@Laney79 good luck for your scan. I'm sure bub will be perfect and growing nicely in there.

Alicejj8x · 14/09/2018 12:56

@Cakelaur I love this where is it from? Xx

Alicejj8x · 14/09/2018 12:57

@zarala
Thank you doesn't seem real after two losses this is the rainbow baby for sure

Ahh congrats lovely. Yes that's right at 10 weeks the risk drops dramatically and then even more so by 11 so I am sure everything will be perfect for you x

Eastend2015 · 14/09/2018 15:45

@cakelaur oo lovely!

@alicejj8x congratulations on your scan news!

HidCat · 14/09/2018 16:20

@Alicejj8x lovely scan pic, I bet you can't wait for the gender reveal!

@zarala great news!

Alicejj8x · 14/09/2018 16:39

@Eastend2015 @HidCat
Thank you so much!
I cannot wait now lol

Cakelaur · 14/09/2018 23:04

@Alicejj8x it's from mamas and papas (Oxford) finally got the cot up this evening. So the room is nearly done. Curtains and a few bits for the walls that were waiting on. Eek!!!

@cakelaur that's lovely.

I really like those drawers, but it (very irrationally) upsets me that the top drawer is just one. Lol.

Our task is to paint the nursery this weekend. It's very strange to actually buy things and generally act like there will be a baby at the end of this.

I'm really rubbish at keeping up with the thread. Congratulations to all those who've had good scans. It's such a relief, even if only temporary in the first trimester.

So lovely to see new people on the thread. I remember feeling like I'd be on the TTC thread forever. It took 8 months to conceive again and i definitely felt like an old timer on there before I got my bfp. I still check back now to see how everyone is doing. I lot of the people who were on it when I first joined have now given birth which is so reassuring.

Nursery coming along nicely 🐘

@cakelaur That looks so nice! Love the wallpaper and curtains!😍

Athers666 · 15/09/2018 19:28

@Beck1988 Love that wallpaper as well, so cute!

leanne9312 · 15/09/2018 20:29

Aw how lovely your nursery's are coming along!! I unfortunately bought a bloody two bedroom house and my daughter has the other room! Damn I don't no what to do !!

HidCat · 16/09/2018 03:30

Nurseries looking fab ladies! I won't be doing one for a while yet, baby will be in with us for at least 6 months so no point stressing about it (hubby is bracing himself for the loss of his gaming room - what we have will determine how long he gets to keep it 😆).

Patienceofatoddler · 16/09/2018 06:41

Ditto here @HidCat baby will be in our room at least six months and all day time naps downstairs where we can keep an eye so really not thinking about nursery.

If though in reality it's just moving our youngest out of her cot and into a bed in the spare room Smile

Patienceofatoddler · 16/09/2018 06:47

Hope everyone's keeping well?

I've been having symptoms of Obsetric Cholestasis the last week so waiting on the blood results (won't be until Monday I don't think as done via GP).

Feeling quite worried about it to be honest as I'm only 22w 5 days and I've been in my own little bubble recently under Midwife care the idea of 13-14 weeks of monitoring / scans / consultant appointments feel really daunting.

I also found out more recently my best friend is also expecting though which is amazing and we will be off on Mat leave together :-)

I am super excited to start buying for her Blush

CobaltRose · 16/09/2018 07:57

Hi all!

I can scarcely believe it but I'm now 15 weeks with my rainbow! I'm just starting to relax and enjoy it, although I've now been diagnosed with SPD AND sciatica so am in quite a bit of pain already Sad Bubs is perfect though ❤

My bump!

I have loads to catch up on.

Glad scans have gone well and these babies are going to have great nurseries with lovely furniture.

I’ve got my early scan on Tuesday. I really hope all goes well.

Cakelaur · 16/09/2018 09:50

@Daffodil77 it's one drawer but it is spit inside. So it's sectioned like 3 drawers. 😬
Good luck with getting it all painted! Totally know the feeling. I have a room full of baby stuff and apparently a baby that'll be here in 11weeks!! 🙈

@Beck1988 LOVE that wallpaper!! How cute is that!!

