Pregnant with my first. I know everyone is different, however am curious to know...

...when did your first arrive? I'm hoping for 40 weeks but not to go too far overdue. Fingers crossed!

40+8 but I went into labour 36 hours before that.

2 Membrane Sweeps, lots of walking, scrubbing floor, sex to try and get labour going! It worked. (Was booked for induction at 40+10 and really wanted to avoid that if possible)

Magpiefeather · 18/08/2018 19:26

Oh and yes, towards the end was very uncomfortable. My ankles swelled to epic proportions and my bump ballooned after 38 ish weeks (but I did have extra amniotic fluid so it might have been that)

emsiboob · 18/08/2018 19:30

40+1

Bellabutterfly2016 · 18/08/2018 19:31

32+2 😬
Hated being pregnant so was quite happy to escape 8+weeks of it!!!!!!!

dovegrey18 · 18/08/2018 19:34

37+2 had period type pains for a week beforehand

helvetica01 · 18/08/2018 19:36

39+6 though labour started 39+2!

Ginmakesitallok · 18/08/2018 19:38

38wks, just like her sister

iLoveSpaDays · 18/08/2018 19:40

11 days over due

Mossend · 18/08/2018 19:42

40 on the dot

kikidoyouloveme · 18/08/2018 20:24

40+3

Treaclepie19 · 18/08/2018 20:34

37+3 :)

GimbleInTheWabe · 18/08/2018 20:40

40+9... then he arrived in about 2 hours Shock

GimbleInTheWabe · 18/08/2018 20:42

40+ 9 and It was frustrating waiting and being so so big. I also refused any induction as baby was totally healthy and happy in there (of course would have done whatever was needed if he was in any distress). They were very pushy with induction though so I'm glad I stood my ground. He came when he was ready!

Igottastartthinkingbee · 18/08/2018 20:44

DS 31 weeks (emergency section)
DD 40 weeks (induced)

cheeseandchoc · 18/08/2018 20:48

DS1 - 39 + 5
DS2 - 39 + 1 (but on due date by my calculations).
My second son was 9lb 3oz and by the end I was uncomfortable, but not in pain.

funinthesun18 · 18/08/2018 21:07

41+0
1 week late exactly 🙂

LBNM19 · 18/08/2018 21:50

38 weeks with my 1st.

jelly449 · 18/08/2018 22:02

40+8 with dc1. 39 weeks exactly for dc2 - elective c section.

I'm 37+2 now and booked in for another section at 39+4. I'm totally fed up now and want him to come but I'm probably the only person that wants to hang on until 39+2 at least! I don't want him to be tiny when he starts school and as he is most definitely my last baby, I want to make the most of the time I have at home with him. If he comes out in the next 13 days, we will lose a year lol. Watch him be born tomorrow now I've said this lol

Cattenberg · 18/08/2018 22:07

38+5

I'm very short and was born at 37+3 myself, so I had a feeling I wouldn't go overdue. Then again, I thought I might have a short labour like my mum and was completely wrong about that.

Firsttimer1234 · 18/08/2018 22:10

34 weeks exactly arrived in 50 mins, only just made it to the hospital.
Walked in thinking I had braxton hicks, left two weeks later with a baby.

Bella898 · 18/08/2018 22:14

42 wks and still nothing was happening so got induced

TinyTickler · 18/08/2018 22:21

40+2. I was due Christmas day so I didn't care if I was early or late, just not on time.

Deadheadstickeronacadillac · 18/08/2018 22:36

43 weeks, emergency caesarean and still didn't want to come out!!

Bella898 · 18/08/2018 22:51

deadhead wow a whole week more than me! I wasn't allowed go any longer by the hospital not that I'd want to

SallyCinnamon3009 · 18/08/2018 22:56
