We've cleared out study ready to decorate now. Bought a crib but that's it so far.
We'd decided on an uppababy Cruz until today when we really looked at the vista and realised once you add on car seat adapters and bassinet it's practically the same price. How's everyone else getting on preparing?

@Daffodil77 we had a mad day the other day and ordered all the big stuff. Cot and chest of drawers/changing table, buggy, car seat, painted the nursery, got the nursing chair, cleared out the wardrobe. Now just waiting for it to arrive. But we have been told to have everything ready for 30 weeks (cos currently placenta previa) and once we're back from holiday we'll be 25. We've got all the clothes, but not all the little bits.

I'm now starting to think about hospital bag because I have to have that ready from 27 weeks. Eek!!!

I'm 20 weeks today - Next scan on Friday.

@Cakelaur if I can just get over the first hurdle I hope for plain sailing.

Can not get in with any doctor until 12th of September or go through triage nurse. But triage nurse is supposed to be for super sick people

We already have one of each and knew with them so feels right to find out (plus il know what clothes I can flog and what to keep haha).

Got a busy few days with family events to keep me busy until Friday thank goodness

I am 5 weeks now...next milestone is 6 weeks for me. Hoping to get a scan next week at the RMC- just waiting to hear from back from them....

@Lilimum4 well hopefully you won't need any Drs or triage. Smooth sailing. Are they likely to give you an early scan? Or maybe a private one for peace of mind?

@zarala eek. 5 weeks already?! Hopefully they'll organise a scan for you. I had about 20 scans this time round!! Hahaha! One at 6,8,10,12, (bought doppler between 12- feeling movement) 20 and about to book a 3d for 28 and then a 32 week to check placenta! 😂 this baby loves a camera!!

@Patienceofatoddler how exciting! Hopefully the time will fly by and you'll know what you're growing! Do the kids (or you) have a preference? Obvs healthy baby is key... but....

@Cakelaur no preference. Still haven't told the kiddies - Will wait until I really can't hide it anymore. It's such a long wait for them

How is everyone getting on? I got my 3+ on a ClearBlue this morning but I think I am 5+1 today. Despite everything, I am being remarkable relaxed and calm about everything.

Is there a Facebook group or WhatsApp group in place? I love our meet up WhatsApp group but know it isn’t the place to chat about pregnancy anxieties.

Was about to buy one brand new £130! From
Mother care and my friend told me I can have hers it's basically brand new. Soo happh

I haven't bought myself a clear blue - I am scared!!🙈 do you have any symptoms?!
I continue to be gassy 🙄 and some exhaustion but generally not feeling much - except my trousers are already tight! Haha keep walking around the office with my buttons open and forgetting! Hahaha so charming!

@Cakelaur yes I will also get scanned every 2 weeks on nhs at the RMC - and dr s also wants to see me every 2 weeks to monitor me because of all the drugs he's put me on! So potentially I could have a scan a week! Which I am really not complaining about! Just hoping we make it to the end! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

@zarala I am pretty much symptomless but I usually am for the first trimester which never helps with the nerves! Although I am struggling with some of my jeans doing up but that might be cake and chocolate related!

I need to have a blood test for antibodies done but I have no idea how early on that needs to be.

@LilacIris congratulations. I hope all goes well this time around, sounds like you're getting great care.
