period but each day it isn't showing up. I had that good positive test which I did randomly sort of mid morning and hadn't drank hardly anything. Then next two days kept doing them almost killing myself stupidly and they are faint but my urine is faint and not waiting that king to urinate. So I have no idea what's happening now. I keep checking thinking my period is starting and it's not there. I don't want to go to the dr about it cause it'll be a blood test (and that'll take a lot of pushing for them to do it) and come back days later and knowing them won't know anyway and send me for a scan but what I've learnt is early scans do not help you they make you more worried this early on. I don't have sore boobs or anything which always freaks me out as I had them with first pregnancy and the failed pregnancy shortly, but then that could just not be for this pregnancy. Have you had any more symptoms and tests

@Deller123 oh and I'm too scared to do digital as I know it's so early on and cb can't detect anything early. I've got one sitting in my bathroom along with cheap bought tests and early response my partner said how many you buying we'll be broke lol oh and ovulation tests but I never seem to register on ovulation tests or I miss the exact time but I obviously ovulate lol 😆

@ragingmama84 that sounds quite positive I reckon!! It's so hard ain't it. I felt I was going to come on 2 days ago but then it went, yesterday my nips🤭😂were really sensitive and odd feeling so I thought again I would come on and today nothing! What tests are you using? Wonder why they are still faint you must be too early. And when was you due? X

@Deller123 ha I see positive signs then I'm like no think like. It's negative cause otherwise I'll breakdown if I get all hyped up like "yes pregnant" and I'm not. You know. That miscarriage although early around 7-10 weeks (I'm sure I was 10 and the baby died at 7) pretty much destroyed me, but I didn't get to wallow cause of my 2 year old who had the worst two weeks of her life. She's very much a mummy's girl as my oh has two kids from previous and she's cling to me. She was at the scan and freaked out my partner tried to take her out but make her worse. She was just so worried that something was wrong with me. So I don't want to put her through that again. They did the whole can't find a heartbeat but come back next week so a week of hell. So now I just want to be pregnant again. And you see signs but I just can't help but feel like my boobs should be sore but then again it's been four weeks so if it is detecting early pregnancy we're talking super super early like just past implantation. See I had this tiny amount of brown spotting the other day, only once so thought that had to be implantation the spotting and feeling like I was on my period is what led me to test in the beginning.

Right so today I woke up this morning and my urine was too weak, did it anyway and was faint again so now I've not gone since then. Been holding out, still am now but it's been five hours ha only having the odd sip of drink, I'm dying to go lol but how long is long enough you know. God it shouldn't be this hard, it should be a line means positive but when you've had a miscarriage it throws up a million different complications is it lurking hcg levels, is it another miscarriage really early on, is it a proper pregnancy. How about you?

@Deller123 sorry just the early response tests. They're the only ones that'll pick up anything early I'm checking the clear blue ovulation test as well when I finally do go to the toilet haha

@WhirlingTurkey I stupidly tested again today, holding my urine for six hours, however when I peed into a cup it still wasn't dark enough really, I did it anyway it gave me an extremely faint line, it almost looks cloudy. But I saw this post online from this woman saying she never tests unless it's darker than apple juice would be, but I drink a lot, And find it hard not to. And another issue for me is I seem to get up half asleep in middle of the night for urination. That day I got the positive I had let got up in middle of the night and had hardly drank anything in the morning. But now I can't seem to not get extremely hydrated urine. So I'm completely in limbo. I'm guessing ovulation as it's after my mc. I really desperately wanted to get pregnant again before my best period so I don't know

@ragingmama84 - I'm so sorry for your loss, miscarriage is a shit thing to go through.

How long is it now since your miscarriage? I have you had a proper period since it happened? Did you get a completely negative test after your loss? That picture of a First Reponse test you posted looks positive, but depending how long ago your MMC was then it could be levels of HGC remaining... but if that's the case the line should get fainer and then disappear.

Do you have a photo of your most recent test?

Honestly I'd try not to overthink the concentration of your urine. If you're pregnant then you'll get a positive either way (unless it's super-duper early of course) - I got a positive test a couple of days before my period was due with very dilute (light yellow) afternoon wee. Don't give yourself something extra (and unnecessary) to stress about.

How long have you been testing and getting positives?

