@zarala how come your having it so early and I hope it goes well

zarala · 02/09/2018 17:26

@Lilimum4 because I've had 3 losses and I'm at the RMC (recurrent miscarriage clinic) they will scan me and test my bloods every 2 weeks until week 12. They check to see if I develop any issues that may have caused the previous MCs - blood clotting stuff mainly....all my tests came back normal so they said maybe my situation changes in a pregnancy state... we will see!

Lilimum4 · 02/09/2018 17:29

@zarala wow I really hope all goes well. I'll keep everything crossed for you x

Eastend2015 · 02/09/2018 21:17

@zarala keeping everything crossed for you! Congratulations with all the good scan news ladies. @laney79 as pps have said, it’s hopefully just old blood/ implantation. Sending hugs Flowers

LilacIris · 02/09/2018 21:40

Will be thinking of you on Wednesday @zarala. What gestation do your pregnancies usually get to?

I’m going to have a scan next week when I am seven weeks.

How worrying for you @Laney79 and if you would rather not have an internal scan, why don’t you ask to have hcg blood tests 48 hours apart?

Athers666 · 03/09/2018 08:33

Ugh have had to call in sick today, first sick day during the pregnancy but I feel so guilty! But just feeling totally exhausted, dizzy and run down, nothing serious I don't think, but just cannot do it today, I need to rest. Feel so bad though 😣

Alicejj8x · 04/09/2018 09:07

Hello I am 15+5 today and this morning I felt what was possible movement from baby..
From what it felt like it was like little pokes in my lower belly.. like pop corn popping or a little muscle spam haha I don’t really know how to describe it. Since then I haven’t had any more flutters or feelings down there so not to sure if it was baby?
I am a first time mum and not to sure what it should feel like it? Any advice ? Thanks xxx

Athers666 · 04/09/2018 09:24

@Alicejj8x Deffo sounds like movement! Little pops and twitches is what I had as well as what felt like a tiny worm wiggling. When I first felt it, it then went away for a few days but came back, totally normal as baby still has room to hide. And I was more like 17 or 18 weeks as well x

Alicejj8x · 04/09/2018 09:45

@Athers666
ahh thank you so much :) I'm hoping it was baby starting out wriggling lol!
Xx

Athers666 · 04/09/2018 10:04

Alicejj it so will be! Amazing right? Now I get full blown kicks and can't sleep, ever 😣😣

zarala · 04/09/2018 19:38

@LilacIris every loss has been different
First one before 6 weeks- so I've passed that already hooray!
Second was discovered at 12 week scan- had stopped at 9w4days and the last one discovered at 8w scan had stopped at 6w5days

So i am trying to take it week by week as you guys suggested but if/when we get to 10 weeks I will feel sooo much better!!!

Happy to report dh can come with me tomorrow to the scan! So relieved !

@LilacIris good luck for next week!!!

@Laney79 how are you doing today?

@Alicejj8x def sounds like the first wriggles!! So amaZing!!!

zarala · 04/09/2018 19:38

@Athers666 ah sorry to hear you've been feeling so ill but it's a good sign!!! How far along are you ?

Laney79 · 04/09/2018 19:50

@zarala hi. I'm doing ok. Basically had brown discharge on wiping Sunday morning and lunchtime but then it stopped. Had no pain or red blood so have decided to leave it and hope for the best unless something else happens. The EPAU said that would scan me but as I was only 6+3 on Sunday it would've been internal which I really hate and find traumatic. And we're about to go on hols to Norfolk so I decided I'd rather live in hope all is well, than have a scan that was inconclusive or bad news and ruin my folks and my partners holiday.

May be a daft move but I'm just trying to stay positive. Did get my booking appt and 12 week scan dates through today. Crazy but I already have 5 appointments booked! One consultant (birth options to discuss why I want an elective c section) two scans, booking appt and a flu jab!

Good luck with your scan tomorrow-how far along will you be?

@Alicejj8x Awww! How exciting! Can't wait to feel movement X

Alicejj8x · 04/09/2018 20:28

@Athers666
Oh no really lol!!

@Laney79
Thank you :) it was so lovely to feel

Athers666 · 04/09/2018 20:31

@zarala Aw thanks. I'm feeling way better now after a day of resting. I'm 26 weeks x

SurfingOwl · 04/09/2018 22:04

Great news your DH can attend the scan @zarala and roll on the second trimester!

clairehr · 05/09/2018 07:35

Good luck for today @zarala xxx

Athers666 · 05/09/2018 08:01

@Zarala All the best for your scan today x

Alicejj8x · 05/09/2018 18:53

Omg ladies look at this!

So our tray snapped off the one we had and I rang Tommie tippee and asked for a new tray and the man was so lovely and said he'll send it out ASAP free of charge. Get home today to this! A brand new one!

So my OH cousin is pregnant and she's going to be a single mum as the dad didn't want anything to do with baby :( and she's only 19 so I am handing down my other one too her :)

@Alicejj8x ooh you jammy bugger!

Alicejj8x · 05/09/2018 21:03

@HidCat
Literally couldn't believe it!!

I am so tempted to ring and say u have sent me a new one but I just wanted the tray lol
Or shall I just keep it lol

HidCat · 06/09/2018 07:25

@Alicejj8x keep it. It's probably just that they could send the part on its own and it's within warranty or something. Result!

zarala · 06/09/2018 08:03

Thanks guys!
Scan went well yesterday !
On to the next one...hoping it will continue well!
🙏🏽

@Alicejj8x how awesome! Do you recommend it?! I never seen it before

Laney79 · 06/09/2018 08:34

Ok ladies advice please...

Aldi have a lovely Moses basket. It's only £29.99 and has a cute whale on it (I'm obsessed with whales and dolphins) I really want it for bow. They only have two left and they are no longer available online.

But...I'm only 7 weeks today and after a MMC with my bean in March I'm torn. Will I be tempting fate to buy it now when I have no idea if bow is doing ok in there? My mom says not to get it, my friend says go for it. Part of me says it will help me keep up the positivity, but the other side says I'll be pushing my luck.

Thoughts?
