Hi, I am wondering if someone had any advice/been in the same position. Around 5 weeks ago I miscarried, I think I was around 6-7 weeks pregnant but not to sure. I only bled a little for 4 days with mild cramps nothing to bad. Was having my bloods monitored, around two weeks ago they discharged me as my hcg was at 9 and that was classed as negative. Anyway, 2 weeks later im feeling pregnant again, took 4 tests came out strong positive and done a digi which said 1-2 weeks. I don't know what to think as didn't know could get pregnant this quick. Rang my midwife she said it sounds like a new pregnancy. Has anyone else been through this? going out of my mind in work!

thanks x

I think I found out very early HanHx and was confused as didn't think it was possible and I think they wanted to check it wasn't any retained products. So they saw a thickened lining on the first scan at about 4 weeks, with 48 hour hcg which confirmed rising levels. I then went in a few days later and saw the sac at about 5, and the final epu was 6.5 weeks to see heartbeat.

Let us know how you go Op and I'd say ring early, they get terribly busy before the weekend shut down round here.

HanHx · 17/08/2018 11:09

@LimpLettice Rang them, they said does sound like a new pregnancy but to wait until I see my midwife next week. If worried or any problems to go to my gp. They didn't sound interested really. so just going to wait now ! x

Hi. I'm wondering if you guys can give me some advice.
I had my first pregnancy and first miscarriage two weeks ago. I was 5 weeks. I started bleeding with cramps 1st August - 6th August.
We have been having sex since the 10th and I'm so unsure when I've ovulated this month but it would normally be around 14th. Which is when I had more cramps and CM. However, today im in quite abit of pain.... I'm pretty sure now I'm not pregnant as I'm wondering if these are period pains.... it's in my back, and my tummy just feels weird aswell as the cramping. Had taste of blood in my mouth and I just feel weird like I did before. Any advice? X

HanHx · 17/08/2018 11:53

Hi @Delilah7 are you in pain? and anymore bleeding? if not could just be your womb getting back to normal, have you had any bloods done since the miscarriage? x

@HanHx no bleeding, just pain. No they were unfortunately able to tell from my wee. I took another test on weekend and said negative.
I'd like to know if I've managed some how to catch ovulation lol x

HanHx · 17/08/2018 11:59

@Delilah7, it is possible! very fertile after aswell, why don't you book in with your gp and let them know how your feeling maybe ask if they will do some blood tests x

Delilah7 · 17/08/2018 12:17

@HanHx I spoke to a nurse and they weren't very helpful. Said it's probably my period etc etc xx

Delilah7 · 17/08/2018 12:17

Just don't know if I could catch that easy! :matter miscarriage :(

HanHx · 17/08/2018 12:40

@Delilah7 That's what I thought hun, but it can happen. why don't you wait another week and if period hasn't arrived yet I would definitely take a test again! x

Delilah7 · 17/08/2018 12:46

@HanHx yeah think I will but wondering if these pains are unfortunately AF :( x

Katie1962 · 17/08/2018 15:21

@HanHx Iv just been to see the midwife! She said I didn't actually need to go to see her and I had been instructed wrongly by the doctor so I'm still non the wiser with the process BUT I asked her how they try to work out your due date in our scenario and she confirmed they use when you miscarried instead of your period.

Sorry I can't be more helpful 🙈

HanHx · 17/08/2018 15:26

@Katie1962 that's crazy isn't it! but sounds about right when Iv worked it out! thanks for getting back to me and goodluck! x

I was so scared to take a test, I was worried I wouldn't be happy because it was so soon after the miscarriage!
So glad I did though! Smile

Delilah7 · 17/08/2018 20:54

@Katie1962 😘 gives me faith but with these pains I think I'm defo out... :(
