Hi ladies, just thought it would be nice to have a place for us "first timers" to air and share.

Good luck to everyone through your pregnancy journey Smile

Due the 8th of March . Nervous this week , feel like time is passing so slowly waiting for my 12 week scan to find out how everything is .

TheWanderlust · 30/07/2018 08:44

Great to see you here @ballanj

I'm with you @Starheart , time is passing so slowly right now!!

Baby160P · 30/07/2018 09:38

Very slowly! And it's hard because other than the odd symptoms I don't even feel pregnant!!

Can't wait until it can kick and wriggle!!

toastfiend · 30/07/2018 10:11

Due some time between the 3rd March and the 8th March. Had 2 early scans already, due to some bleeding, both showed that everything was fine, but little bean had grown loads on my scan over the weekend and is now measuring 5 days ahead of what we thought it would be. If that scan is correct then I'm due around 3rd March, which would make me 9 + 1 today. Smile

I did have very bad nausea and dizziness from weeks 4-7/8 but that seems to have mostly eased at the moment and now just comes back when I'm hungry or my blood sugar is low. It's been quite fraught so far, as we've had a fair few scary moments, but so far the bean seems to be hanging in there and the scan over the weekend was really encouraging.

Hi All,
So exciting to hear about your pregnancies Smile !!

This my first time too and I am due 23rd Feb 2019 - so exciting but so anxious too! Our first scan is the 10th August and I can't wait to see how everything is growing in there!

AutumnLee12 · 30/07/2018 12:03

Hi all!

I'm due around 16th Feb

I suffered a miscarriage last september so this is my second pregnancy and very nervous for all to be well!

I have my 12 week scan next week! I had an early scan at 7weeks due to some bleeding and everything was fine but I'm still very anxious waiting for the scan

ballanj · 30/07/2018 12:56

Hi everyone,

Just been for my booking in.....lots of questions asked and was told I'm 7+2 as opposed to the 8+ my Flo app was calculating. Due date 16 March. Should have scan appointment in post by end of this week. Feels a bit more real now having my notes. Had to drop everything home to avoid taking it into the office and my accidentally pulling it out of my bag haha. Think I'll have to tell my manager once I have a scan date. Hope you're all well. On a non-pregnancy note, it's muggy in Surrey and very bad hair weather! X

bluebird3 · 30/07/2018 13:01

Hi everyone. I'm 8w due 12th of March. I had 3 rounds of ivf which failed (1 was mc at 5w) and then this has been a surprise natural pregnancy. Trying to keep sane! I had a scan at 6w and saw a little heartbeat but trying to decide if I can make it to 12w scan or if I need another one in the next couple of weeks.

jennac · 30/07/2018 13:49

Hello everyone 👋 I'd like to join! It's my first and I'm due on New Years Day so only just squeeze into this group. Feeling good at the mo except everrrrryyyone keeps asking me if I've felt the baby move yet and telling me they felt it around this time which is making me nervous, even though I know a lot of people don't feel it til much later! (I'm 17+6). Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all 😀

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 30/07/2018 15:45

Please can I join? I'm 8 weeks and got my booking appointment tomorrow. Really excited but also oddly nervous as well. It still doesn't seem real!

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 30/07/2018 15:49

Forgot to say EDD 8th March

Baby160P · 30/07/2018 16:30

@AssumeItWasSomethingClever completely agree- I've had 2 scans and yet I still don't feel like it's real. Possibly because other than being very tired I'm ok!

Nolagerformethanks · 30/07/2018 16:42

Jennac I'm a week behind you and haven't felt any movement yet and feel the same, I'm sure all is fine though, we will be wondering why we wished for it when we are getting kicked in the ribs in the middle of the night haha Grin are you finding out what you are having? Everyone in those early days before 12 weeks try and relax, don't worry yourself too much!honestly the weeks will fly by and your scan will be here before you know it, such an exciting time Grin

Nolagerformethanks · 30/07/2018 17:30

Oh ladies if you haven't seen the advert there is a programme on tonight on BBC 1 at 8pm 'The truth about breast feeding', it's following a first time mum doing it and it looks really interesting, I'm still unsure on feeding so hopefully it will give me some answers Smile

Nolagerformethanks · 30/07/2018 17:34

Had a total baby brain moment, it's actually 'Breastfeeding uncovered' and is on channel 4 at 8pm Blush

jennac · 30/07/2018 17:53

@Nolagerformethanks yeh you're probably right!! I'm just looking forward to my scan now to set my mind at ease thanks to all these people creating a problem in my head that doesn't even exist! 3 weeks to go though! When's yours? Nah, I don't wanna find out the sex, all I wanna know is that it's healthy!!

ballanj · 30/07/2018 18:10

I feel like I want a reassurance scan even more after my booking in...!!! Not that anything makes me think things are wrong, I guess the thought of 4-5 weeks waiting and not knowing. What are you other ladies doing in that sense?

BeeKeeping · 30/07/2018 18:23

I’ve booked a reassurance scan for when I’m 7+2 I’ve spent £51 on much worse things! I kinda think why not? I’m probably going to have 2 before 12 weeks 🙈

Baby160P · 30/07/2018 18:39

Oooo thanks I'll record that

Baby160P · 30/07/2018 18:40

I had a scan at 7 and 9+4 and now 2 weeks until the 12 week!

Wordie · 30/07/2018 19:18

Hi, please can I join.

I’m somewhere between 7 + 2 and 4 weeks 🤔
After trying for almost a year with no luck, then having a very early miscarriage last cycle. We decided to leave it for a month. When my period didn’t come, I blamed the MC and Just did a random test on Saturday and it came back + straight away!! I’m a little bit worried, I started smoking again and drinking heavily but obviously stopped when I found out.

Good luck to everyone xxx

Bobbino · 30/07/2018 19:36

Hi all

Could I join you please?

I'm due around 18th Feb! My first pregnancy ended in a ruptured ectopic, so we had a scan at 6 weeks with this one and luckily was in the right place this time with a little heartbeat!
12 week scan next week and starting to get nervous!

ballanj · 30/07/2018 20:56

@BeeKeeping
Really not sure what to do, the other half thinks we should just wait until our 12 weeks. Maybe it's because my symptoms are being a bit sporadic and changing. Had not much appetite the last couple of weeks and now it's back with a vengeance. The gas and bloating is ever prominent though 😂 and the sore boobs on my run this morning was just 😩

TheWanderlust · 30/07/2018 21:27

Hey @Bobbino and @Wordie - congratulations to you both!!

OP posts:
Nolagerformethanks · 30/07/2018 22:01

@Jennac, I know, the worrying doesn't really get better after 12 weeks im sure once we feel movements it will be less of a worry! I am enjoying pregnancy but when I have a good day with not many symptoms it does make me wonder if he/she is ok! My 20 week scan is 23rd August, shouldn't be to far away from yours? I'd love to find out but the other half isn't as keen! Will probably see on the day, if we find out it's a bonus, if they can't tell us then such is life and we'll find out on the big day Smile