@WhirlingTurkey @ragingmama84 aww I really wish you all the best! Make sure you keep me update. I think I'm out😢not my turn, no sign no warning but think iv come on. I normally have cramps and it's darker than normal. Maybe not my time x

@Deller123 yeah I haven't met af yet but gut instinct tells me I will at some point. The only reason I can think I got a positive before was maybe implantation happened but then something went wrong cause now I can't not get a faint line that can only seen by me when I'm twisting and turning the test in certain light. Don't really get how to be honest but until I get sore boobs I'll not feel confident in a positive. And I think I probably just wasted 30 quid in pregnancy tests...you've gotta laugh at that 😆

This ttc business is an evil one, I remember during my first pregnancy finding google and all the scary info from women who suffered early miscarriages you'd be better off not knowing

@ragingmama84 yeah your right, don't you find when your trying everyone around you is pregnant as well. I am deffo out this month😢so fingers crossed for next though. I will keep this thread going so make sure you let me know was happens with you. All I want is my first child and it is so hard like you say x

@WhirlingTurkey hey, it's been nearly five weeks since my mc. After carrying my daughter for a full term I got my period back within three weeks so they thought I would this time too. So told me to expect it at the four week window. Also I had a scan and there was nothing in there completely clean. No haven't had a period yet, I really didn't want to to be honest I wanted to get pregnant before then, how've I doubt that'll be happening.

That test did seem positive and to be honest the only reason I took it was this brown spotting I had once and lower back ache and well when I get pregnant and the body starts preparing it sets off pain in my blood clot that's by my liver. I felt like I was on my period but I wasn't so took the the test.

I had been watching my levels lower down to nothing on tests since the mc so knew the levels were either gone or extremely low so not to show Ona test. I have no idea how it's gone to being faint. But I have never tracked things like ovulation and never get breakthrough bleeding it's just always a extremely regular period and quite heavy. My mc really ended all in one day within 24 hours I got the bleed then scan with no hb then that very same day had the mc I won't describe the horrors that came with that bleeding wise I'm guessing you can imagine. All natural and complete no remnants

@Deller123 I'm sorry, I know it's hideous to spend a whole month at a time just hoping this is it. You're sure it's normal period and not implantation bleeding? Everyone says track ovulation then you have the two week wait etc but sometimes Feels like you could be off you know. I've got this clear blue ovulation kit and the strips I either tnevet get it right timing wise or it never recognised when I was ovulation I know I ovulate. My partner swears it doesn't matter as they might be wrong. Believe me I know before my first I was sure I was infertile dr didn't think I could have one, then they realised I could. So I know it's horrible cause I waned my first so bad (although I also feel like that now for number two, that desperation) and I felt like I had lost her all the time I was a mess and you can't think of anything else. Just seems cruel to the woman

@ragingmama84 yeah had used the clear blue digital ovulation a few months in a row but I didn't this month thought I would have less pressure from the cp last month. It is so upsetting each month waiting, I don't know whether to track this month or let nature take its course. Yeah it is deffo af😢😢😞😞x

Yeah my partner is convinced that nature can takes it course any time of the month. I don't know if that's male ego being they hold the magic let's call it. But part of me thinks to just keep going without stupid ovulation kits I haven't had any success with it, it always says I'm low which is bull cause I ovulate. They say they just don't work with some people. Despite my computer geek status I don't really trust an algorithm to make me pregnant you know. Where anouts are you located?

I found that using OPKs once a day didn’t catch my ovulation indication. I had to do it twice a day. Definitely helped.

@PinkAvocado hi, yeah I've tried at midday and at 7-8pm but always just shows as like it's getting there but not there yet. This is what it always seems to look like and the cb always says low. But I do ovulate so I don't really get it.

How are you sure you’re ovulating-do you temp? If you do, just go with that and a tracker maybe? Otherwise those little strips just become a stress I think!

@PinkAvocado ha swear I've gone to reply to you a million times. What I mean is I know I ovulate in general otherwise I wouldn't of got pregnant. But from what a few (that got pregnant before their period) have said I reckon I ovulated straight after the miscarriage m, I felt like I was but also ridiculous emotional rollercoaster so wasn't sure. Cause I didn't start testing till 13 days after. I'm pretty sure I'm on my period now so once that's stopped I'll start testing and hopefully I'll seen when-ish it happens

Good luck! Until I tried for my second, I had no idea how late I ovulated so found tracking really helpful.

@PinkAvocado I had my first by accident when no dr thought I would haha. My dr even rang me the following week laughing her h ad off at the possibility of it all. I didn't find out till I was 3 months gone, I had thought I was sick for ages like a really hideous flu or something. Now trying after this mc I had no idea how complicated the whole thing was. My oh too was petty naive thinking we could just do the deed any time and that would work. I have had my period in pretty sure, but seems like I could be coming up to ovulation, maybe that's why I can't track them properly I'm one of the fewer that ovulated soon after their period. This is my best guess so far. Pregnancy test wise I've got to figure I just left it sitting too long and I'm seeing evaporation lines. I don't think it was a very early miscarriage cause I didn't have any clots, or pain just normal period feeling
