Hi, I am wondering if someone had any advice/been in the same position. Around 5 weeks ago I miscarried, I think I was around 6-7 weeks pregnant but not to sure. I only bled a little for 4 days with mild cramps nothing to bad. Was having my bloods monitored, around two weeks ago they discharged me as my hcg was at 9 and that was classed as negative. Anyway, 2 weeks later im feeling pregnant again, took 4 tests came out strong positive and done a digi which said 1-2 weeks. I don't know what to think as didn't know could get pregnant this quick. Rang my midwife she said it sounds like a new pregnancy. Has anyone else been through this? going out of my mind in work!

thanks x

Yep. The exact same thing happened to me. I'm now 9 weeks. Congratulations!

HanHx · 16/08/2018 12:09

Spooples Thank you for replying! ahh I honestly didn't believe this could happen, so how have you worked out how many weeks you are? should I wait till my referral for scan? x

Are you in the UK? if you've previously miscarried you should be entitled to a reassurance scan at around 7-8 weeks. They should be able to give you an EDD then xx

HanHx · 16/08/2018 12:23

Yeah well I have just booked in with the midwife for next Friday so hopefully they will send me for an early one. ah just a waiting game now hope everything will be okay trying to keep positive!

Thanks hun x

Iv got my first appointment tomorrow with the midwife Smile

Congratulations!

Hoppinggreen · 16/08/2018 15:20

I had a Mc at 12 weeks with surgical intervention
I then got pg 1 week later, my periods hadn’t returned and I was basically pg for a year in total!
It was psychologically very very hard but physically fine and she’s 13 now!!
Congratulations x

sunshineandthunder · 16/08/2018 15:26

Yes, happened to me. 6 weeks pregnant then miscarried. Didn't have a period so did a pg test which was positive.

Dates were bang on for 2 weeks post miscarriage. He's 11 now and currently eating me out of house and home!

HanHx · 16/08/2018 15:29

Thanks Ladies, this has made me feel a lot better! @Katie1962 congrats hun, how have you worked your weeks out? Im guessing im only really early like 3-4 weeks? x

Katie1962 · 16/08/2018 15:35

Well we have just gone off the miscarriage as you apparently ovulate 2 weeks after. It ties up with the symptoms I'm having as well.
The midwife might tell me different tomorrow though!

BifsWif · 16/08/2018 15:37

Happened to me too, she’s almost 3 now!

MoonlightMedicine · 16/08/2018 15:50

Happened to me too. She’s 5 in January.

littlepooch · 16/08/2018 16:00

Happened to me too. She's nearly 3. It was such a dark time and seeing that second line again gave me hope.

Nuffaluff · 16/08/2018 16:05

Exactly the same happened here and the pregnancy went well. Now have a nearly 4 year old.

HanHx · 16/08/2018 16:12

Its crazy isn't it, I thought it was leftover hormone from previous one but midwife said it cant possibly be as they were that low. @Katie1962 will you let me know how you get on? x

sexnotgender · 16/08/2018 16:18

Same happened to me, I’m now nearly 18 weeks.

MotherForkinShirtBalls · 16/08/2018 16:20

Like posters above, I miscarried at 7 weeks and got pregnant two weeks later. My normally very level headed gp freaked out completely and thought I'd maybe lost one of a twin pregnancy, so had an immediate scan but all was fine and ds is now 6. Best of luck!

NotMoreStephanie · 16/08/2018 16:30

Congratulations HanHx!

Can I just ask what made you feel like you were pregnant?

I have recently had a miscarriage. My bleeding started 3 weeks ago and lasted about 8 days. I was 9 weeks pregnant.

Today I have woken up with really sore breasts. This was my first clue when I last fell pregnant. I don't want to get my hopes up but they haven't hurt over the last few weeks. It may be too early to tell and it may just be hormones still messing around. The doctors did confirm that my levels made it a complete miscarriage and I had a negative test last week.

Was just hoping you could give me some insight to how you were feeling...

Fingers crossed!

HanHx · 16/08/2018 16:39

@NotMoreStephanie Same really , sore breasts with blue veins and very very tired! I thought this was just my period getting ready to come, have you taken any tests since last week? if not I would definitely take one or maybe wait till next week. I know its horrible feeling not knowing what is going on inside your body! x

NotMoreStephanie · 16/08/2018 16:51

Thank you for getting back to me. I couldn't agree more. It is horrible!

I'll try to wait until next week or possibly the weekend. I might see if I get any other symptoms. I really don't want to be let down.

Congratulations again. I wish you a very happy and healthy pregnancy!

HanHx · 16/08/2018 16:55

Thanks a lot hun, Goodluck and let me know if you get your positive next week ! x @NotMoreStephanie

Another one here Op. I had a 7 week m/c (my third in a few months) in February. Monitored and passed the sac so I knew it was complete. 3 weeks later I did a test to double check the hcg was gone, and got a faint positive. Tested for a few more days and rang the epu who managed the m/c when the tests didn't get weaker.

They were brilliant, said it's quite common and did 3 scans, to check for new conception, again to find the sac and finally to confirm it was viable. It turned out I must've conceived a week after the loss. Now 26+3 with a boy. Good luck, might be worth ringing the epu?

HanHx · 16/08/2018 22:44

Aww that is lovely to hear @LimpLettice i might give them a ring in the morning, would it be to early for anything to show on a scan? How many weeks was u when u did? X
