Pregnant with my first. I know everyone is different, however am curious to know...

...when did your first arrive? I'm hoping for 40 weeks but not to go too far overdue. Fingers crossed!

@TTEA , 42 weeks and yes, I found after 39 weeks very difficult. It got to the point where I could only sleep sitting up with my head & arms leaning against a wall. Having said that, it was only 2 weeks and he did come out eventually. All babies go :)

40+12. I didn't gain a huge amount of weight until those 12 days, when I baked to keep myself busy, then ate it all!

TTEA · 18/08/2018 14:00

And here's me looking at my belly at 28 weeks thinking I can't possibly get any bigger Grin I'm so wrong aren't I?!

Yep, pretty uncomfortable after around the 39 week mark. They all come out eventually though.

MillieMoodle · 18/08/2018 14:04

DS1 was 40+12 - I was induced and in hindsight I think my dates might have been wrong and he just wasn't quite ready arrive. I didn't start to get fed up until I was about 10 days overdue. I struggled to walk for the last couple of weeks as had SPD and he was lying very low, but it was winter so I was happy to be warm all the time.
DS2 was 40+10 - he came of his own accord which I was pleased about as I didn't want to be induced again. I was fed up by about 36 weeks and had awful SPD so could barely do more than shuffle, some days I could only crawl. But he was 9lbs 6oz (a lot heavier than DS1) and my poor hips/pelvis just couldn't support the weight. It was also summer so I was melting!

Angelmiracle · 18/08/2018 14:04

41 weeks

mondaycando1 · 18/08/2018 14:09

40 + 13 - I was thoroughly fed up at the end with a failed 4 day induction ending in emcs. Don't remember feeling anymore uncomfy then than at 35 weeks.

lambdroid · 18/08/2018 14:11

40+5 for me (by an hour!), though went into labour at 40+4.

Hoping this one will be earlier as i had awful hip pain and was definitely struggling, though only 8 weeks at the moment so a long way to go!

Soubriquet · 18/08/2018 14:15

38+4 for my first

37+3 for my second

Iwantaunicorn · 18/08/2018 14:20

Lauren83 · 18/08/2018 14:23

Induced at 39, arrived by section 39.3

wombats · 18/08/2018 14:36

@Iwantaunicorn, How is it possible to measure 56 weeks?!? Blimey Shock

Imnotacelebgetmeouttahere · 18/08/2018 14:37

36 week exactly
34 +1
35 exactly
34 weeks exactly

El1995 · 18/08/2018 14:41

42+1

DifficultN · 18/08/2018 14:46

40+3 for me!

DN4GeekinDerby · 18/08/2018 15:43

My first was 41+6...as was my fourth. My middle two were both 39 and change. I read somewhere ages ago that for a typical low-risk first pregnancy statistically goes closer to 41 and a bit than pregnancies thereafter which are close to 40 but there is obviously a huge range.

Personally, I found the 35-38 the longest/most uncomfortable time and after that I could move fine, went on some lovely walks then, but mostly just trying to keep my mind off the 'anytime now, please' feeling.