@Athers666 I painted the wall. 😬 and the curtains are going! Haha! 🙈 they're the old ones from the spare room. We've got giraffe ones on the way. Haha.

@leanne9312 the two kids can share. You can decorate half the room for each! 👍🏻

@HidCat hahhaha!! My DSS is unimpressed that he'll have to share his games room
With the baby once the baby has toys!! 🙈😂 because I refuse to have baby shit cluttering the adult lounge!! How long are you gonna give your OH? Omg you could use it as a be nice or lose it bribe!! Haha

@Patienceofatoddler gosh maybe I need to rethink. I'm hoping bub will be in his own room from about 6 weeks and the dog makes too much noise downstairs with his bloody squeaky toys and DSS yelling at his xbox for baby to sleep downstairs. 🙈
Amazing news about your friend. And being under consultant care has some silver linings!!! Usually a couple of extra scans. Sending hugs. Xx

Lovely bump @CobaltRose 15 weeks already!!! That's flown by!! (Not for your I'm sure) glad all is well and make sure you take it easy with spd and sciatica. I see a chiropractor every couple of weeks (but it's costing a bloody fortune) haha.

Eek!! @LilacIris good luck with your scan babe!! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Athers666 · 16/09/2018 10:02

@Cakelaur Oh I thought it was wallpaper! My phone screen isn't very big, lol, either way I love it!
@cobaltRose Love the cute bump!
@Patienceofatoddler You poor thing with all this worry, hang in there x
I'm feeling way better after my stupid awful chest pain, hoping to go back to work either today or tomorrow.

Athers666 · 16/09/2018 10:04

Whoops I meant tomorrow or Tuesday! I do actually work Sundays but someone is covering today, lol.

Lilimum4 · 16/09/2018 10:19

Hello ladies. I'm so relieved to be here. Had a scan yesterday because I had very very very bad pain all on my left side front and back and everyone including gp thought ectopic pregnancy. Thank goodness it wasn't. Baby is measuring correct for dates but I have a huge cystic mass on my ovary. They are worried because the cyst isn't fluid it's solid so I get another scan in two weeks to keep an eye on baby's development.
Rightly or wrongly I didn't think I belonged here or on the ttc thread I was on and felt a bit lost. But after seeing a beautiful little heartbeat yesterday I can finally start to believe I will hold my baby in my arms.

leanne9312 · 16/09/2018 10:30

@Cakelaur never thought of that! Thankyou

Glad to see everything going well for you

Patienceofatoddler · 16/09/2018 10:59

@Cakelaur youl be surprised what they can sleep through.

I could hoover the living room with my previous two asleep in there Blush and they would sleep through.

We have those Kong dog toys where you can turn the squeak of on them haha Wink

Hopefully il find out more tomorrow - I've had two Cholestasis pregnancies before so just need tone strong to keep everything 'normal' at home esp as kiddies don't know we are pregnant yet Blush

HidCat · 16/09/2018 13:51

@Patienceofatoddler I hope you get the all clear and it's just normal dry skin for the season change.

@CobaltRose I'm glad you've got your diagnosis early, hopefully you'll be able to manage it and it won't be too problematic.

@LilacIris good luck for your scan!

@Cakelaur if we have another boy he can keep it as long as the kids can use it too, if we have a girl then it will move in probably around October next year. We've already started discussing options so he's not too disappointed lol.

@Lilimum4 great to hear baby is doing well and fingers crossed the mass is not too serious and can be managed through pregnancy.

kisses4u · 16/09/2018 15:03

Hi can I join? Just graduated (tentatively) from TTC after MC thread. Still not quite confident to say 'I'm pregnant' hubby keeps asking 'are you really tho?' Makes me wonder if I imagined those lines on the dozens of tests 🙈 however I'm making the leap to this thread and can see my friend @Lilimum4 is here too!!! (Waves) great news about the scan lovely one!!!
Let's hand hold on here together!
Will be lovely getting to know you all on here.
