Hi ladies,

Will try not to ramble but I need some help from other eyes so any comments will be appreciated. This is my second post, me and dp have been trying to conceive for 15 months. I posted on here in July as I have my first ever positive (all tests have been so blank) was over the moon but unfortunately this ended in a cp at just over 4 weeks, absolutely devastated. Now a month on I don't know whether my eyes are playing tricks on me. I classed the last bleed (cp) as my period so I'm due the 3rd of September but had the urge to test as similar symptoms as last month just not as strong. You ladies were very supportive with your opinions on my last post so please give me your thoughts to if I'm imagining this. Many thanks in advance, pictures are as good as I could get xx

Tasha32 · 03/09/2018 09:09

I had a test that looked similar & after a little wile the line appeared but very very faint, I did one of those tests that tell if pregnant or not & by how many weeks so my suggestion if anxious is get one of those hun.🤞for you x

Deller123 · 03/09/2018 09:22

@Tasha32 thank you, I'm a bit wary to get one yet as took a few go goes in July with first pregnancy. I will wait a few more days xx

There looks to be a line on that one too op. I'd get a first response it might be a bit early for the clear blue digital just yet but if that cheapy test is positive then the first response would be by now too. Pee into a cup and dip the fr in it to avoid watering the window and to have no doubts. Best of luck. I was the exact same myself it's tormenting.

WhirlingTurkey · 03/09/2018 10:51

Your last one looks odd. Possibly faulty. But there does seem to be a line there at the top and bottom. Can you do another? I'd get a First Response to be honest, those cheap tests are often ambiguous!

Deller123 · 03/09/2018 11:06

That one was Superdrug test x

Deller123 · 03/09/2018 11:09

@twobambinos thank you, I have used free and Superdrug tests (5 in the top pics) but took them apart because the camera doesn't pick up what I can actually see. I know I shouldn't have done that x

OP posts:
WhirlingTurkey · 03/09/2018 11:30

Ah, I see they all look like cheapies when taken apart. I feel like you are in with a good chance based on that last test. I'd wait a couple of days and test again with a First Response.

polkadotpixie · 03/09/2018 11:32

I think these are early positives. I'd get a FRER if possible. I had a strong line on one of those whereas the cheapies were still very faint for ages

Deller123 · 03/09/2018 11:46

@WhirlingTurkey @polkadotpixie

Thanks, no not cheapies, iv got my last frer when they was blank before bfp and these frer and Superdrug ones are defiantly showing something compared to the completely blank ones. Like I said, it's hard knowing because I classed my cp as my period so not actually sure if due on today so may have actually ovulated late because I decided not to track this month and let what will be happen xx

Chocolatecoffeeaddict · 03/09/2018 12:05

If you've had a chemical pregnancy, the bleed would have been your period. CP is when the pregnancy ends very early and you have a period as normal or slightly late. I would say they were negatives, I tested early with my fourth pregnancy and got faint lines but they were thick and had a bit of colour. They look too thin to be anything other than evaps and if you're due on today, if you were pregnant you should be getting thick, dark lines.

Deller123 · 03/09/2018 12:12

@Chocolatecoffeeaddict thanks I understand what your saying. But evaps on 6 tests a bit unlucky isn't it? X

OP posts:
ladycarlotta · 03/09/2018 12:52

I didn't have thick dark lines on the tests round when my period was due. About a week after I was due the line was as dark as or darker than the control, but initially FRERs were very faint.

Merrydoula · 03/09/2018 13:49

@Deller123 I'd say that all those Evaps may be a sin of a bro, stop doing this to yourself and just go and get a first response, it will be a clear and factual answer!

Merrydoula · 03/09/2018 13:49

*a sign of a bfp

mumofthreee · 03/09/2018 13:54

I can see very thin line ?

ragingmama84 · 03/09/2018 13:56

Go get first response. I was hoping for pregnancy after my mc and was sure my period was coming on and then a faint line two days ago put it down to old hcg but then I got a stronger line two days later. Do another test but the first response. My first response showed me this (I'll attach a pic for you) but those cheap hcg strips don't seem to pick it up. They say early pregnancy but have to remember 5-8 weeks is considered early but the extremely early tests I'm doing probably like a week or two don't show up on the hcg strips but first response picks it up

Get a clear blue

ThirdChildFourthPile · 03/09/2018 14:23

You can't trust Superdrug tests.
They all give lines out.

Deller123 · 03/09/2018 16:37

@ladycarlotta thanks, my last bfp was very faint like this at first. @Merrydoula thank you that's what I'm hoping🤞🏻🤞🏻they are frer I know I shouldn't have but I opened them as the camera wasn't picking up what I could actually see. Something is catching my eye as I keep comparing with the blank ones I have. @ragingmama84 thank you for your post, I will get some more. Too wary to get clear blue at the moment as I think it would be too early x

MagicalCreatures · 03/09/2018 16:41

I think your in with a chance OP. Good luck. Definitely recommended a first response or rapid response test. I got my lines 8-9 dpo with those x

Deller123 · 03/09/2018 16:53

@MagicalCreatures thank you fingers crossed🤞🏻I thought trying for a baby was enjoyable but each month is a waiting game🙄15 months later🤞🏻x
