Hello hows everyone doing?
Has any one had a period of inactivity from Baby then sudden constant kicks/punches repetitively ?
It had worried me quite a bit, feel like baby's having a seizure or is distressed 😔 ?

Patienceofatoddler · 09/09/2018 07:39

@leanne9312 how many weeks are you?

I'm only 22 weeks and movement is somewhat sporadic.

It's not til abit later than myself that midwives would be concerned after all a lot of woman don't notice any 'patterns' unto 24-25-26 weeks.

If your worried phone your EPU or community midwife for advice x x

Patienceofatoddler · 09/09/2018 07:40

@LilacIris hopefully the wait will be worth it. Try not to worry to much about symptoms changing - it's all very normal (so easy to say I know!) Thanks

Athers666 · 09/09/2018 07:41

Back in hospital again. Got taken in an ambulance this time. Still having severe chest pains but all tests are coming back normal. Had 3 ecgs in the last few days and blood tests and blood gas test. So fed up and still in so much pain.

Patienceofatoddler · 09/09/2018 07:42

@Beck1988 ditto - Well I've had whooping cough already I'm not sure Flu Jabs are available here yet but you've reminded me to check when next at GP.

Patienceofatoddler · 09/09/2018 07:44

@Athers666 I'm so sorry.

It's not gallstone related could it be?

(Upper right quadrant pain?)

I've had that in pregnancy before and actually felt like I was dying BlushSad

Pregnancy has the weirdest effects on the body Thanks

leanne9312 · 09/09/2018 08:36

@Patienceofatoddler I'm nearly 26 weeks and thankyou I did ring them an they said to go in for monitoring however I felt normal movements this morning so I'm just going to wait and see thankyou

Sorry I haven't been on in a while just been so busy and then I left it too long to start commenting again as people would be like who the hell os that lol, so I decided to start it off again , Grin

leanne9312 · 09/09/2018 08:38

Glad to see everyone is ok and baby's doing well!
Hope you get better soon @Athers666

Cakelaur · 10/09/2018 09:15

@Alicejj8x I loved the show too!! We didn't buy anything. We only had an hour to run round in the end because we had to be at a bbq later that day. But I found some really lovely nursing bras and we got a free mam bottle and some leaflets on a few bits we're going to order online. I'm now booking tickets for the Olympia 😍😬

Alicejj8x · 10/09/2018 13:58

@Cakelaur
Ahh yes I've heard about that Olympia one meant to be a huge show isn't it :) I think I may look into booking that too xx

Alicejj8x · 10/09/2018 18:19

So tomorrow we are getting a early gender scan (£50!) thought it was a well
Good deal! But we aren't going to know the gender as my sis and OH sis are planning us a gender reveal 6th October ( sis has her wedding this weekend then honeymoon so October it has to be!!)

Now the last time we saw Bean was at our 12W week and everything was perfect. mw last week listening to HB and that was all good and I use my Doppler once a week to check in too!
Now why am I all of a sudden soo nervous for tomorrow :/ what if everything isn't ok .. hasn't grown etc etc :/
The worries all disappeared after my 12 w but now I'm a nervous wreck again

My belly is defo bigger and i have no reason to be worried :/ but why am I so nervous for tmo

Athers666 · 10/09/2018 18:40

Stuck on bed rest and sooo bored. Hospital can't really be sure what's causing the chest pains so all I can do is rest up. All tests have come back as normal. Have had so many blood tests I surely must be running out of blood by now😂 Baby is doing ok though, he went a little quiet but has since regained his usual kicking and whacking thank goodness!

BabynameEdie · 10/09/2018 21:43

Hello everyone, I haven't written on here for ages but have been following the board a bit. Not sure why i haven't been writing but think am just finding it hard to feel that this is actually happening! I'm 20 weeks now, have anomaly scan tomorrow, yet still don't feel it's real.
How's everyone else doing?! Looking forward to hearing from everyone 😀

Beck1988 · 11/09/2018 15:36

@babynameedie I'm thinking the ant haven't posted in a while but keep checking to see how everyone's doing! Will be 26 weeks on Friday & have midwife next Wednesday. Hard to believe I've got less time left than I've been pregnant for! Only 14 weeks left, & it's Christmas aswell!!! X

clairehr · 11/09/2018 18:56

It's so lovely hearing from everyone so far ahead, how exciting that you're half way or over!

Finally had 16 week appointment today at 18 weeks, heard the heartbeat and baby gave an almighty kick as though to say "get that out of my face" and then went and hid - definitely growing a monkey!

@Athers666 How are you doing? Hope pain is easing?

Patienceofatoddler · 11/09/2018 20:52

@BabynameEdie hope the scan went well today x

Patienceofatoddler · 11/09/2018 20:53

@Athers666 how are you feeling today?

Hope your not to bored bed rest must be horrible.

Hope your feeling much much better soon.

Alicejj8x · 11/09/2018 21:26

Baby bean is perfect. Measuring 16+6 so a day ahead of what I thought :)

We had our private gender scan tonight to find out the gender but we're having a reveal done by our families so we won't know for a few more weeks yet 😬

But here is my babe all baby looking and a chunky tummy 😍😍😍

Athers666 · 12/09/2018 11:38

Aw Alicejj8x lovely pictures. Little bean is adorable.
@Patienceofatoddler Aw thanks, am still feeling rubbishy but just trying to get too depressed. I am seeing the midwife later for bloods. I was thinking I may have to get a sick note from the GP if he pain doesn't improve as I'm just not able to work. All I can do is shuffle about a bit round the house, no way can I work! Feel bad but no much I can do. Has anyone had one before, are they difficult to get?

Alicejj8x · 12/09/2018 14:29

@Athers666 thank you so much

zarala · 12/09/2018 20:17

@Alicejj8x soooo beautiful! What a wonderful thing to see!

I had my 7 week scan today and all went well! Was so nervous beforehand- but so far so good. Just gotta get through the next 3-4 weeks. The professor said after 10 weeks the risk is pretty much eliminated so I'm holding on to that!!!

Athers666 · 12/09/2018 21:36

@Zarala that's great news! Before you know it you'll be 12 weeks x

Athers666 · 13/09/2018 00:10

@babynameEdie Hope your scan went well, too! X

Cakelaur · 13/09/2018 23:32

Under 100 days to go!!! 95 to be precise (if bub arrives on due date!!! )

And I started building nursery furniture today!! It's getting real!!
